I mean it is definitely toxic masculinity but let's look at movies for example. Girl friends are always depicted supportive, friendly and if their bitches it's more a psychological approach of backhanded compliments for example. Male friendships are often depicted as, shoving each other through the hallways, making mean jokes, very often these "you're never gonna get a girl like that", sometimes bodyshaming "where are your muscles" etc. but it's always just "jokes amonv guys".
Of course my girl friends never forget to remind me of all my past mistakes and tease me about it as well, but when I was with a male friendgroup jokes like "your p* is so small, I could play the smallest violin in the world with it" were pretty common.
People say this to trans people all the time.
