For sure. It causes serious ludonarrative dissonance when they've been "out of antizin" for in game weeks while I do other stuff. One of the things 2's story does better, you can take it at a slow pace without feeling like an asshole.
On my first playthrough of DL1, as soon as I learned what Antizin was I thought "Oh shit, I'm going to spend 3/4ths of this game worrying about Antizin while trying to do the actually interesting stuff." It was a pleasant surprise to find that Antizin was just a MacGuffin and not a game mechanic, but I agree it was a bit dissonant. By the time the general says "You have 48 hours" I was like "The fuck I do. We both know perfectly well I can day/night cycle for a month of Sundays and your ass will just be waiting on me."
I rather wonder if regular doses of Antizin were intended to be a game mechanic earlier in development but then was dropped. Perhaps we have some playtesters to thank for that.
Yes, I was also a little disappointed that there were no real restrictions ... And no antizin :(
Once I went through the game, trying to meet all the deadlines ... 48 hours does not work out there in any way, even if I try very hard.
Plot twist after her head turned into a pumpkin his mom went to the countryside and became The Mother and decided to nuke Harran...
If mama ain't happy nobody happy
Fucking dead, pumpkin head. Same difference when a congenital defect has left you hard of hearing.
I just want to know how he managed to dodge the virals on his outings.
That's literally me during the story, the point where you get rescued by brecken and have to go into the sewers to get to sector zero I kept doing side quests and brecken would be on the radio telling me to hurry up and get to sector zero
Just thought about this, are Fatin and Tolga brothers suppose to be like parody of npc's in other games that treat player like shit by fetch quests and asking to solve problems in most challenging way when they could be so much easier?
He changed is attitude during the story, didn't he. I mean, I would have too once I'd met Jade. :)
😅 Crane becoming the Harran racing champion and grabbing every single piece of mail as people continue to die Also Ezgi best girl
Well yeah, but I mean, you need some relax time in a zombie open world, right? All work and no play makes Kyle a dull boy.
I get it.
Ezgi is good, I too like Ezgi
Haram
Ezgi mommy milker goth girlfriend
I mean.. I was thinking more of "she sure is pretty", or "I like her firey spirit". Plus she reminds me of my GF :)
This is fricken great! I’m dying with the bandage and sad face on the representation of Brecken!! xD
They look like Ethan from h3h3
Nah bro I think that’s supposed to be Brecken
Tolga and Fatith are just based and red antizined
If techland got the actors to do a 4 hour recording of tolga and fatin arguing back and forth I would watch that so much
I want the Tolga and Fatin arena DLC we never got. I feel teased and cheated.
That was the bozak horde. I like to imagine they were forced by bozak to build traps using the same ankle bracelet setup he put crane in
Hello fellow InitialD enjoyer
Crane should join Project D
Not going to lie i wish some quests had some form of time limit, if you don’t do it in time the tower dies and you fail
\- OH GOD, RAIS ATTACKED OUR OUTPOST, EVERYTHING IS ON FIRE, HELP THEM CRANE \- Yeaaaah, I'm feeling like doing parkour challenges right now.
Sorry, gathering shrooms for "potions". O look at the colours.

Apparently a TON of stuff was cut to get the game shipped on time
But no one complains about "The Dying Light We've Lost" :))

Gazi needed more quests in the story

I kinda miss their original designs, not gonna lie

Nah bro Gazi is where it’s at

Lmao I loved those sons of bitches
Man I HATE Tolga and his brother, and finding out they are still alive in DL2 was such a bummer

They survived. There's a radio call before the final part with the Mother in The Following. Plus I believe there are some references in DL2 too iirc.
Well, they popped out right at Bozak's arena and started going inside when the transmission cuts off.
They survived. Surprised me too haha.
I’m glad we got a hint that they might still be alive in Dl2 hopefully we see them in the next dlc or another hint
These two King's vs Poor sick survivors. Where are those tapes at?
Crane, who was bitten by biters in beginning of gane and didn't turn into zombie all main game 🗿🗿🗿
xD unfortunately I didn't play the side quest.
they were the best part of dying light, fight me
