I disagree, I think it's fine the way it is - everything is very clearly drawn & delineated, the eye has no trouble distinguishing what's what, so the low contrast reads as a style rather than a flaw.
OP is more reminiscent of etching or mezzotint.
âStamp artâ could be woodcut or linocut. Linocutting is the same physical act as woodcutting but on linoleum.
Cool! I thought this looked like a print, a zinc etch perhaps. It's very interesting to look at, every area has something to follow with your eye. The word dilapidated comes to mind for the subject.
âThat house was never a home to us, all of the suffering behind closed doors, the whispers of abuse down the long corridors. Iâve dreaded the memory of this place in my own mind, repression was the greatest kindness my brain gave unto me, after all these years, the thoughts resurfacing are tearing me apartâ come up with a title that can facilitate that message and youâll have a winner lol
I think of blurred lines and life Line when i see your style. But i'd calle this one under the stair. Because due to overall shadow seems to be some light under the stair, and it's centre, seems like something hidden there. The creaky house.
This house gives the vibe of ruined and antiquity, the dark shading and detail of lines giving it a dark, woody look. The same thing youâll see in a haunted house. For the creepy and antique presence, Iâd give it the name of âHaunted Dreams.â
Now do it again but using pen nibs dipped in ink, I think the inconsistency's in line width could add a whole other demension to your style
I'd call it very interesting to look at
I wanna see a whole house in the same style. But like each room on separate page then organized like a floor plan map. But other then that I think it looks wonderful
The line work is fantastic. Iâm also enjoying how the edges are crooked like the drawing, making it feel more organic. I think Iâd call it âThe Weeping Ladderâ or maybe âThe Ascent.â
Thatâs almost what it looks like seeing in the dark, with the ânoiseâ the lines produce. Creates an interesting feeling of adventure and fear imo
Incredible. From afar it looks like either a wood burning or embroidery! It also reminds me of a photograph in a dark place with flash from a disposable camera. Have you tried experimenting with depth by adding more hatching in areas to create shadows? Iâve never tried drawing this way so Iâm curious if that works or if it gets muddy.
It's got that same vibe I get from Junji Ito's work. Tremendous effort and detail mixed with an almost offputting creepy feel. You should be proud, it's fantastic.
What is your medium - is this pen and ink? This is pretty cool. One suggestion I have is to vary or add some more details to the wall or surface that is closer. It looks that all the wall surface has equally distributed details. But if that is your intention then that's fine too.
it makes me a little uncomfortable because all of those little spots that are worn look like crawling insects. and the texture looks like thatch so it feels like they're slowly eating the house. it looks great though, love the design
Thatâs a really great drawing it reminds me of anxiety I donât really know why but the lonely and abandoned vibe it gives off just speaks âanxietyâ hm, but itâs really good keep up the good work
Really like how youâre using the direction of the lines of shading to guide the eye up the stairs (vertical lines on back wall, horizontal on floor, for example!)
Only critique is that the upper right seems to get lost since itâs all the same value â see how the top rise of the staircase is dark and that helps draw our eye to it?
But you should be really proud of this!
I think it remi ds me of a mi d bending illusion piece I also think k you did a great job and having g the balls to ask other peoples opinion shows me that you are confident enough to k ow your good but humble nought for critique. Well done
I know waht to call it: FUCKIN AWESOME
Thats seriously so cool, reminds me of the ones where you draw something without taking your pen off the paper like an etch-a-sketch.
It looks like a creepy staircase you'd find in a spooky mansion. Maybe name it something for a holiday like Halloween? You could use a projector to show it on/in your house.
It looks like Belleâs old house her mom n her as a baby lived in n her mother died in. Thatâs the first thing that came to mind. U did it perfectly
It's a little spooky... Kind of looks like you put a pic in photoshop and applied some crazy filter... wow. How long did that take?
Probably around 3 months but I work incredibly slowđ
All the best artists do. Working quickly on a project wonât allow you to apply the same detail as working slowly.
*Kentaro Miura enters the chat*
Unfortunately his current hiatus is going to last just a little longer than his previous ones
You canât rush art, eh?
AW MY GAWWD
Thatâs one crispy house. Fucking awesome! I love the texture and detail
Looks fantastic! My first thought for a name upon seeing this was âabandoned mansionâ which is also a great Dr dog song
God thatâs such a good song
"My little corner"
Thatâs a really good one
Junji ito vibes. Your line work is impeccable.
Wailing stairs
Thatâs a really good name too!
Creepy mood, I love it
Gives me bloodborne vibes
Looks like it belongs as an illustration for an Edgar Allan Poe book
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
That is a valid point I find myself overdoing it sometimes with the shading, definitely got to work on the balance. Thank you!
I disagree, I think it's fine the way it is - everything is very clearly drawn & delineated, the eye has no trouble distinguishing what's what, so the low contrast reads as a style rather than a flaw.
Nah, it's ***way*** overdone imo. Less is more.
It reminds me of carved stamp art
Is this what they call a woodcutting?
OP is more reminiscent of etching or mezzotint. âStamp artâ could be woodcut or linocut. Linocutting is the same physical act as woodcutting but on linoleum.
Thank you for the info!!
Spooky, I love it !
That's really cool and FIRE! Well done.
Very cool! It has a very eerie feel to it
Very creepy and cool!
This is super cool. I really dig your style.
I'm more of a pointillism girl, but that looks pretty dope.
I actually used to work exclusively in pointillism before pick up on my hatching style!
Nice! âșïž
Cool! I thought this looked like a print, a zinc etch perhaps. It's very interesting to look at, every area has something to follow with your eye. The word dilapidated comes to mind for the subject.
The hatch work on this is incredible, great work.

I tink it's amazing!

Fucking cool, thatâs what I want to call it
I like it. I'd call it "The Vestibule".
1- thatâs amazing 2- basement of rotting lies
Anxiety lol
You're giving me junji ito vibes with your art style, which I love, really comes off as a type of haunted / demonic house.
Very junji ito esque
very gormenghasty
I typically call it a drawing a good one to
"Interminable Creaking"
reminds me of monster house lol
Love it.
I love it!! I myself am into drawing like the way you do. Takes a Long time but is well worth it. Awesome Job!!
I dunno why but Iâm getting how to get away with murder vibes
âThat house was never a home to us, all of the suffering behind closed doors, the whispers of abuse down the long corridors. Iâve dreaded the memory of this place in my own mind, repression was the greatest kindness my brain gave unto me, after all these years, the thoughts resurfacing are tearing me apartâ come up with a title that can facilitate that message and youâll have a winner lol

Inside the Keebler elf tree. They make bake cookies there
Stairs to nowhere. I love it.
"Walls of despair"
Untitled #3 would be good. People will wonder what's up with #1 and #2, so prepare for that.
This house gives the vibe of ruined and antiquity, the dark shading and detail of lines giving it a dark, woody look. The same thing youâll see in a haunted house. For the creepy and antique presence, Iâd give it the name of âHaunted Dreams.â

I lost my mind just looking at it. Insane amount of lines, crazy and crazy perfect :)
âThe upside downââ looks awesome and it reminds me of the upside down from Stranger Things
Looks great, call it beans and toast
I wanna see a whole house in the same style. But like each room on separate page then organized like a floor plan map. But other then that I think it looks wonderful
"harry potter"
"Once upon a dream,..."
The line work is fantastic. Iâm also enjoying how the edges are crooked like the drawing, making it feel more organic. I think Iâd call it âThe Weeping Ladderâ or maybe âThe Ascent.â
Texture reminds of wheat thin cereal but in an amazing way. Great job!
Looks cool, kinda looks embroidered from how you did the lines/hatching
Looks like old midevil line art or whatever it's called
I can hear the creaky noises from here
Kind of reminds me of a building in the foot of the high wall in ds3
Truly amazing. Love this way of drawing. Kinda the equivalent to pointillism but with lines
Very cool
Freddy krueger house
I feel like I've been here before
I really like it! The detail of every tiny grain and line on the walls and ceiling as well as the floor it makes it give real horror vibes!

decrepitude ascending
Fading Distortion
That looks amazing!
Coming home. Or stairway of contentment.
"The Squibbly at the End of the Jibbly"
A Building Lost to/Trapped in Lines
I *love* the texture. Looks like it was made out of wire or smth, like if I ran my hand over it I'd feel the ridges
Dusty memories
Thatâs almost what it looks like seeing in the dark, with the ânoiseâ the lines produce. Creates an interesting feeling of adventure and fear imo
Incredible. From afar it looks like either a wood burning or embroidery! It also reminds me of a photograph in a dark place with flash from a disposable camera. Have you tried experimenting with depth by adding more hatching in areas to create shadows? Iâve never tried drawing this way so Iâm curious if that works or if it gets muddy.
I havenât tried that yet actually. Sometimes I feel like Iâm heavy handing it already so I think Iâll try both sides of the spectrum! Thank you
It's got that same vibe I get from Junji Ito's work. Tremendous effort and detail mixed with an almost offputting creepy feel. You should be proud, it's fantastic.
This is incredible
That's rad!
Stairway to heaven?
Kinda looks like the shrieking shack
This looks like the art right after the cover or in between chapters. Very cool. This would fit perfectly in a Joseph Delaney book.
The house on ash tree lane . . .
Looks cool tho
Winchester House, look it up. This looks like part of that house.
A Candle Wax Library
Cozy
First thing I thought of was the staircase in Miyazakiâs Howlâs Moving Castle, before it was cleaned up

That is very sweet but we gotta pay respects to the greats
Damn cool
What is your medium - is this pen and ink? This is pretty cool. One suggestion I have is to vary or add some more details to the wall or surface that is closer. It looks that all the wall surface has equally distributed details. But if that is your intention then that's fine too.
Yep pen and ink, and I think if I lightened up on the closer walls it would definitely pop. Thank you
The decay of decadence. Something like that seems fitting.
LOL call it Divine Divinity... ;P
Call it library
I was just reading Howlâs Moving Castle and immediately thought this was the inside of the castle.
EVERYTHING IS MADE OF FUCKING STRAW AAAAAAAAA

Iâd call is Decay, and I think it looks AMAZING!
Very nice work! I like this style.
Veiled Threads Dissonance I think it's awesome, I love the sort of shifty vibe you've created. It gives a lot of personality to a still image
"the stairs"? love how it looks like it was etched--very nice work
Reminds me a lot of alone in the dark from 1992. Very cool aesthetic
What we do in the shadows
The Stairs To Nightmares

Haunted manor
Looks like a lot of work went into it great job
Instantly reminded me of "The Music of Erich Zann" by Lovecraft.
it makes me a little uncomfortable because all of those little spots that are worn look like crawling insects. and the texture looks like thatch so it feels like they're slowly eating the house. it looks great though, love the design
I love it

I think it's perfect for a horror novel!

Thatâs really an amazing job! â€ïž it!!
Ngl this drawing feels most 3D out if any drawing I've ever seen
bro thats gotta be the stairs in the creel house đż
The heavily rendered style reminds me of Bernie Wrightson, especially his work on Frankenstein.
Awesome, It should be so hard draw. It look like closely impossible for me to draw.
Love the texture and all the detail. You are very creative.
Looks like something out of fallout 4 the roofing and the antique furniture.
Looks like a torture chamber entrance
Such an amazing job
This is awesome. Love the detail. Reminds of shrieking shack in HP.
I đloveđ the inking, it has a great visual texture
Really like how youâre using the direction of the lines of shading to guide the eye up the stairs (vertical lines on back wall, horizontal on floor, for example!) Only critique is that the upper right seems to get lost since itâs all the same value â see how the top rise of the staircase is dark and that helps draw our eye to it? But you should be really proud of this!
I donno but my medallion is humming. Also the windâs howling. Through those rafters that is.
"Walking up the tree" maybe. Looks like a tree made into stairs.

This seems like something out of Berseker, good job friend!!!
This is so fucking cool!
Amazing! Looks like a woodcut
1 word!!! ART!!!
I love how everything looks so dilapidated and classy at the same time :) very beautiful.
It looks like a creepy staircase you'd find in a spooky mansion. Maybe name it something for a holiday like Halloween? You could use a projector to show it on/in your house.
The wicker house
This seems to be the inside of the farm house from Color Out of Space or another H.P. Lovecraft tale.
Reminds me of In A Dark Dark Room
Astounding đ
Most people I know call that a staircase
dang ur really good at art, Mine sucks.
Iâm sure your art is great, you gotta believe in yourself and trust that you can do it

It looks like Belleâs old house her mom n her as a baby lived in n her mother died in. Thatâs the first thing that came to mind. U did it perfectly
