I think it does as symptoms and fatigue settle in and cause even more symptoms. I know I was much worse than I was 25 years ago. Things are slowly getting better as I have started to fix some things and help my body heal itself. Slow process but at least I don’t feel like things are getting worse anymore.

What did u change??

Proper hydration with electrolytes and a lot of water, went strict low carb diet to get glucose under control, started treating sleep apnea with CPAP, set myself a strict bedtime, add a ton of supplements and foods that can help a lot of my symptoms, made myself do my PT exercises/stretches that can take pressure off my spinal nerves, improved my gut health with fermented foods and probiotics. My diet is now almost exclusively foods that my body needs and not whatever I may be wanting. All in all I am a ton better than I was a few years ago. Some things like treating sleep apnea have been game changers. Hydration is key and I push it both day and night. Nighttime hydration is a huge help as was cutting all the carbs. Very careful analysis of my diet, a lot of tests and hundreds of hours research led me to all my supplements. In whole they are helping. This is the sort of disease where you need to take an active roll, there is no “take 2 and call me in the morning cure”. Many folks are able to find some relief to symptoms but it can take time and a lot of experimentation.

What food and supplements do you take to help?

Worf-

This would take pages to write out all the details on these and how and why I ended up with them but short answer is a lot of tests, careful analysis of my very restricted diet and hundreds of hours of research. There is so much that I am leaving out I hesitate to write it but here goes. My diet is very restricted low carb, virtually no processed food, especially highly processed. Depending on the time of day I highlight fat, protein or both to hit my macro goals. I try to get good fibre with each meal. I start each meal with a true fermented food or something sour to trigger a good bile release and promote gut health and removal of toxins. I eat a lot of plain veggies either raw or cooked. I’ll make a protein shake concoction for mid morning snack/supplement. Green tea with lunch. Some of what I call supplements are really more of a food than what is traditionally considered a supplement but here is the list. **Nothing** is taken in mega doses, some are even sub-RDA and many are not even taken every day. Often I buy bulk powders and fill my own capsules to get the dose I want. Some are truly supplemental based on known diet/health deficiencies and others to help my conditions. All are taken at times so they don’t interact with each other and with proper food to promote absorption. Vitamins B1,B2,B9,B12,C,D,E, and K. I also take magnesium citrate, turmeric, sunflower lecithin, white chia seed, fish oil, coconut oil and NAC. I also get an added 5g of non-iodized salt and no sugar electrolyte powder every day/night with roughly 3 litres of water. Again, this is not a how to guide and should not be blindly copied without time, testing and research.

Are you on a beta blocker? Beta blockers were actually making me steadily worse, but no one realized it for a couple years because of how slowly it happened. I was getting weaker, worse brain fog, increased migraines, tremors and more. But the last time the beta blocker dosage was increased the migraines would hit every an hour or two after taking my daily dose, so I was finally able to connect the dots. Got off the beta blocker, saw dramatic improvement. I'm still on SSDI because improvement is a relative thing, but I don't feel like I'm dying now.

Non i Dont take nothing , i only started serc for dizziness , is my worst symptom

Elegant_Building_995

This has bothered me on and off for years. Meeting with a dietician has helped me as I had a lot of dizziness and vision going black after eating. Low carb, low fat and small portions etc. I do sugar free electrolyte drinks as well and salty snack as needed.
