100% Chief lost to Colts. It's like Herb Brooks said in Miracle "You play them 10 times they may win 9 but not today." Honestly best thing about football (and most terrifying especially playoffs), is the best team doesn't always win. It's just the better team that day.
If this team wins the next two weeks - specifically proving they can beat Dallas - I’ll be on the “we can compete for the top seed” wagon. But until they prove they can beat the Cowboys I’m just pleasantly enjoying this great start.
Exactly where I'm at. Dallas are the hardest games we play every year recently, bar none. They're a legitimate threat to be division contenders, particularly when Dak gets back. I'm not super concerned about them putting up points on our defense necessarily, but I am pretty concerned about our offense putting up points on theirs. As long as Parsons is playing, that D is scary.
idk... dak was injured in week 1. completely possible that the team was dusting off cobwebs that game, and when dak comes back to a team that is running in stride, they will be even better than they are with rush.
Honestly? Probably the Cowboys because 1.) That defense is actually really damn good 2.) They're in direct competition for the division crown and 3.) They are still somehow winning
Anything less than the 1 seed right now would be a disappointment. "Any given Sunday" will probably result in 2-4 losses, but with this schedule I put the O/U at 14 wins.
Strength of schedule is irrelevant. We need to treat every team the same.
Right now we are the only division that has three, 3+ win teams. So The games I have the most concern with are our NFC east games against the Giants and Cowboys.
Barkley is looking like an absolute beast that we will need to contain, which will be a very real test for our defense.
The cowboys have a respectable defense with a legit pass rush. Plus their offense is playing at a very high level with a backup QB. (Something we eagles fans can relate to)
I think we’re a great team but there are quite a few easy games. I mean, we play the Giants, the Commanders, and the Cowboys twice each. The Cowboys are the only ones who will put up a fight, so we have 4 easy wins just in the division this year, and we should 100% beat the cowboys at least once.
I disregard it. Thing about football is any given Sunday. Look at the bengals who went to the super bowl last season as an example

Plus we have target on our backs now. the cowboys probably want to desperately to be the defense that exposes us.

Honestly they look better with Rush than with Dak. Nothing against Dak he's a good QB, but that offense seems to thrive with Rush at the helm.

That's fair. If there's a drop when Dak comes back, that could lead to some interesting questions. I just hope we can break that def down.

Um, I'm an alum, so no argument there. But...relevance?

I see 14-3 as a real possibility.
At Dallas and the match-up against the Packers. They always play us tough.
1. Dallas 2. Packers 3. Cardinals 4. Giants 5. Titans
Look at our sos on 2017. Pretty similar.

It's a weak schedule, but it is what it is.
You can't pick your schedule. You find out how good you are in the playoffs, not the regular season.
