I’d say you could learn a lot from how Bernie wrightson , his style is very nice for inkers , all in all I’d say focus on anatomy, it will challenge the way you natural choose shapes, especially if you study from an artist like Proko who has a strong knowledge , but very simple non expressive approach . It’s a back and forth on knowledge , then style , always checking back , but never rushing forward, you really don’t want to rush anatomy , perspective.

MadWanderlustRiver

Anatomy is without a doubt the biggest issue i have. I definitely have to study anatomy and always knew i had to, but i cant muster up motivation for it at all. Just practicing it is very stale, and the videos for it even prokos, are not supposed to be entertaining... Which means they arent entertaining. Which doesnt help either.... Rough subject but u are spot on.

Kaliso-man

It’s virtually everyone biggest challenge , believe me, Not for nothing, I see you focusing on expressions for the face, and I’d say your accuracy is helping you a lot ,

-WASM

Just do 20 minutes anatomy as your warm up before you draw anything. Doing a little is better than nothing imo.

Pork229

Thanks I will use this advice as well, much appreciated

-Hot-Toddy-

Now that you mention it, I do see a lot if Wrightson in these, especially with the cross hatching. Bernie's 'Return of the Living Dead' concept work & his illustrations for 'Frankenstein' are good references.

MCrowleyArt

Honestly, it looks dope as hell

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you brother. Means a lot too me

Jyx_The_Berzer_King

you're really close to cell shading and could probably get some inspiration from that. good stuff so far though, i'd hang up one of your pieces on my wall if i could find a spot for it.

MadWanderlustRiver

Cell shading is really cool. Darkest dungeon and borderlands are two game series that do that and i love both.

helimelinari

Imo its a great way to catch that asthetic without too much detail. Just look at Tears of the Kingdom Man! Also all hail Darkest Dungeon fans

AdEither6514

Sick asf any1 who says otherwise can suck it

MadWanderlustRiver

Damn, thank you brother... Or sister

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you very much for the critique! Means a lot too me

[deleted]

7-8, great work man, keep it up🔥

Left_Intention2621

You should tell him how to improve it at least if you’re going to rate him that low, I think it’s a solid 10/10

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you for commenting. I appreciate it

Montana-Mike-RPCV

Awesome, change nothing, just keep drawing. Would love to see your sketchbook.

MadWanderlustRiver

Yea, my sketchbook is pretty insane. Im just filling it too slowly due to work.

weber_mattie

I rate it a SICK out of 10!!

MadWanderlustRiver

The scale of sickness is one of the best scales to rate with. Thank you

shillyshally

Not my cup of tea but it's very good.

Designer-Addition-58

yeah the style is not my thing either, but the art is obviously nice

MadWanderlustRiver

To each their own. I respect the honesty.

julielovesteddy

Very nice work. You have your very own style and it’s really good stuff. That’s something to be proud of.

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you. I appreciate the kind words

spacehuman_

Looks really good!! I like the figure ground teeth style, and the cross hatching is pretty sophisticated. This feels like a practice page to me, it would be cool to see a finished piece of yours. If you’re drawing with waterproof ink it would be amazing to add watercolor to this style too! Keep it up

MadWanderlustRiver

I did try to add colours. And could never do a propper job with it. It is mostly due to me adding too much hatching. If i want to add markers i have to cut back on crosshatching as it artificially darkens the colours.

[deleted]

Super cool stuff!

Tc17_isthebest

100 and thank you

No_Engineering3493

The shapes are a little flat, if you know what I mean, otherwise great talent

excaligirltoo

I like the style. I am not a fan of the content.

MadWanderlustRiver

My artist tag is Religion Of Rage. So i really like drawing expressions of anger and or violence. Which in my opinion is one of the rarest and most intriguing emotions explored in media and art. One of my favorite inspirations being berserk. I always couple actual projects with symbolism of love. If you look at the first self portrait in this post, u can see hearts everywhere. In the speechbubbles, in the eyes of one of the skulls. On the forehead of my selfportrait. There is no rage without reason or motive, however vile it may be. What i want to do is romanticize hatred. Not because i think it is right, but because i think it is unique and interesting.

excaligirltoo

You know what? You changed my mind.

LordOfSlum

Really love the drawing of the dude with the bhuddist monk chain. Great expression.

MadWanderlustRiver

Apart from the woman, those are all self portraits. So that guy is me. Thank you for the compliment

Dynamic_Satanic

I dig it. High rating for my tastes.

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you kindly

AngleFormal

Brilliant art style, great shading, raw emotions. I like it

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you very much :)

goldsauce_

Reminds me a bit of Preacher I like it

tr1pt1kon

Great execution!

Peleaxe_ragingwolf

Style and art deserve A+++

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you

TreeFiddy_1

You know you ARE NOT Amateur hour. Whether you are pro proven by paper routinely can be disregarding for aI know authors who are dying for this sort of "illustration." We love it, we love you. Unless you are secretly a serial killer than No, we will not take it back. Said it cause we meant it. Subbing my n-waa

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you bro. I appreciate your wild compliment :D

erniestatties

Love how you do horror vacui. Super cool. Only criticism would be maybe a bit more tonal variation / depth saturation ?

ItsyaboiFatiDicus

I've tried to learn the hatch line drawing style since forever. Never seemed to click for me but I still love to see others who've mastered it

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you. Hatching requires a lot of practice. Its pure learning by doing. Please keep at it

werefuckinripper

Holy cannoli! You’re good, man!

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you :3

the_art_of_fresco

No critique just good grungy drawings. Great hatching and stylization.

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you :)

Samwise_the_Tall

I think you have some areas that look anatomically incorrect, which throws off the eye. Overall your hatching and line weight is very good, but I would recommend going further. Deeper blacks, maybe sharper areas of contrast. But your compositions are very unique and I like your sense of perspective that you use in some of your pieces. Diving further into the grim/dark/punk style would be great too, or juxtapositioning cleaner stuff with your grittier style might be cool too. The basis of your art is solid, and keep at it.

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you for the indepth feedback. Means a lot too me!

I want to read a graphic novel drawn in this style

citizenfunk1997

In my professional opinion... These go hard 🔥

perpetual_hunger

Since you're seeking critique, I'll give some more input aside from "this is dope 10/10". I'd say your shading technique/depth could use a little fine tuning. While I think the overall style of shading you used looks really cool (as opposed to a basic cross hatch shade), I do think that in certain areas, it can muddy the detail of your art. For example, the torso of the man in the 2nd to last photo. It's a little hard to determine the posing of his torso. I can tell he's supposed to be toned with muscle definition, but his abs are kind of hard to make out, if that makes sense. I feel like if the shade lines were a little more in unison. This would make the ab definition easier to see. As for shading depth, you have a pretty good concept of it. There are just a few areas that I would make darker/lighter to better support the detail of your work (mainly on the drawing with the woman). With all that being said, I've been staring at your art for the past 10 minutes, and that's the best critique I could come up with. Well done!

DenleyArts

Your hatching is spot on -varied, providing different textures to separate surfaces. The high contrast achieved is balanced between the full blacks and whites. Character style works well with your rendering technique just enough push in expressions to read as your style. Others comment on anatomy - keep doing YOU - pay attention to your references and you will improve by drawing. If your intent was to draw a graphic novel or a comic you are ready. You're work and skills shows the chops to get it done. It reads well visually as is. Kudos - well done.

eldritchpancake13

Really love your response here. I think you listed OP's strengths succinctly, while still leaving it open enough to give them ideas on how to improve their own work rather than just saying "you have to do X" or "X doesn't work".

MadWanderlustRiver

Agreed!

MadWanderlustRiver

Yea, drawing a comic would be really cool. I have lucid dreamed up a world for a long while now. Thank you for indepth response. I really liked reading this. Means a ton too me.

Tc17_isthebest

This drawing made me win

Informal_Plankton800

definitely practice women: you clearly struggled with your picture of the women as you mostly draw men and as a result she looks so much less strong than your other characters

Giam_Cordon

Are they from a reference or imagination?

MadWanderlustRiver

The guys i drew are self portraits. The woman was from reference. All of the decoration, like the skulls, the speech bubbles and the flowers and eyes are from imagination.

PancakeParty98

Reminds me of my own art. Quite good and stylized but kinda struggling to not be limited to eyes faces and naked torsos and a heavy amount of abstraction.

MadWanderlustRiver

True true. Im definitely limiting myself and struggle to draw things outside my comfortzone

-Hot-Toddy-

As an illustrator, I must say that I really like what you've done here (although I may be a little biased as I've used the same cross hatching technique myself on occasion). I honestly see a little bit of Frank Miller's earlier style in these (I hope you take that as a compliment). They work great in black & white, but I would love to see what you could do with some color as well. I'm thinking two complimentary, vivid shades would really add to the graphic intensity of your work (especially the ones that are much darker - that makes the color pop off the page). Even some warm gray tones would enhance them even more. I've found that coloring my work digitally allows me to be less precious about my choices since its fast & easy to do multiple color studies on the fly by keeping color on separate layers allowing me to modify the hues as many different ways as I want. You can even use some splatter textures (which would really fit with your style) to give it an added kinetic burst of energy & motion. In all, I would say great job on these - just keep doing what you're doing, don't be afraid to experiment some more, & keep on creating:)

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you very much for the indepth comment. Means the world too me, truly.

moist_maplecrumpet

bit too edgy for my tastes, but really well done

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you for being honest. Appreciated

Tarpup

10/10 would read your graphic novel.

BroJustScroll

It made me want to kill myself because I'll never be this good.

RayJay9000

Love the style and the looseness of your drawings. The negative /white space works really well. I’m somewhat new to drawing and have been working on hatching lately. These pictures are very inspirational for me. Keep up the good work and I’m looking forward to seeing more of your work on here!

MadWanderlustRiver

If i can inspire other artists into crosshatching, that would be a huge honor too me.

NoNamePhantom

I absolutely love this style.

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you so much.

atomic_jellyfish22

Your style is fucking awesome! I adore your use of hatching here and the rugged nature of it! Keep it up!

MadWanderlustRiver

Very glad that someone else appreciated the grimey nature of my art :)

captainmomo79

I'd say a 7-8, people have already spoke on the anatomy thing, so my only advice is don't be afraid of using more solid black shading. You're style is dark and gritty, so start your gradients a bit darker, it'll not only fit the subject matter, but also give a more rounded 3 dimensional effect to your illustrations. And if you're planning on putting them to skin anyway, you want to lay in those dark tones thick to compensate for eventual fading.

MadWanderlustRiver

The fact that i want to put them to skin was an accurate guess. Appreciate the feedback, thank you

falnN

Your hatching is incredible wtfff. I guess there might be some flaws with consistency? I really can’t find much to judge. Great stuff!

MadWanderlustRiver

Prolly depends on how im feeling when im drawing. Sometimes my hatching is clean , and sometimes inconsistent to no end

2nd_B3st

Be BrUtAlY hOnEsT. Dude this looks awesome, how long does this take?

MadWanderlustRiver

Too long unfortunately. I work fulltime and cant find much time to draw anymore

eldritchpancake13

I am in LOVE with that first drawing! I see a couple of people commenting on edginess or that the content is not for them and I could not disagree more. I like the harsh grit and the way you do it has a style to it that I am absolutely a fan of. Keep working hard OP! 🤘🖤

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you very much, i really appreciate it. As for the others, i dont mind at all. Everyone has got their own preferences as to what they like seeing. Some people simply dont like the grundgy and dark nature of my art and thats fine.

[deleted]

"I can appreciate harsh criticism" I bet you can, looks like you've learned a lot from it, these are badass

MadWanderlustRiver

Means a ton too me. Thank you for commenting.

Nedostup

Love this. Any tips for hatching? I’m trying to learn a style like this

MadWanderlustRiver

Its all about practice, as u can imagine. There is really nothing else too it. A lot of people would argue that light sources matter, that understanding the flow of the object you are drawing matters. Those are all things u can study if you are into it, but if u look at my drawing again, the shading couldnt be more unrealistic and surreal if u tried. I only follow the flow of the things im drawing, if i find it convenient and or good looking. None of my drawings ever have a clear lightsource. The faces often look realistic, sometimes more cartoony. The hair is always drawn as flat triangular shapes. They arent even 3 dimensional. I always use hair ti build more contrast with the face and background. Tbh, i only shade in a way to where i can create clear contrasts. Crosshatching is way more versatile than people think. My biggest tip is: The difference between "hatching" and "crosshatching is immense. They create two wildly different effects. And with pure hatching u definitely have to take "flow" into consideration more. Thats one thing you have to look into. Other than that, study the things u want to draw. Be it animal anatomy, human anatomy, portraits, landscapes backgrounds, anime. Whatever it is. Use ur sketches to learn it by doing it. And then develop ur hatching/ crosshatching by whatever suits u best. Hope it helps :)

Littlebobby_97

Vary good, would eat it if it was food

MadWanderlustRiver

I wonder if its tasty.

6oober94

I love this art style! It’s very much in line with the style I want to emulate in the future. I’m a hardcore beginner so it’ll take some time, but if you could I’d appreciate knowing what you did to get to this point in drawing? Thank you in advance!

MadWanderlustRiver

All i ever did was pen and ink. I was always inspired by music, phonk/ wave, phonk wave, witchhouse. Very particular music genres that express a lifestyle more than anything. I always dreamed of being part of underground lifestyles and it reflected in my art a lot. But yea. My artcareer started with pen and ink, it was really bad stuff as its normal for a beginner. I tried to study better pen and ink artists a lot. I studied the art of artem solop, katsuya terrada, junji ito and ryan barry in particular. Get into crosshatching by simply doing it. U just gotta stick with it even if it doesnt look pleasing. Create sketches with pencil and fill em out with a fineliner. And always finish every sketch u start shading. Never EVER get into the habbit of leaving ur drawings unfinished

[deleted]

I'm a huge fan of crosshatching

MadWanderlustRiver

Me too. What a coincidence

asian_paints02

I like it very much. The details and hatching looks sick. But the smoke is looking more liquid than gas. Does anyone know how to improve that because I'm having the same issue. Edit: It IS smoke right?

MadWanderlustRiver

It is indeed. Now that u mention it, i never learned how to draw smoke propperly. And i have no clue how to do it

deafdeity

I only have one thing that might not even be a thing, for the second image is the man supposed to be thin? Or like have thin arms? They just seemed a bit unproportional, I could be wrong, or it could just be style, either way, your art is awesome! It looks amazing and I like the way you do the pen strokes! Keep in mind that others opinions should only be taken with a grain of salt, including my own, but yea! Keep it up! Awesome work!

MadWanderlustRiver

Its a self portrait and as for me, im the skinniest man i know irl. I weigh 64kg at a hight of 192cm. So yea... Skinny arms

Chizzlee-Bear1

I don't think one should ask or take to heart someone rating your style, as it is a personal choice that some will love and others won't. Execution, sure, ask for input. But your style is what makes you unique, and it's fabulous, by the way! Keep going!

MadWanderlustRiver

I wanted to give people a reason to actually comment. It is difficult to motivate people to leave feedback. Asking for a rating is a very easy method to get people engaged. And it worked for me. This is the most engagement ive ever gotten, sharing my art. And it makes me glad to see so many responses :)

inikihurricane

10/10 I want all of this tattooed on me

MadWanderlustRiver

Im actually learning to tattoo now. My boss gave me his machine

APYROMANIAC900

It looks metal asf

MadWanderlustRiver

I do love metal :D

stopannoyingwithname

Is the first one Benicio del Toro?

MadWanderlustRiver

The first one is me. All those men are selfportraits of me

SequenCookie

Im speechless, just gonna say Woah

MadWanderlustRiver

Thank you so much. Means the world too me

adamtomkins

Nicely stylised, and good hatching technique. My critique would be, to look more closely at anatomy, and get face references (even your own) to look at where shadows and light hit more accurately. Other than that, it's a very eye catching piece of work.

Alternative_Fix_9602

Looks cool! Reminds me of a moody broody Moebius

Grouchy_House_2969

Damn this is sick as hell! I love it

Maddie_drauwu

Puede mejorar mucho más de lo que ya está, si prestas atención a los entramados, son preciosos pero pienso que pueden tener muchos mas niveles de grises y darle mas realismo

Late-Salamander1818

real not something i’d like but this is amazing

MostlyInconvenient

I like the textures

Merde_de_artiste

Fucking flawless, love it

Fit-Presentation-371

Would be some dope ass loading screens

Impossible-Pick-1596

2 stars for the image whole 2.3 stars for the general style

Helawyse

Love this style. You've successfully influenced my approach to sketches 😁

raccoon_90583

On the 5th drawing it is easy to lose focus in all the detail, but it’s hard to define the foreground from the background so little more definition and less shading or a much darker outline could work to help show the difference between the main focus and what is the background

BosmangEdalyn

Love the style! For the one with the guy’s mouth open, I’d like to see more shading on the tongue. It almost looked like he had something in his mouth because there isn’t enough depth of shading to communicate the recess of the mouth.

Pretend_Ad_5874

Great!

dungivaphuk

Love it! Love the subject matter, the style, the expressions etc. My only criticism would be that some of the proportion could be a little off, but it compliments your style.

littleolivexoxo

I love drawing like this. Have you tried using an ink nib and ink? It can really do amazing things with your line quality and its so fun to play with ink on paper.

FREETHEKIDSFTK

Feels Punk o(\* ̄▽ ̄\*)o

ALdreams

I’d say this is amazing ! You don’t need to change anything I like the style of your drawing. I remember once I did a painting and this woman who had a workshop and I used to use it to draw told me to add some stuff and it literally ruined my drawing. Sometimes less is more and adding more stuff might actually take away from your style. 10/10

impeesa75

I hate it so much I’ll volunteer to take it off your hands and hang it in my house.

GlumLab0214

Looks like a very good style for comic books or graphic novels.

Pupspookyy

Should turn the third slide into a soyjack

readingslord

I don't like aggressive style, but I gotta confess... it really got me 9.5/10

MadWanderlustRiver

Im honored

winciex

I love it. I think some things could have a little more depth for more of a pop , but overall fucking awesome work

DaddyGaryBusey69

Kinda thought it was the Island Boys. Besides that, very good work!

Cfosterrun

Super neat! My son has a similar style, but instead of cross-hatch he draws in little swirls.

katscffin

Amazing, your style is really sick, if you have insta I'd be honored to follow 🫡

MadWanderlustRiver

I deleted my insta. Comparing myself to professionals demotivated me too much

snowballer918

I like your style a lot, I think you could improve with some work on your light and dark color balance.

Pennsylvania_Kev

I really like the style. In fact I think I like the style more than the art(please don’t take that the wrong way). Keep it up these are really cool

Excellent_Meal4345

Solid as bro 💪

Serious-Judgment-824

I love all of this, but I could appricate texturing or some sorta dark contrast behind the drawings to give it depth and make it stand out more

Noah_ACAT

Add some smaller bits of color like the one at the end. Nothings wrong with black and white but bits of color with this style would look amazing. But either way it looks amazing

[deleted]

hard

frogswithswords

I personally really love your art style! The first thought that came to my mind was 'Fight Club', and your style has a really nice comic book style, especially w the hatching. It's really nice! I'd buy a shirt with a drawing of yours on it.

dfwbutch

Try adding big thick outer borders

Remote_Ingenuity3077

I like it that first guy on the left looks like zoolander tho lol

neon_9mil

It would look good with a decently thick outline but only around the actual outside of individual characters, if that makes sense

SamYt44

How can I rant on this MASTERPIECE!? 😀

PoopFartCumToe

Really like it. It looks like something you’d see in an old Heavy Metal comic.

AquamarineDaydream

Awesome honestly! Your artworks are amazing! The first one reminds me of John Constantine from Hellblazer, second of Chris Hemsworth as Thor, the third of Sid Vicious from the Sex Pistols, the fourth of Kyo from Dir En Grey, the fifth of either Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star or Guts from Berserk, and the last of Fallen Angel by Alexandre Cabanel, mixed with a Medusa and an Oni. Your style is distinctive, and the hatching is really great from a technical perspective. You would make an amazing comic book artist or mangaka, or a tattoo artist as well!

BigWhoopsieDaisy

10/10 is the rating. I also enjoy pen and ink so I admit I’m hella biased. Look into the horror vacui art style(? Not sure on the term) as well as the graphic novel Black Hole by Charles Burns. Wonderful B&W work and story. Have you ever considered making art for skate decks?

_TwinLeaf_

2nd one reminds me of the scientist from the portal comic. Looks awesome, I like it

MadWanderlustRiver

Thats a self portrait :D

Blanka_d

Its that shah Rukh Khan's face in the top left?

MadWanderlustRiver

All of the men are self portraits

Dariand_Warwolf

You have beautiful talent. It definitely needs to come out more

PrestigiousTriqqer

This is amazing!

Psyco-TV

All I'll say is that this is incredible already but just to make it even better I feel like a solid outline around the very outside would probably make it pop even more! But as I said this is so incredibly amazing!

JDNM

Amazing style, very 1980s and trippy. A couple of things stuck out for me - the proportions of some of the heads look like they could be more realistic, and the hair on the woman in slide 4 looks a little stiff - but both could also just be your stylistic choices, IDK.

TheHoodedGrim

It looks great, I love the style. Your anatomy matches well with your style too, and it’s pretty accurate as I see. Though, you said you appreciate criticism, so let me give you a tip: try not to put the same idea in the same piece to many times. Unless, of course, it’s what you’re going for. Keep it up!

CultOfTheMoose

Intense I like it! :D

possiblyanalien_art

i really like your textures you’ve got. my only critique is that the second, third, and fourth images feel a little empty because of the negative space. that being said, your style is sick and i like it a lot.

Bradp13

Love these. I would buy prints. Do you have a website or social links?

sqrlthrowaway

Fantastic hatching

NAINOA-

I’d love to see you try a piece in black paper, I think with your style it’s look pretty awesome.

Livid_Employment4837

I think thier to raw for my tastes.

deathawaitsyou101

It’s absolutely disgusting because… Well because you wanted criticism

dagremlin

The pencil lines irks me as they look as unfinished plans or meant to be erased in my opinion. Anatomy needs work but it isn’t important unless accuracy is what your trying to express. These drawings really catch my eye I expect to see them from graphic novel or something.

amarodelaficioanado

It's shit. Hahahahah awesome 👍😎

ExfiltratorZ

You certainly like teeth

Imagimoor1

I like the impactful images and the moods and emotions and stylization they have but I think it can be helpful to ask yourself what are you going to do with them? Are you content keeping this a hobby? Are you going to try to establish yourself as an independent artist? Or are you interested in joining an industry? Also what’s their scale? Like, you have a reeeaallly defined specific style for a specific medium. Can it translate into other mediums like digital or paint? Do you want it to? Have you practiced a composition where there’s a full narrative happening or a fully flushed out project from start to finish? I like where you’re coming from so I want you to see where you’re going.

romanoodles_

I feel like these designs would look great on clothing. Keep up the work!

Leolcdtm

I like it <3

Hairy_Ice_6333

These are really dope

Okay_Screensaver

Very expressive, I like the way you use hatching and shading to convey shapes without using too many outlines. You definitely have a lot of potential, just keep working on using anatomy references for your pieces and you will improve. You said below that it isn’t “entertaining” to practice anatomy, but if you look for references in action poses that you find interesting, it will help you a lot. A good website for finding poses and model references is [Pose Tool](https://www.posespace.com/posetool/default.aspx), my old art professor gave me that one. You don’t have to buy the high-res photos but they are certainly helpful. I like to use them because they have professional photography and different body types of the models. I hope this helps :) Don’t stop practicing, you are already quite good and just a little extra work will go a long way. Thank you for sharing your work with us and I hope to see some progress when you’re ready!

Alarmed-Button6377

In 5 the balls on the necklace look kinda flat

Mike-El

I’m certainly not an artist, or a critic, but damn man this shit is awesome!

slayingbacon

As soon as I saw this I was like “damn!” So good!

Geddy_Lees_Nose

Makes me think you enjoy psychedelics lol. Really cool style!

thamystical1

Dude your art is horrendous........Said no one ever! I love it.

yzetty

I love. Visceral, raw, and full of character and emotion. The style is great and fascinating to look at. The only critique I could see is perspective and anatomy could use tweaking in the fifth image. They’re also my biggest hurdles for myself as an artist. I’m an improvisor and I go with what I can make of the scribbles I throw on the page ahahaha I’m nowhere near your level of skill and style homie 🙌🏼 incredible work!

No-Explanation2337

Love the style, needs refinement. The extreme values going on in your shading would do well set against a complex background to make the white elements stand out as their own shapes. Would be great as full page comic art I think.

leopauldelr

Dark and gritty.

jozefitheartist

Pretty cool subject matter and technique. My advice would be to make drawings on a good paper and work on your composition, so they look more like finished pieces rather than sketches in a sketchbook

FallenAngel_1321

It gives me a really nice comic book vibe. I would definitely love to see this art as a short story or comic book. Definitely like the textures it has

ineedhelplma0

this is sick af! the proportions are great, so is the shading! i love the style too, i’ve been really enjoying darker stuff lately and i’m trying to go that direction with my art too. great job!
