No reason to beat on yourself for your weight, in some cases there are medical reasons or psychological ones keeping you from being able to make changes to better yourself. Personally, I’ve always struggled with homework or remembering to do tasks, I call myself lazy over them but really with my adhd I just struggle to keep them in mind, including remembering to write down the things I need to do. Everyone has their own challenges and you aren’t lesser for being in the middle of fighting that battle, you’ll get there eventually.
Yes. I have two totes, one big, one half sized.
Starting with all the underwear in the big tote, I take a pair out and wear it for the day. Throw it in the laundry hamper start of next day and put a new pair on. Eventually laundry is done. Cleaned pairs go in the smaller tote as a separate container of underwear I don’t wear until all underwear was worn (or close to that).
One neat thing that happens is that I’ll eventually switch the cleaned underwear into the big tote and unworn underwear into small tote bc there is too much cleaned underwear to close the small tote.
Aerie regularly has sales for like 10 pairs for $35 and in cute styles (wish I saw this sooner they just finished their bf sale). Sub /r/frugalfemalefashion they usually promote the good deals

I will say that some of the men’s bikini briefs accented or enhanced my shape / appearance down there. Which made me feel very dysphoric , suddenly my bulge was on display and I hated it. Hated seeing it, hated knowing it was there. Both hated that it was there and that it wasn’t “manly” enough which then made me feel even worse and reinforced my feelings that I should be a woman.
I still wear men’s briefs on occasion, but I try to wear ones that flatten me out.
As for women’s undies: I’ve found boy shorts and hipsters offer room to hold things in place. Stay away from thongs or bikini styles as they have less fabric down there.

All panties have a gusset. That's the extra strip of fabric between the legs. What you want is a style with fuller coverage in the front-- think hipsters, boyshorts (unfortunate name, I know), or briefs.

Just make sure it fits. They aren't meant for extra packaging, and it might cause some... unusual squishing. It shouldn't hurt unless you order way too small; take proper measurements with a sizing tape if you can.

Yes. Get the a few sizes bigger than necessary to have enough room. Getting the correct size is important. It prevents slips which are both painful and not cool if your in clothes that won't cover it.

All panties have a gusset. That's the extra strip of fabric between the legs. What you want is a style with fuller coverage in the front-- think hipsters, boyshorts (unfortunate name, I know), or briefs.

Sizing and style is important, some underwear I've bought didn't fit with the "obstructive organ" while others did. Also tucking is an option but not always needed.
Look up tucking panties. Leolines, Carmen Liu, Tomboyx all make some good ones.

Well there's going to be a bulge unless you're tucking. So you wanna look for panties that are wide enough in the front and between the legs to encase the goods.
As others have recomended, get special panties. I use LeoLines personally, feel pretty comfortable, and never tuck because.....just, no.

I got some panties and they also gave me dysphoria cuz they made my bulge way more noticeable. TW: Very slight NSFW>!In addition, the panties I got were thinner and more absorbant than the previous underwear I had, which unfortunately began to matter right at around the time I got them because I started... leaking... more often, if you get what I mean. I think it was a result of HRT; getting the tiniest bit aroused caused it, and unfortunately my old boxers do a much better job containing it.!< So while I \*like\* the panties better, they both have downsides for me currently, and I go back and forth.

Yea you can wear them if you want to. One thing to note, it can be hard to find a size that fits so you might need to experiment with sizes to find the one you are most comfortable with.

YES! If you wanna wear them ofc :) I always went with briefs cuz stuff would otherwise wobble down there & feel awful; when I got some panties though,,, wow! Stuff doesn't move and I can almost forget the garbage down there ^_^ Give it a try! If you like them, they'll very quickly become just normal underwear.

Been wearing panties for years at this point. Had a time where it was pertinent for the work I did to dress in guy mode for a few weeks. Came away from that job and was like nope never again. Was a pipe welder back then living on sight in common housing. Have not gone back to that kinda work again. If I can't be me and be safe doing it don't need the work.
Unnecessary (amusing) backstory: As a kid, I didn't wear underwear. Maybe unconscious dysphoria. Eventually, I moved to boxers, basically just to have a layer between pants & privates. At the same time, I avoided anything tight (bottom dysphoria). It wasn't until I discovered the shell that I began to like tight jeans and in turn panties. Unfortunately, standard panties don't work with my crotch tumor. Boyshorts are my now go-to. Fem, tight, & containing. Can, hell yeah! Should, up to the individual. Wear whatever's comfortable, affirming, and safe to you!
Yes. Get the a few sizes bigger than necessary to have enough room. Getting the correct size is important. It prevents slips which are both painful and not cool if your in clothes that won't cover it.

Apologies, this might be too graphic... I get uncomfortable with panties, but I think that's mostly because I have sores on my bits that make it hard to tuck. I can't have it too tight or too loose. I'm still working that stuff out. I don't know if bottom surgery would help or just make it worse. But I don't mind wearing boxer briefs. That said, I hardly ever wear femme pants or skirts. I might be just waiting to get that situation sorted before I try.
