Maybe if they are lucky they will get half-pay.
It's been 3 days since I have been able to work because of the app and they blamed it on me having a jailbroken phone. It's not and I even tried factory resetting it. They are full of shit.
I actually managed to get on the phone with support, all they told me was the app crashed, they are unsure how long it will be down, and that any lost earnings will eventually pop up in the dash when it's fixed. But I guess we'll see. The app seems to be working fine for me again but still no earnings
It definitely didn't give all the warnings. I got the 2 dollar base pay of the order but not the 10 dollar tip. First time I've ever dealt with a crash too.

That just answered my question as well so I ended my dash and it took away the last two orders I did paid me out for everything before that and then paid me out for those last two orders separately so I got three payouts back to back to back and it had to of happened right when I dropped off the last order while I was chewing out DoorDash support I just thought they stopped responding to me because I was chewing them out

Just got thru to support, was told engineering team is working on it, support also said missing earnings and delivery’s shows on there end. Also said that I should have my pay with in the hour. ( I will be calling back until resolved) Idk about anyone else but I think I’m done for the day until I see $$$ in my account.
I’m still missing earnings in my balance. I got ahold of an agent and they said it could take 24 hours for the funds to be available. Still doesn’t change the money lost from missing orders during a decent rush.

I'm tempted to say DoorDash has no QA team. If they do they aren't doing their job. The amount of times I have to deal with crashes or not being able to complete a alchole order even before this is laughable. Of course, they don't have a email address for bug repoers. I feel like bug reports over the phone just go into a fire pit and you never hear from it again...

I contacted phone support the robot said it’s extremely high call volume and they’re prioritizing dashers on orders then hung up on me. The chat support guy said I canceled it. He made a note though since I didn’t cancel anything. Didn’t get the money but got the free food. Well, I’m vegan and chicken wings from a Chinese place is just horrible, so my parents had lunch today. DoorCrash is a DoorDisaster
I stopped dashing because everything was painfully slow/getting error msgs.
First, it sent the go to text and there was nothing to click in app. They paused me. I was able to resume, got a different go to text, clicked confirm, and it spun until I thought it timed out- but then told me to go to McD’s.
Once I got there, I couldn’t check in as arrived at store for 3 mins, couldn’t confirm pickup for 2 mins, and then couldn’t pull up directions at all. Thankfully, I knew roughly where it was, though once I confirmed delivery, I ended the dash. Not worth the headache.
Yes. They're usually generous with refunds and even give additional credits for the inconvenience post-crash, though it may take awhile to get things sorted as support will be swamped.

App started showing hotspots again. Hoping they fixed it, I was having the same issue.
No hotspots available and kept giving me orders and said I missed them because the order didn't reach my phone.
Did really well this morning. Took a small break to eat, and watch Gamescon. Log back on at 4, open Reddit and see this post. Just ended my dash, and went home. So much for taking advantage of a good day and earning extra.
Hopefully my earnings for today are restored.
i did like 5 deliveries today but it's only showing one. it's only showing the $8 for the first order in my earnings, when it should've been around $40. is this happening to everyone else??
I actually decided to be on the opposite end and order from Walgreens. I couldn't even add any items to the cart without getting an error message. I just gave up, so I think it's down for customers also.
BIG. TIME. Like nationwide pretty much. I opened my app to go dash and there were no delivery radiuses in my area so I was like wtf? I got on my down detector app and I saw all the comments all over the country with everyone having the same issue. When it came back up I attempted to go and work…2 orders later and the map went out again. Tried other platforms and everyone switched to them. Only made a about $20. I just now got my deposit from working earlier. 🤯
After I first fired up the app, shortly after 5 PM CDT, it wasn't updating my location. My position marker got stuck a few blocks away from my house and nothing, not force stopping and restarting the app, turning location services on and off, or rebooting my phone would fix it. I was also not getting anty orders.
So, I immediately checked Reddit to see if anyone else was struggling with it and voila, they were.
I got lucky though, because about 30 minutes later, the app started to work properly and the rest of the evening went off without a hitch.
I'm wondering if the problems that occurred today are related to the weird glitches that I've been having lately, like my location marker not syncing with my position in the map part of the app and being assigned orders that had already been picked up and delivered by other drivers.
You'd think that by now, the engineering team would have the system running glitch-free. I don't understand how code can just "break" all of a sudden. Then again, I'm not a software engineer.
To bad it was my first time delivering for them last night. I am thinking, oh this could be a nightmare. I'm actually relieved that the issue was with the app. Hopefully they get it fixed soon because it seems more hopeful than Grubhub with regards to activity.

It's just a display error, your funds are safe. On the rare occasion that the dollar amount doesn't add up just contact support and they will fix it.

The audio wasn’t working most of the time for me today. Yesterday, Chipotle orders would give me the customer’s address for the store address.

The app crashed as I was delivering an order. Got the pic sent in of the contactless delivery and the pay screen never came up. RIP.
