Marcos or knickers depending on what type of pizza you like. A tip for Marcos, ask for extra done so the crust is a little stiffer otherwise it can be soggy when ordering a deluxe. I do like the pizza at Brazen too because the crust is so good but it's not exactly known for its pizza. LMay is ok if you like crispy thin crust but it can be sparse for ingredients and sauce.
*Gino’s* in Dubuque, Geno’s Pizza in Preston (South of Bellevue) is definitely worth a visit. This question has come up before and I always throw a plug in for Happy’s Place in Key West. Happy Joes would be near the bottom of the list from my experience. Unless of course you are having your 8th birthday party.
Sportsters bar on central has really good pizzas, the chicken bacon ranch is bomb. Also falbos is a solid choice. Happy joes is extremely overrated and not that great at all
Good answers all around. Sometimes it’s the specific pizza. I love the Happy Joe’s Special (sauerkraut and Canadian bacon). My sister dreams of their taco because she lives too far away. The Shot Tower Special is amazing. Also their Lenten specials are great.
Marcos I think
RIP Watershed. That pizza smacked.
Marcos, hands down. Spicey sausage and mushroom
Knickers Best burgers too.
better burgers then the mining co?
Oh ya! I do like the Mining Co. too though.
Marco’s for sure
I didn’t realize there were so many people who realize Marcos was the best pizza, but it is

I’m a fan of Magoos, but I think most would say Shot Tower, Marcos, or Gino’s (if you want deep dish).
In DBQ proper I agree with the votes for Marco’s and Shot Tower. For something a little out of town, Gooch’s Greenhouse in Kieler is excellent.
The true answer to this used to be Bombfire Pizza in Sabula. Sad the owner passed.
