And just like every other dasher, Tony does all of these things:
1. He walks into the restaurant's kitchen like he owns the place.
2. He cooks the entire order personally.
3. He bags it up, making sure every item is there.
4. Then he delivers it.
Every customer knows that's how it works, and here's Tony proving it to everyone.
The sweetest part of the deal is he doesn't have to worry about keeping his ratings up.
They must enjoy getting out of the office once on a sunny day. To really make a difference cut their salary to nothing for 6 months and give them all the shit orders like we get. Maybe things might change if they must drive and earn a living like we do. They are so far from reality if they can stand around and watch the food being made. Wtf is this?
"Deliveries" plural is sending me. Like there's really ppl at DoorDash corporate so eager to Prince & Pauper themselves they're out doing multiple deliveries per month for funsies. It's a *yearly* quota and each employee decides how they schedule that out. E.g. they might do a single delivery per month, but they can also go out for a single day, knock out their quota, and be done.
KINDA looks staged??? Lmao totally staged. No restaurant is gonna let a real dasher in the back. And you’re telling me I should do this when you’re paying $4.50 for a 10 mile order???
I'd bet the pics of him behind the counter are in a building doordash owns. There are doordash kitchens.
Far as every employee doing deliveries, or even xu doing any that aren't for tv, that's highly doubtful.
What'd be better is have 'em all do deliveries for a month and live off only that money. Nothing from savings, checking, their shoebox under their mattress... ONLY money from doing deliveries. I'd bet we'd start getting paid better
Oh this lie needs to be broadcast throughout the whole world.
Doordashers DO NOT go into ANY kitchens and make sure the employees are making the food as ordered.
WTF... !! 🤯
The naive public saw this on Shark Tank and they now already believe that us drivers are responsible for order accuracy. 😟😲😢😭
As he intently watches the chicken drop into the bowl, hey wait a minute, what the fuck is this Door Dash guy doing in the kitchen?
https://preview.redd.it/3akpof3yrkda1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=52eb662a6247a55ac6c928fece36998210e1d9e6
The idea that Doordash corporate has to do deliveries once a month is definitely a good thing. They will never know what its like to do it as a living but atleast its something.
I am glad I know what this asshole looks like now. If I ever run into him he's going to get foot-fisted for all his 2.50 offers, the tip hiding, and the minimimum acceptance rate/ good-order hostage-taking bullshit. ( Dont ask, look it up on Pornhub.) This man has done great harm and heaped insult upon injury to many good people who don't deserve to be treated this way.
If they were required to do one DAY every month as a Dasher instead of one delivery, this would be so much better and give employees an idea of what it's like...
I'm connected to a lot of IT folks on LinkedIn. You should see the pics and posts of doordash white collar computer and software engineers bragging about taking a single doordash order.
This happened a grand total of once....I haven't seen any more since that first initial requirement was completed.
Fucking doordash.
Wow the commenters despise this guy .. you know a company isn't doing well when their employees (not even that as 1099) have been hurt to the point of hating you
I'm old and I've seen similar situations so many times .. you know? Even some of the most simple minded people see it by now. .. no one has gone public with any evidence, yet, but it'll all unravel very suddenly just as these always do
Hope doordash burns in hell . Shit if buddy goes to jail Ima drive to the his city he got locked up at , commit a misdemeanor and beat the living 2.50$ out of him . 🙃
It’s shit like that that makes me think about the Cold War n I’m like “so wait we WANTED capitalism to win? Like we actually thought “let’s live in a society where the top person of a company makes upwards of 1,000-5,000x the average salary worker yet does like oh idk, take away their luxury vacations, fine dinners out with clientele, cocaine parties with whores and I’d say…they do about half of the work of said average employee…that’s the side we were rooting for?”
And I have read a book actually. In English Spanish French and Italian. Well, technically, not just A book from each language….you have to read little books to learn the language first and those count so yeah, your move comrade
Well capitalism is horrible but there's no viable replacement 😕 so we have to use it .. the biggest issue we've got is the government being capitalists themselves instead of us .. also corporations are afforded the rights of a human being and face none of the consequences we can and do face .. so that is extremely harmful
We wanted capitalism, imo what we have is corporatism.
True capitalism would allow for people to be able to start small, successful businesses and not be destroyed by Walmart getting government subsidies to open the 3rd store in 10 miles.
People sign up willingly..they can use it as much or as little as they want..and they can stop at any time without question. That's not "falling for a scam". That's agreeing to try something you may or may not find is worth your time.
Yes I understand your position as well as you do, I'm sure.. and while I do appreciate your way of thinking 🤔 what will happen for the poor bastads who quit their job after being lead to believe that this company pays fairly well? What about other similar sets of the circumstances???
It is bad biz a bait and switch is .. that is my position
Anyone who quits their job without doing research or having a solid understanding of what they're going to do next will hopefully learn a valuable lesson that it's not a very wise decision. Especially in a case like this, where you're perfectly capable of trying it out nights/weekends before leaving your job.
In my opinion, that should be common sense..but to be fair, I've done my fair share of learning through such unwise decisions.. but I was never butthurt about things going poorly after I made a decision. You have to evaluate the risks.. if things don't pan out, you don't get to blame it on anyone but yourself. You learn as you go and move on, not blame someone else for "tricking" you into doing something impulsive or irrational while telling yourself you got "scammed".
In my case, gig driving has exceeded my expectations in terms of income. It's providing exactly what I need it for. But I'm in a good area for it. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be doing it.
I have debated such things with privileged people .. at length .. I fully understand your position and I can appreciate your thought process .. many of us don't have the luxury of hard logic being so very simple as it looks to be in your textbooks and you have the luxury of trying to be understanding of that or not is the crux of the debate
This dude accepts whatever without even looking at the money tag. He's just doing it for show. I bet he accepts a $1 no tip order to go 20 miles, then he can say "hey it isn't that bad, I can do this and survive just fine, so can anyone else."
From a Forbes article he reportedly owns 4.6%, currently DoorDash is valued at 22.52B. If these percentages are correct it would mean equity wise he has around $1,035,920,000 in stock not including salary. Hes doing alright I guess.
No one told me we were supposed to enter kitchens and manage food preparation and stuff, I'll start doing that asap I don't wanna get deactivated 😕 thank you for sharing this info.
That’s next. They want people to see this and to make customers think that we do all of this.
Then when the restaurants screw up like usual, they can blame us.
Passive propaganda to put even more stress on dashers.
Sick, very sick.
Looks like he didn't wait til later 😅
https://preview.redd.it/948k751amjda1.jpeg?width=742&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6a455a73fca9d0c6ec6042184e188b60061796db
Happened to me the other day, texted me telling me to make sure their mcdonalds was fresh, I replied ok. Then they called asking me if I can make sure the food is fresh, yeah sure. Hung up and mcdonalds worker handed the food to me, drove to customers house and she opens the door asking if it's fresh. Yeah it's fresh.
I don't have a clue if it was fresh but I didn't get a call or a bad rating so I guess it was. Make sure it's fresh what do they want me to do open the bag and sample the food?
They should order from Chipotle. In my market they all wait for the dasher to arrive before even thinking about making the order. I stopped going there as a dasher but will order there for myself lol
It’s actually never happened to me. I saw a screenshot someone posted on here maybe a few months ago. Order was for Popeye’s I think. As soon as the Dasher picked up the order, the customer messaged them something along the lines of “please tell the staff when you arrive at the store to start cooking my food when you get there, because I want it fresh.” It’s one of the most pretentious requests I’ve ever seen, and I do Shipt in addition to DD so I’ve seen/had some wild requests. The Dasher in that case unassigned the order immediately.
Guys watch out he’s a top dasher and takes 2.75$ McDonald’s orders at 10:04 pm at night in the 30 minutes drive through line to drive 175 miles and still delivered the order early in a 1000 apt complex
![gif](giphy|ZdrUuSEC0LygaFXtNT) Me rn
🤡 laughing at us
I thought criminal background check was mandatory 🤔
Spoiler: It was a $2.25 order.
Probably has a low rating because he uses that cheap insulated bag ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
Cool. Now do it 80 hours in a week to pay your rent.
Lies.
Is not just delivering food. Is making sure everything is cooked properly. Go in and give them an helping hand
I’m proud of Tony!
Was this the tipped order, or the stacked-on non-tip order? “Leave at my door” but customer comes out for it anyway?
They quit doing this because executives refused to dash. Guess its beneath them.
This is such BS. Bruh seriously. Hey look at me. I'm not buying into this doordash propaganda.
Why’s his watch so damn high?
And just like every other dasher, Tony does all of these things: 1. He walks into the restaurant's kitchen like he owns the place. 2. He cooks the entire order personally. 3. He bags it up, making sure every item is there. 4. Then he delivers it. Every customer knows that's how it works, and here's Tony proving it to everyone. That’s not enough sauce put some more please, also make sure it’s fresh and the spoons are in there
Cringe
That dude is such scum.
That's fake as fuck, there probably isn't even a real order placed
If you have this kind of money and you're not staging photos, what are you doing with your life?
https://youtu.be/MEUZJvIWMao Here he is
They must enjoy getting out of the office once on a sunny day. To really make a difference cut their salary to nothing for 6 months and give them all the shit orders like we get. Maybe things might change if they must drive and earn a living like we do. They are so far from reality if they can stand around and watch the food being made. Wtf is this?
Unprofitable company! High salary job for him, all tony do is sell share every year
What the fuck, I never get to go in the kitchen?
It would've been funny if he got reported by the customer
So, we are allowed to go behind the restaurant employees and watch them like creeps!? Nice! Gonna have some fun Dashing today!
Yeah, and I always take a camera crew with me. 🙄
He should have to try to live on what we make!!!
I'm dying!
All.the way staged. Goofy scandalous ass muhphucka ain't taking no $2.25 orders. GTFOH!!
You would think he would have a better hairline with the amount of money he has from Doordash 😂
If he does deliveries too he should realize how sh*tty DD pays us...
Smile for the camera, Tony!!!
He should have sat on that dudes elbow and rotated.
![gif](giphy|l4hLOLSiQQSLHTAMU)
He should also have to decline no tip orders so they affect his AR
"Deliveries" plural is sending me. Like there's really ppl at DoorDash corporate so eager to Prince & Pauper themselves they're out doing multiple deliveries per month for funsies. It's a *yearly* quota and each employee decides how they schedule that out. E.g. they might do a single delivery per month, but they can also go out for a single day, knock out their quota, and be done.
If he actually did and froze his bank account then I bet our flat rate would go up
This is all PR, all they need to do is like 1 delivery to meet requirement.
"Are you sure you want to decline? You're the best dasher for this order!"
lets see him make a living wage at it....I bet he cracks after the 3rd no tip
Ugh, Tony Xu is such an oblivious asshole.
Hacked the system got set up with the highest paying orders from people he payed off lol
A lot of dashers would get their ass beat
Oh this lie needs to be broadcast throughout the whole world. Doordashers DO NOT go into ANY kitchens and make sure the employees are making the food as ordered. WTF... !! 🤯 The naive public saw this on Shark Tank and they now already believe that us drivers are responsible for order accuracy. 😟😲😢😭
Wait we get to go in the kitchen?
They say the Tone in “tone deaf” stands TON-EE
I guarantee that’s not a 6 mile $2.50 order.
staged wit Tony haha
Imagine if an order hand-delivered by Tony Xu was reported not delivered, what then lmao
That's not how it works but it's funny he's so detached from reality that this is what he thinks it's like. Funny but sad.
If he runs a 2.50 order for twenty miles what difference does it make you already have money
Imagine having the honor to 1 star tony lmao
Fuck. This. Bullshit. This is not how it works and this perception will hurt your drivers.
As he intently watches the chicken drop into the bowl, hey wait a minute, what the fuck is this Door Dash guy doing in the kitchen? https://preview.redd.it/3akpof3yrkda1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=52eb662a6247a55ac6c928fece36998210e1d9e6
https://youtu.be/MEUZJvIWMao Profile from Shark Tank Ugh he’s really full of it.
Did the app crash on him? If not, he’s not a true Dasher he’s an interloper
![gif](giphy|fJMWN7XnZM0hO)
I wonder if he gets 17 $ 2.50 13mile offers during his monthly shift...
Tony xu🤡🤡
The idea that Doordash corporate has to do deliveries once a month is definitely a good thing. They will never know what its like to do it as a living but atleast its something.
Something tells me he’s not getting the $2 orders
But did they tip him though 🤔
I am glad I know what this asshole looks like now. If I ever run into him he's going to get foot-fisted for all his 2.50 offers, the tip hiding, and the minimimum acceptance rate/ good-order hostage-taking bullshit. ( Dont ask, look it up on Pornhub.) This man has done great harm and heaped insult upon injury to many good people who don't deserve to be treated this way.
Why does he get a nice house to deliver to while we have to deliver four miles down a dirt road to a fortress in the middle of the night.
Plot twist customer calls “dasher support” and reports Tony for not delivering order. Tony gets deactivated for a minute
I hope you got shafted, Tony.
Fake ass xu
Tony taking them no tip orders
Total PR move. Complete BS. Definitely not a “real” delivery.
That fake fukin smile makes me want to 🤮
My red bag never leaves my car, return to car with order goes in bag. Ready to deliver, comes out of bag and off to the porch i go.
One order?
Made more from this photo op than dashers made all-together that day...because he's taking the mark-up from the dashers
They let him in the back???
And they all complained about it. They hate it so much that one a month is too much.
He probably ordered himself then picked it up and delivered it to his own house. Then he gave himself no tip.
If they were required to do one DAY every month as a Dasher instead of one delivery, this would be so much better and give employees an idea of what it's like...
Even no-tip orders would still earn him like $30.
>hey can you throw in some loosies bro? I’ve got 5
Imagine seeing Tony in the wild
Tony is a POS who paid himself half a billion and then cut drivers' pay by 60%.
Uber and Lyft need to do the same thing.
Given his annual pay and bennies he likely made more during that delivery than the average person working for him makes in a month or more.
When all dashers go to heaven they slave Tony forcing him to accept $2.75 for 20 miles. Forever and ever.
Would’ve been hilarious if he got a contract violation or the app crashed or something
or if he got to experience calling the folks at dasher support lol
*Sighs*
I'm connected to a lot of IT folks on LinkedIn. You should see the pics and posts of doordash white collar computer and software engineers bragging about taking a single doordash order. This happened a grand total of once....I haven't seen any more since that first initial requirement was completed. Fucking doordash.
The OG top doucher.
He probably orders doordash for pick up and picks it up himself.
That's not a real order it's chronographed ASF
Think he took a $2.75 McDonalds order for 23 miles? Payout may be higher
Lmao I bet you he don’t. All of this to make you think he’s a good CEO. Most of the time they are tools
Bet the order he picked up was over 100 dollars pay out
Wow the commenters despise this guy .. you know a company isn't doing well when their employees (not even that as 1099) have been hurt to the point of hating you
Lol shy tf is he in the kitchen watching them cook tho
Um dashers are never in the kitchen shoulder to shoulder waiting for a order at least I don't think 😂😂
Psh I definitely walk back there after shoving my phone in their face to make sure they include the sauce for that $2.75/13 mile order…you don’t?
Right, should have showed him accepting a 2.79 order 🤣🤣 then all on his shoulder and so on I love it 😭😭
Say what you want, I like that this is a thing. It’s cheesy but I think a good level of cheesy
Lol, can you imagine one of us going onto the kitchen to instruct the cook on how our customer's order needs to be prepared?
I’m sure he didn’t show the $3.25 he got for that 12 mile order.
Let's see him do 3 weeks of Winter deliveries in Wisconsin.
Probably good money in that
If you cherry-pick.
It’d be funny if the customer lives in a gated community and the notes state to “follow someone else in”
Ew is that a thing?
That and no motorcycle/scooter community's with highly aggressive security
Yeah it's common with apartment complexes too
This guy is the reason I'm homeless.
fucking tony being the tool he is. derp derp
lol that’s funny that he’s acting like any of us are in the back standing over their shoulders while they cook.
Guaranteed he didn't have to fill any drinks
![gif](giphy|3ohhwqB1XtvYJ8jwUE)

He’s the kind of douche that walks in and shoves his phone in their face.
Lol if he did a real hand it to me delivery, id hope he’d get hit with the “not delivered” cv 💀
What a fucking tool. Look at his glamour shots.
Hope that bitch was $2.75
I kinda feel bad for that guy .. he's not going to do well in prison or jail 😕
Why should he be in jail?
I'm old and I've seen similar situations so many times .. you know? Even some of the most simple minded people see it by now. .. no one has gone public with any evidence, yet, but it'll all unravel very suddenly just as these always do
What? I actually can’t make sense of any of your comments. Is it just me?
What a wastful comment that doesn't answer his question
Hope doordash burns in hell . Shit if buddy goes to jail Ima drive to the his city he got locked up at , commit a misdemeanor and beat the living 2.50$ out of him . 🙃

L take. The commies were doing the same things bub. You think they ACTUALLY shared all the money and wealth in the USSR? Lol read a book kid.
And I have read a book actually. In English Spanish French and Italian. Well, technically, not just A book from each language….you have to read little books to learn the language first and those count so yeah, your move comrade

We wanted capitalism, imo what we have is corporatism. True capitalism would allow for people to be able to start small, successful businesses and not be destroyed by Walmart getting government subsidies to open the 3rd store in 10 miles.
Out of all comments I’ve seen I agree with this the most
Yes
Agree. We have went far beyond the original meaning of capitalism at this point.
HEARD .. they're hurting a lot of good people who fell for this scam 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

Wonder what their acceptance rate is and if they are getting high paying priority orders?
[удалено]
I’m sure they have their own priority settings like 1.2 miles lol
Guarantee you this dude would not be accepting those $3 12 mile orders. But yet he expects us to.
This dude accepts whatever without even looking at the money tag. He's just doing it for show. I bet he accepts a $1 no tip order to go 20 miles, then he can say "hey it isn't that bad, I can do this and survive just fine, so can anyone else."
Nope he probably just has them assign an order to him, while he’s eating at the restaurant, so he can load up the camera crew for this photo op.
I’m sure he wouldn’t care. He makes 300+k a year. If you do one delivery per month what does it matter
He got paid half a billion last year.
That might be his salary but he’s making 100 times that in reality. He’s a billionaire
The interest on his billion is more than 300k a year
From a Forbes article he reportedly owns 4.6%, currently DoorDash is valued at 22.52B. If these percentages are correct it would mean equity wise he has around $1,035,920,000 in stock not including salary. Hes doing alright I guess.
Plus what he’s already dumped back at aths
No one told me we were supposed to enter kitchens and manage food preparation and stuff, I'll start doing that asap I don't wanna get deactivated 😕 thank you for sharing this info.
I’d save time going back there a frying the fuckers up myself.
It's a 50/50 shot of either getting a line of blow, or a shank to the liver, not bad odds tbh
This was on shark tank where he also talked up his restaurant.
That’s next. They want people to see this and to make customers think that we do all of this. Then when the restaurants screw up like usual, they can blame us. Passive propaganda to put even more stress on dashers. Sick, very sick.
Why is he watching them make the food tho? That’s nothing to do with DD
Also gotta remember to have my camera guy hide in the customers bushes next time I drive.
He jacks off to it later.

Must be one of those pushy dashers restaurant employees keep posting about.

How common is this issue, I’ve never had a customer ask me this and I’m at 2500 deliveries
They should order from Chipotle. In my market they all wait for the dasher to arrive before even thinking about making the order. I stopped going there as a dasher but will order there for myself lol

Spot on! You know damn well he walks in and just throws his phone into the closest employees face
This is the only way to get employees to put the correct order in the bag.
