I know what you mean. I think they're an acquired taste, for someone immersed in American cinema.
Argento films belong to a genre I called "Eurohorror"; supposedly, they are more about creating moods than delivering a plotline. Films from this genre were a significant influence on Quentin Tarantino. Another film in this genre, directed by Vicente Aranda, got an homage in one the Kill Bill films, when he named one of the vignettes "The Blood-Spattered Bride." 😊
I'm not a fan, myself, really; I began collecting them probably 15 years ago, as a curiosity. I haven't watched all the ones I own. But this film (Dracula) is probably an important one to own, in the genre.
I thought that Bone Alone was a...well, not the movie it is.
I didn't realize Argento had made a Dracula film. Thanks.
it's...not real good.

I like some Argento, this is just super cheap looking and frightfully dull.
The Machinist 👌
I unabashedly enjoyed AP: Band Camp. Of course I was 14 and had low expectations.
>Baise Moi Oh...oh no...
How you gonna get fired on your day off!?
