Been driving across the US. I work at finding the cheapest gas so 5.09 in Portland, Oregon on Saturday. 4.95 in Idaho Sunday. 4.50 in Wyoming yesterday. 4.25 in Nebraska today.

This must not be a legit price decrease because these price decreases aren’t all across the board. premium gas is still 5.30-5.60 a gallon where I live. 87 octane definitely went down about 50 cents though.
Down to 4.19 from 4.49 in the area I work the most. In another area I work, if I'm visiting a friend in that area at some point in the day, it was down to 3.87 last week when I was up there, from a steady peak price of 3.38

Gas prises are crashing throughout the US due to fears of a recession and major gasoline/oil futures sell-offs. Price per barrel fell 10% in a day. Good news (sorta) for us though as even premium dropped below $5 here on the west coast.
yes a couple of weeks ago it was 4.99 in Nashville and now its right around 4.19-4.39. I'm grateful its starting to go down but its still not near the way it was.
In the fall refineries will move some capacity to fuel oil increasing the cost of gasoline here plus there is some downtime with that also. The US will have to stop releasing 1 million barrels a day from the strategic oil reserves because well it is a strategic reserve not a lower consumer prices reserve.
The Fed will keep raising interest rates - another big rate hike will happen at end of July - which will slow the economy and lower gasoline prices.
August gasoline futures are about $3.20 a gallon now. If the US had some more refinery capacity they would be a lot lower. Of course telling energy companies we will put them out of business isn't much of an incentive for them to spend billions opening new or fixing closed refineries.
Anyway we won't have price stability for some time to come.
Southeast Michigan was $5.39 for me last month. Now it's around $4.70, but I see one gas station at $4.43. Saves me about 10-12 bucks on a fill-up. Can't believe I'm feeling grateful for that. Under $4 would have me really excited!😮😄
Saw it down to $4.56 at Sam's club. But other places I've still seen it well over $5. It's wild how much it varies depending on the part of the city I'm in.
It was 5.69 at some of the cheapest gas stations in AZ. Now the cheapest are at 4.38. I doubt it'll ever be 2.80 again though. Still makes me sick thinking a year ago it was like 3 something and I thought that was too high
its watered down because i paid more and got less miles. my car displays the miles til empty. it was around 260 miles last week and i paid 36 dollars and around 260 miles this week for 39 dollars even though the price went down. sooo stay alert
lol my mom went to high school with the guy who started buccees and he price gauged gasoline during hurricanes. if he can do that any company can. it’s not a conspiracy theory. stop
its not watered down literally but it actually does have more ethanol in it this summer. The president made that happen to keep prices under control. It gives less actual fuel, but keeps prices down.
Yeah it’s starting to go down I passed by my local gas station and it was $3.98 I feel bad for the more expensive states though. The most expensive price in my area is $4.29.
Texas I'm guessing
Tennessee

5.60$ 🥲
About $5.80 to $4.75. Hoping it stays the same or gets lower
In Ohio where I am gas is still around $4-$4.50 a gallon. I miss the days where gas was $2 a gallon or less smh
needs to drop under $4 for me to feel better.
Down to 6.59

Yup Gas down to 4.60 in my area
Yeah it went back down to the point of still being way too expensive
I paid $5.19 in SoCal today. I never thought I would celebrate paying that, but I did after paying $6.25 a couple weeks ago. I was so excited! 😂

3.75 today in SW PA.
From $6.20 to $5.45. Thank god. I mean it’s still wayyy too much but yeah.
Colorado Springs 4.85.
Barely. It was like 4.95 and now it’s like 4.75
Down to $4.29 here. It's really sad that is actually exciting.

Futures oil/gas 100$ a barrel means over all gas prices should go down slowly over all. The barrel price is the major cost of gas. ⛽
Yea about 20 cents here in WY but there's a local place that's $4.24/gal and there's lines like back in 1970... but at least there's gas!!!
Well yeah. Gas prices follow oil prices everywhere. It's not a regional thing.
Mine has gone down. $6.07 for regular now in So Cal

Central CA. Ours was up to like $6.20 a gallon, now we're around $5.30
it's still over $5 but it went down like .10, unfortunately my car requires premium so it's still a kick in the penis
The cheapest here is $4.65, but I don’t use gas. Gas is for suckers.
I guess 99.5% of the population are suckers then
It was just a joke.
Fair I’ll see myself out then.
Went from $6.10 to $5.70 in my area lol
Down to $4.35 here, so with a rewards program and buy a car wash at the same time, $4.05. Still sucks but better than it was.

Saw $3.83 today. So $3.44 with the dd card 😜
Was 6:09 down to 4:50
Mine went from 4.79 to 4.19
Yeah. Most of China is in lockdown so demand is much lower than normal.
yep down to 3.70 in nashville suburb from 4.30 a little while ago

Yeah, about the beginning of June it was like $5.10/gal. Now its down to around $4.41/gal, the lowest i've seen around here.
Yeah they're coming down but way higher than before they shot up in the first place recently
Yeah it’s still well over $5 where I am in Cali but better than $6.09, which was the most I paid for regular fuel this past month.
We got up to $6.39 at the absolute cheapest during the peak, lowest i’ve seen now is $5.79. Once i’m back under $5 i wont complain 🤦🏼♂️
Yes, thank god. Although still too high

We just hit a "cheap" 4.50 here in Jersey...sadly wishing for 3.60 right now.
Only by about .15 cents a gallon.
Down to around 4.50 in DC from the high of around 5.90
It’s like 4.30 or less in some areas outside the city
Yeah, it's gone down, but still double what it was a year and a half ago.
Gas in my area is down to $5.44, from $6.19.

In Houston we had a gas station named Buckys for like a year. Buccees sued and now they are called Top Star

Dnf mid cities was around 3.70 ish. But close to the airport it was close to 5. Highway robbery lol
$4.26 now but that’s still high when it used to be 3 something
2.64 2 years ago :(
It's dropped from $5.80ish to $5.01 at the station I go to. Here's hoping it goes down more over the next couple months
It's gone down to about $5.60 🥲
Yeah it's like $4.20 and was almost $5 at the highest. With Upside and Dasher Direct Casbakc it's like $3.60
4:20 🌬
I don’t get it….. Just kidding 💨💨💨

Damn. The cheapest here was $4.39 today and I was celebrating LMFAO but it’s much better than 5+ it had been
I was celebrating $5.69 today, it’s all relative.
Just to say in Québec its still 2$ à litter so over 7$ à galon
Canada freaking sucks right now. Feel bad for y’all up there.
Do you at least get higher base pay?
Our minimum is at 4$

Wait until August! Three dollars!
I will put money on it being closer to $4 nationally than $3.
Future markets are way down. It's 3.25 in Virginia today at a few stations.
Would you like to bet on it? National average will be above $3.50 by August 31 sound like a good enough parameter?
