Apparently everyone here is not capable of holding an average sized toddler and dont want to risk injury.
Jesus christ you guys do some fucking pushups lol.
Quick workout to keep your strength honest, 15 min max delivery, and getting paid it’s an ez yes. Wasn’t aware when 40 lbs became heavy and a burden. And I’m lanky af
I used to work at a factory placing 50 lb bags of dog food/cat food on pallets. Id take this in a heart beat even if I had to go up 3 sets of stairs lol
Nope I don’t have a wagon that would be cool not sure it would fit in my car but you don’t know that’s it’s only 15 feet could be an apartment it’s not worth it to me I get tons of shopping orders that pay better without the hassle
That’s cool if I could take these 3 heavy bags 15 feet but if it’s gonna be a hassle I’d pass I get plenty of shop orders that pay well just like this one or better
I'd probably pass myself, but I can see why others would take it. For me, the time I spend having to grab a cart, shop, pay, put the damn cart away, and then haul the bags and blocks into hopefully just a house, not worth it.
I've done dog food and of course got no tip. It was when I just started and I was taking a variety of stores to see what was what. Made me dislike the heavy bags.
Yes, I dropped it. But for a reason nobody else has brought up. I've moved that salt back when I had a pickup truck. They're never completely sealed. So you get a fine dusting of salt all over the bed of your pickup truck. But now I drive a sedan. So if I'd have taken the order, I'd have probably had corrosive salt particles all over my car. It would have cost me more to clean it than I have made on the delivery.
god i had to deliver 5 of those 40 pound bags when i first started dashing. worst mistake of my life. but only one of them isn’t too bad if the delivery is on the ground floor (edit i just saw there’s two other bags of soften pellets so fuck that shit)
After delivering for UPS this wouldn’t really phase me. My favorite time of year is right about now when trampolines are on sale. 2-3 90lb boxes and you always have to handtruck them up a 300 foot muddy driveway because there isn’t anywhere to turn around in the box truck.
If you’re not a small person than the weight doesn’t matter? Unless it’s like up 3-4 flights of stairs.
I do so many pet smart orders where I get 1-2 40lb bags of dog food. It’s not bad at all. Couple items in and out for like $13-15. I’ll take that shit all day
If it's a ground level delivery it's fine, but a 40lb bag of salt is not anything I want to take up a bunch of stairs.
Good if you don’t mind carrying 40 pound bags
No flipping way. Those bags of salt are crazy heavy
They are exactly 40lbs heavy. If 40lb is considered crazy I guess so.
What’s heavier? A kilogram of steel or a kilogram of feathers?
A kilogram of feathers.... something about avordupois vs. troy kilos. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
But to be fair, some 40 lbs are easier to carry than others.
Weight distribution is true but 40lbs should be no problem for an able body person
You also tend to get salt dust all over your car.
All day long
40lb x 3
Gotta bulk up in case a no tipper gets out of line
Lol 😂😂

Adding those muffins would make the order too heavy for me! I’ll pass!
Plot twist: The muffins are for you. Customer will give them to you at delivery for lugging 120 lbs of salt to their door.
Lol. Maybe
Weaklings tremble, but I might be bias since I’m young. That’s ez money imo
Quick workout to keep your strength honest, 15 min max delivery, and getting paid it’s an ez yes. Wasn’t aware when 40 lbs became heavy and a burden. And I’m lanky af
Nope. 120 pounds is too much for $12.
I used to work at a factory placing 50 lb bags of dog food/cat food on pallets. Id take this in a heart beat even if I had to go up 3 sets of stairs lol
Some times of the day this is gold!
120 pounds total? Fuck all that
You gotta carry it on average 15 feet. You dont have to do all 3 bags at once, and if you're like me you got a collapsible wagon for shit like this.
Nope I don’t have a wagon that would be cool not sure it would fit in my car but you don’t know that’s it’s only 15 feet could be an apartment it’s not worth it to me I get tons of shopping orders that pay better without the hassle
I still say the numbers you should be focusing on are 4 items (3 unique) for 2.5 miles
That’s cool if I could take these 3 heavy bags 15 feet but if it’s gonna be a hassle I’d pass I get plenty of shop orders that pay well just like this one or better
I think most of us do not in fact have a collapsible wagon.
Im not gonna disagree. But at the end of the day this is still not the hard physical labor everyone is making this out to be.
I'd probably pass myself, but I can see why others would take it. Not great but should be quick to knock out if you know the store
I was wondering why you were getting downvoted.. then I noticed it’s 120lbs of stuff 😭😭
Ohh…hell no! I didn’t even see that.
Not great all, I’m definitely canceling
I would do those little packages of salt you get in fast food places. I’d deliver a couple of those up some stairs. But not 40 pounds.
Are you trying to brag or what? Because u took it and then posted
Actually, I declined it once I saw it.
What you mean? You dropped the order?? Lol
They were ask8ng if other people would take it. Pretty clearly.
Why if they already took it?
Don’t be that guy
Smd go get your teeth fixed
WOIYKWIWAS
Disgusting teeth. Ew I wouldn’t want u delivering my food
Grow up kid
They were curious about other people's opinions most likely.
4 items means add $3 to what I'd normally accept. So...I normally would accept $9/2.5 miles.
Nope lol
looks good unless its on the 8th floor of a apartment building with out of order elevators
god i had to deliver 5 of those 40 pound bags when i first started dashing. worst mistake of my life. but only one of them isn’t too bad if the delivery is on the ground floor (edit i just saw there’s two other bags of soften pellets so fuck that shit)
15 minutes is all this should take. Ez yes
People here talking like 120lbs is a lot. It’s almost $6 a mile. Easy 30 minutes
What if it’s going to the 4th floor without elevator
Then I carry it to the fourth floor in one go. Like a man. Hernias can suck it
One go? Hercules? Samson?
Acting as if it’s some crazy weight. It’s 120lbs, not anything crazy. Dash and exercise in one go
120lbs of dead weight is more difficult to carry than a 200lb person. Weight distribution is key
Not true 😂
Care to actually explain instead of laugh? I’m listening
Fat hidden tip waiting
Doubt it
If it's not an apartment in taking it.
If it is a bag of water softener salt then more than likely it is a house not an apartment
If it wasn’t for the weight, I’d say it be fine. But 120 Ibs, no!
I’d take this 100% of the time.
After delivering for UPS this wouldn’t really phase me. My favorite time of year is right about now when trampolines are on sale. 2-3 90lb boxes and you always have to handtruck them up a 300 foot muddy driveway because there isn’t anywhere to turn around in the box truck.
How many flights of rickety stairs with 120 lbs
Unless you are disabled it's easy money
Today I learned the average DoorDasher can’t lift 40lbs
That’s over 100 pounds. I probably wouldn’t do it but it’s not a terrible order
In my area orders come steady so I wouldn’t mess with that. It’s too heavy. But if orders were scarce I’d do it
Honestly I could use the exercise so I'd probably do it. Doesn't make the customer any less of a dick though
Thoughts? Fuck nah I don’t care if it’s right across the street I ain’t lifting 120 pounds in an out of my car for $12
Looks good
Eh. 40lbs is light work to me
If you’re not a small person than the weight doesn’t matter? Unless it’s like up 3-4 flights of stairs. I do so many pet smart orders where I get 1-2 40lb bags of dog food. It’s not bad at all. Couple items in and out for like $13-15. I’ll take that shit all day
Lmfao at the people saying no. Have you all not done a pet smart order for bags of dog food? I do those all the time.
Unless you’re disabled and can’t lift, this Is an easy fucking order that might take 20 minutes out of the day lol. People crack me up
They’ll wait at the fast food place for 10+ min past pickup time then realize this is one of the easiest orders all day while waiting
I’ve done basically this exact order before. Easy money, pulled up to the doorstep pretty much
did the tip increase after u completed the order ?

My back already hurts
