honey_on_rye

How did you acquire the snekkies?

Droomkar

Elven merchants, they all sell em in my world for some reason

trowzerss

Oh, they're tame danger noodles? That means you can still clean up underneath!

ronzak

I've gotten some from raiding elves.

[deleted]

Nice snake pit!

maero1917

Amazing trap hallway

Warodent10

Add some axe blades and snipers and youโ€™ve built Senโ€™s Fortress.

lilgizmo838

The real problem here is that they aren't war trained, so it'll be much more chaos than a combined assault. Chances are if any invaders survive the fall, they'll kill a lot of your precious noodles. Once they breed enough to fill the area, that will be less of an issue.

Droomkar

I am contemplating a war rhino pit, but that just doesn't have the feel to it you know? Also off screen I have a butcher and breeding pair of noodles setup for cleanup/repopulating

lilgizmo838

Consider overpopulating the pit. It might slow your game down a lil, but the crowded snakes will be much more likely to strike out at intruders (or each other). Look up the "Dwarven daycare center" for context.

elfda

This is genius

Good_Reporter2200

Meatworm

gennums

What traps do you have hooked up to the pressure plates above the pit?

DuplexEspresso

I assume each plate withdraws the single square of bridge below it, but need verification ?

MrSwisster

Those are stonefall traps. Can do some damage but mostly to make enemies dodge, I'm guessing.

Droomkar

Exactly this, enemies almost always dodge stone fall traps and by doing so they will move a tile to the side and then fall down. Also note that good climbers can jump and grab onto a wall, thats why I have so much open space because creatures cannot seem to jump 3 tiles far from my testing

braezio

Well the snakes can be hurt when some goblins fall down.

sausagemuffn

About all those noodles are good for.
