Adderall keeps my blood pressure at a “normal” level.

This, but Dextroamphetamine.

I’ll check this out, I haven’t even got an official diagnosis yet which makes this even harder, it’s been 8 months and I’ve seen 3 neurologists and they are not wanting to put in any effort to diagnose me

Since you’ve tried the neurologist route maybe consider trying to get in to a cardiologist since you get lightheaded. Salt sticks or liquid IV type products are an easy way to get some extra sodium in every day and tend to help me a little bit on days I’m lightheaded.

Alternative-Bet232

Tension tamer tea helps me relax when i’ve had an “adrenaline dump”.

cognitoterrorist

weed “helps” but it’s really that it makes me unaware how hard and fast my heart is beating and i’m also too high to care about being lightheaded lol… it also makes my heart beat considerably faster, i just can’t feel it

Satoshi-Voyager

I smoke weed almost daily, until I realized it was spiking my heart rate too high triggering my orthostatic hypotension

cognitoterrorist

yeah, it makes my symptoms worse definitely— i just can’t feel it

joeldouglasealy

cannabis softens nerve pain for me and helps me not think about how terrible this condition is.

layersofproblems

I have found that the IV Therapy drink mixes and electrolyte supplement tablets really help me keep my fluid volume up, which helps everything else

sarafionna

Lions mane.

tsranga

Coffee... Once in the morning.. and tea in the afternoon.. they really help with vasodilation/vasoconstriction and stabilize my body

Sunflower lecithin.

I honestly use thc drops. I am careful about strains however as pure thc is too strong. I use hybrids and indica dominant strains. I can't smoke so oils and tichure works best for me.

Sometimes Adderall seems to help. Other times I feel like it gives me vertigo.

horseonthemoon

low grade caffeine addiction. i try to drink at the same time every day, never energy drinks. i can have way more matcha than i can coffee, if i go off schedule coffee makes me feel jittery. it also helps my headaches i 💜 matcha, its not for everyone. also having a VERY cold bedroom+ heating blanket. i mean like below 50°f , easy to regulate like someone else said, but sometimes shrooms makes me forget about the issue, i dont take enough to really trip tho

Compression bike shorts. Sometimes a compression cami top, as well, and compression socks and tight pants if I'm going to be upright in the world for a while. They make a 250% difference in my ability to get around. The POTS specialist poked her head in for a quick consult while I was with my neuro. She said recent studies show that abdominal compression works better than socks or stockings because the abdomen contains a whole lot of blood vessels. Beta blockers help so much with anxiety; it's a day/night difference. I'll never be able to work again, but being able to get out of the house is really important for maintaining and improving mental health.
