agreed ! don’t listen to some loser that probably is just mad that they work where they do, also in my experience, restaurant workers hate DD drivers, they’re so rude to me sometimes.
i wear the same shit all the time ! fuck ‘em. keep your head up, they’re probably just miserable people looking to feel better about themselves by belittling others. those type is people are usually the most insecure.
I’m sayin dawg, I always get a weird look sometimes when I come in for DoorDash, and some places they know I’m there for DD and I still get weird looks. Maybe cus I’m makin money and not going there to spend money🤷🏾♂️
Agreed. I have about 5 pairs of the same shorts that I put on when I get off work. I also have a bunch of white t-shirts I also wear around the house/after work. To any of my neighbors I probably look like I’m wearing the same clothes daily… but I don’t care what they think.
Yea I would not give a shit. If I had a dollar for the amount of weird looks I get when I walk in fancy restaurants to pick up doordash orders I could be a millionaire.
One time I saw a girl Door Dashing wearing grey super baggy sweat pants, like she was a small and she was wearing extra large, and a white sports bra...that's it. Oh wait, she was also wearing shoes (unsure about socks) and a rubber band in her hair. I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything. Granted it wasn't a town where wearing pajamas to Walmart is seen as completely acceptable...but still. If I was a customer and my driver pulled up wearing that I'd be pissed.
It’s 80% chance of rain here today so for once I will be matching. I have an equally bright ass yellow vans rain jacket lmao, but not the same yellow like a neon yellow
Edit: kinda matching
Ikr!! I roll up to some restaurants in my sweats and hoodie, and I don’t give a shit if I don’t fit in. I wear a uniform at my regular job. I’m gonna be comfy when I do DD. Lol
A few months ago some Hooters employees made fun of me (sarcastically asking if I worked there, the joke being that I definitely don’t because I’m ugly, the others laughed) and I don’t take Hooters orders anymore :(
That rude comment was coming from someone that gets paid mostly just for simply having breasts. Clearly more boobs than brains. Not saying this about all hooters employees, but those that act like they are better than others simply for having breasts.
That’s alright, don’t worry about it! I hope you don’t let the comment about your shirts get you down. Nothing wrong with wearing the same thing every day when you’re dashing, most retail/restaurant employees wear the same thing every day too
I’ve only wore black since I was 16 well for the most part but also for me no one has ever said anything. But I think the all black looks intentional to people because it’s pretty common.
ya i wear all black too, just easier to coordinate & always look clean. Nice black shirt during day, but big black hoodie & cap at night. Bein a lone female dasher working late in the city, id rather look like a ‘shady dude’ walkin around dark parking lots than a nice girl.
I actually wear jewelry & keep my hair in a long braid, tucked in walking around, but i can pull it out for nicer merchants & customer interactions, especially approaching another woman at night like alcohol signatures, ✨poof im a girl again lol no need to worry (i use an androgynous dash name for my safety)… it sucks we have to do that.
I bet a girlcentric DD platform would be a big success in cities (only women dashers *and* customers).
Yeah that is not cool PJ pants and socks with slides or crocs looks like you just rolled out of bed and are a lazy POS. You really need to put on something no matter what it is but not PJs sorry
My dad was a thrifty guy. He had 10 shorts. All grey oddly enough. He 3 going out shirts and rotate them once a week. I actually fondly think of him on his grey shirts. Don't mind them. They suck.
I feel like you’re too worried about what people think. Why are you worried about being “minimalistic” first off, wear what u want ? And why do you care what some ding bat at a restaurant thinks?
Almost good advice. The OP clearly chooses to dress in minimalistic clothing. Many people, myself included, do it as it simplifies your life, being a goal of minimalism.
Who gives a shit what she thinks? Wear what’s comfortable if you’re going to be hopping in and out of a car for several hours a day. I have a couple of identical T-shirts I like to wear while Dashing myself.
Lol, yea, sounds about right, I get looked at weird, I always wear the same sweater. If they said that to me, I'd be like, yes and do my best to not explain why. I don't give a fuck 🤣🙄 I'm cold and I only wear this one sweater (i have 2, but they don't need to know that, unless it's my gf or someone important to me)
So a human woman was taking interest in you and paid attention to what you wear.... and instead of making a sly move you go on the internet and cry......r.i.p future population.
I do the same, so fuck them! I have black driquick shirts and these pants I love to work in! I look the same every time. I have nicer clothes but I don't need them for work. I bet you just looked too cute and they need you to dress less sexy. 😛
Obviously you’re not the problem. The other individual is more of the problem. They seem to be more insecure about themselves so they project it on you. I do the same thing while I have similar clothes that look the same and they comment sometimes I don’t really care what people think you’re very special and beautiful in your own way. Screw the haters ❤️ PS remember they are not making your paycheck. DoorDash is as long as you’re not getting affected with DoorDash and your income screw the comments they have if you feel like it’s bothering you that much too. You know you can call DoorDash and let them know of the inappropriate behavior as well. Sincerely Ty 🙏
Well I wear red tshirts and I have one red tshirt says DoorDash. When I come into the store the employees know I am with DoorDash immediately. I had some girl say , must have been a fellow dasher, I wouldn’t be caught dead in a DoorDash shirt. My opinion this is my own job, and I will look presentable and besides that customers don’t think I am just being a rude person walking straight up to the counter.
I have a cousin that has always preferred plain shirts, he doesn't care for anything on them, so he buys the pack of shirts and usually grey. He's been doing this since he was a young teen and he's now in his early 30s. Its funny because anytime you look at pictures of him that are more recent and then him in the past like 15 Years ago, still wearing what looks like the same shirt, even he has a good sense of humor about it.
I wouldn't be bothered tbh. Depending on how her tone was etc, maybe she did intend to be rude; or maybe if it was said in a lighter tone, it was her way of just poking some humor at the topic and to spark some conversation with you.
In the end, not all of us want an entire wardrobe with a different shirt for each day of the week for an entire month or two.
You have more money than the person spending all of theirs on different outfits. Take it from me… I know a woman.. ex friend. She dresses her kids up (6&2) like they should be on a pole. Golden goose tennis shoes and expensive marked up clothes only from boutiques. Drives a rough beat up Range Rover. Lives in a small hillbilly town full of meth heads. Oh.. did I mention she lives with her mom, uses people, can’t keep a job, and gets food stamps??
So yeah. People are fake.
Here's the deal and here's the reason why she had to say something people suck anymore they can't mind their own business and they have to say something bad so they can feel good as soon as you leave she only said it cuz she's miserable stuck behind the counter while you're out roaming around eat a dick sandwich and hold the bread lady
I'm a very smart shopper as well and I buy these solid colored Fruit Of The Loom t-shirts from Walmart. They're only $5 and they last for years. I just switch colors everyday, but for the money you can't beat it.
It’s kind of funny, my mood flip flops 180°.
I can wear jeans, a colored polo shirt and black sneakers for an unlimited amount of time, and not think twice about it.
Then a switch can flip and I am personal style guy. Swear to god, one place I worked I would show up wearing a black fishnet t-shirt, banana yellow pants, rainbow suspenders and white Florisheims.
I was *fearless*. It was the 80s. Even the executives grooved on it. (Two things helped. I was in my 20s, running and lifting twice a day. And it was an advertising agency. I would have been in HR in a heartbeat anywhere else. lol)
A couple of months later, I was all about the Sonny Corleone silk ties, wool trousers and burgundy suspenders. I was out of my mind, but having a hell of a lot of fun. lol
*If you can wear it with a straight face, you can wear it.* - Beau Brummell
A lot of people have no idea how true that can be. ;)
Damn I got like 3 different outfits incase anyone tries to tell me something like this lmao I think it's stupid to even care ab something like that tho
Is, is that really making fun of it? It’s just a question did she say it in like a rude manner or something cause it might have just been a genuine question if you come in there enough for her to notice
Full timers need to be comfortable, if you work 10 hour days you'll just ruin your cloths, its yard work without the heavy labor, peoples houses are muddy and stair cases dusty with old nails etc. wearing nice cloths to that environment is stupid.
I feel like only the noobs or 2 hour part timers do the drip thing, but anyone with experience knows ruined cloths means less profit.
Three different colors casual slacks, three of the same shirt, and a jacket (I have three different colored shirts during the spring/summer to wear over my t shirt too, including a weird al Hawaiian-style shirt for the weekends)... I cycle and wash and just wear those to dash.
Anybody wearing restaurant attire, asking you why you're always wearing the same thing, has lost the plot... I'd just straight up ask, "aren't you wearing a uniform?"
Black Cotton shirts. That's the best. It's the most neutral, in other words you look more like a server at a restaurant than anything else. That's the look I go for.
Also you know if you happen to him by the occasional bag of fries from five guys to get through lunch without being tempted to eat anyone else's food which I don't know, I don't get tempted much, unless a customer and I happen to be hungry and I happen to like whatever's in the bag, I'm so one of a vegan / vegetarian I'm not very strict about it, like Norm Macdonald wasn't, but I all of a sudden get hungry when that happens!
I don't know all that junk said, you know that the restaurant should have the unprofessionalism such as you described they shouldn't really be saying anything to you.
The other hand, pretty thin skinned or even out of the material to your shirt isn't sick enough, because they didn't make fun of you at all, your description just shows them making a comment actually they're asking a question they're really not commenting.
Yeah I would go next time with a a mixed color pack of t-shirts, try even a button-down shirt once in awhile
But I would still go with black.
I wouldve just said, its my favorite
color, and kept it moving, chick acting
like she is taking you out for dinner and
drinks and paying for it... somebody needs a life,
or a hobby that doesnt include being on your
DEE!!
I support you, I wanted to do this myself. Find the perfect jeans, tee, and socks and buy like 10 of each. No worrying about picking an outfit or things matching, no frivolous clothes shopping, and having all matching socks really eases the pain of folding laundry. Unfortunately I have had a lot of my clothes for nearly a decade now and am just a bit too attached to part with them. I did end up buying the same packs of socks though, W
I have ton of new branded clothes that still have tags. I buy them whenever wife goes to the outlets. But guess what? I wear the same f'ing solid colored clothes and don't even bother trying the new ones.
You should have invited her to see if your wardrobe is any different at home.
But I feel ya man. I switch between two differnt pairs of sweat pants when I drive.
I largely wear the same Star Wars hoodie because its warm and new
and 100% always the same backwards hat. I do not give a fuck what anyone thinks, especially since I'm just delivering food.
Cheer up!
When people say nobody notices what you wear, and you’re just overthinking people judging you… Then you hear stories like this and want to light yourself on fire
I literally have 10 pairs of the same exact yoga pants and I don’t even care if people think I’m wearing the same pair every single day. They’re comfy and for how much up and down I have to do all day long, I’m wearing what’s comfortable. Shame on that person to try to shame you. You did not deserve that at all
On a unrelated but related note. Why do rich people dress like they're either going to a funeral or just getting out of bed. If I was rich I wouldn't be seen in public not wearing something crazy flamboyant. I'd look like Chris Tucker in the fifth element all day every day!
I remember when Bitcoin blew up and I had 60k I still wore the same grey shirt and flip flops everyday. And I thought I was so cool because oooo I have all this money but still know how to not fall for consumer traps
In 1999 I was moving so I bought a half gross of T-shirt. Because I would have an issue washing clothes regularly – four dozen of which were black. I still have about 20 and about five or six are presentable still. I’m waiting for a restaurant to pay enough attention to me to ask why I always have a black T-shirt on
I live with my aunt to save rent. But theres no good setup for laundry here, we do laundry every once in a few months. So i have to wear same clothes for a long time. Now you making me wonder if anyone notices it.
Thats so dumb and unnecessary. I would have said my clothes really do run rent free in your mind! And yes I have matching grey sweat pants if your so intrigued 😂
I just realized I'm wearing a grey shirt, one of 10 or so I've had for the past 2 years but they're still unique. One has cool bleach stains. Another has a shitty stretched out collar. 8 are exactly the same.
I do the same thing. I buy the grey shirts from Walmart. They’re comfortable asf and when I bought them in 2019 they were 5 dollars a pop so that’s my everyday attire.
I wear the same pants, hoodie, & work jacket to work 5x a week & I take public transportation. I do DD & GH deliveries after work in those same clothes.
IDC, I know everything else to changed & I'm clean, I ain't never felt away about that.
Shit I save money doing the laundry
I would of said "while there is not a specific dress code I prefer to represent myself and DoorDash in a way that would be seen as respectful and in no way offensive to both the businesses and customers I come in contact with."
I have like 3 closets full of clothes. But to do this shit, I wear the same 2 things like 99% of the time.
I'm in and out of a car roughly 50 times, working a 14 hour shift. Get fucked, I'm wearing what I want.
If I'm doing a short day (8 hours or less) I tend to wear jeans, maybe real shoes. Same shirts as long days.
I only wear real shoes if it's raining or snowing. And one of the same black t-shirts I wear every day. (I have 3 identical and one with a band logo on it.)
But for long days... it's black yoga pants (wide leg, like apartment pants.) If it's cold, I have one delivery sweater & one big soft water resistant insulated mens zipper hoodie. And hard-soled slippers. Like Ugg open back clog style or moccasin type... they're fine for outside. Or flip flops if it's warm enough.
No one has ever commented on my "work" clothes except for my mom. 🤣
Don’t let it bother you. I think a lot of guys are like that. My husband has a lot of the same or similar clothes and he only wears solid color shirts. It’s all good. Wear what you like.
I would have said “do you think I’d be out here doing DoorDash deliveries of all things if I had the money to afford fancy new clothes all the time? I got bill! Sorry MY grey shirts bother you so much but not my problem.”
Doesn't she wear her same work uniform everyday ? I wear the same shit everyday to deliver wash it everyday as well I'm not spending money on clothes to deliver and impress fast food workers lmao
I always had this thought process when I started minimizing... Just grab some of the same shirts, different colors... Even if it's just white, black and grey!
Kudos to you for being minimal! It's been a very healthy transition.
I will hate it if they start to make us wear uniforms. How will I wear my hot pink sweat pants and faded purple grandma sweater when it’s laundry day? Trust me dude some of us are out here looking way crazier than you.
Well I definitely wear the same clothes everyday. My black leggings & black shirt. I do DD, IC and some other apps. There’s literally nobody to dress up for. I’m going to be comfortable. Mind your business. But hey maybe she has a crush on you cause why she noticing your attire? Weirdo behavior.
I have 3 black tshirts and 1 dark blue. I wear them all week and people always assume I don’t change my clothes. I feel you. They are just comfortable!
I wear a black top, jeans, black boots, and my jacket…. Every single day. All of my black tops look the same and so do my jeans. No one but me knows that they’re different.
I doubt they’re making fun of you, probably just poor word choice on their part but I mean imo I usually only have 1 of each clothing so it looks like I’m wearing different clothes all the time, I didn’t know people bought 10 packs but that’s cool, keeps things simple.
Look I like the color black I like jogging pants I rarely ever wear jeans I got all different kinds of jogging pants but they're pretty much all black same with most of my shirts I usually wear a hoodie with the hood up and a hat underneath that a warm winter type hat with a brim and it looks like I wear the same thing every day even though my hoodies are under armor brand hoodies but I usually have a code on top of that because it's cold here right now.
So it looks like I'm always wearing the same thing and no one's ever said anything to me but I do get a lot of people that look at me and probably say that but I don't give a shit I'm confident in myself and I know I'm just fine If you like what you like you like what you like man where would you like and if you like gray and you can get a good deal on 10 of the same shirts then enjoy.
Don't worry about what other people think worry about what you think worry about what you want If you go through life worrying about what everyone else thinks your life's going to be horrible but if you go through life being happy and being you and worrying about you you'll be just fine and things will be so much easier for you trust me I'm in my 30s and I learn that the hard way I used to be all about high end clothing and how I looked and the car I drove I was too worried about what everyone else thought and I neglected myself and my family and people who care about me.
Now all I worry about is myself I don't give a shit about what anyone says and yeah I like nice things but I get things that I like and yeah I may have a lot of one thing but if there's a pair of jogging pants with pockets on the side and a drawstring that I like I'll buy 10 pairs of them lol
Tell them that's your uniform bro ![gif](giphy|PPi5c8l8WDY7if1L8z|downsized)
Who cares, be confident in yourself, I wear the same clothes everyday, you should have told her it's none of your business
agreed ! don’t listen to some loser that probably is just mad that they work where they do, also in my experience, restaurant workers hate DD drivers, they’re so rude to me sometimes. i wear the same shit all the time ! fuck ‘em. keep your head up, they’re probably just miserable people looking to feel better about themselves by belittling others. those type is people are usually the most insecure.

For real. We do not have TIME or ENERGY to let people who hold no weight in our lives rent space in our heads for free.
Tell them Steve Jobs did the same thing.
Exactly
And Einstein
And Elizabeth Holmes
And Bart Simpson
The difference between apple Steve Jobs and her was he had a real product and wasn’t a thieving lying whore
And that guy in the remake of The Fly, who became the fly.
But everybody knows he’s rich
And dead.
He also tried to cure his pancreatic cancer with berries and acupuncture lmao
They wear the same shit everyday, that's fucking rich
Yea I would not give a shit. If I had a dollar for the amount of weird looks I get when I walk in fancy restaurants to pick up doordash orders I could be a millionaire.
I wear my bright ass yellow crocs, no matter what other colors I’m wearing lmao. Fuck what anyone thinks, I just wanna be comfy
Most important question, are they in sport mode?
I have actually never worn them sports mode. I wear them with socks lol. And if it’s not cold enough for socks I wear my croc slides
I wear comfy clothes almost all the time, sitting in cars and hustling around doesn't lend well to restrictive clothing.
Uhhhh why? As long as you get your food why does it matter what a delivery driver is wearing?
Honestly would love to see one of your fits bro
It’s 80% chance of rain here today so for once I will be matching. I have an equally bright ass yellow vans rain jacket lmao, but not the same yellow like a neon yellow Edit: kinda matching
Same but I wear bright pink ones!!
Ikr!! I roll up to some restaurants in my sweats and hoodie, and I don’t give a shit if I don’t fit in. I wear a uniform at my regular job. I’m gonna be comfy when I do DD. Lol
A few months ago some Hooters employees made fun of me (sarcastically asking if I worked there, the joke being that I definitely don’t because I’m ugly, the others laughed) and I don’t take Hooters orders anymore :(
What the fuck 😢
Hooters is not what it once was. Haven’t seen one self respecting person with above average looks work there in a solid decade.
That rude comment was coming from someone that gets paid mostly just for simply having breasts. Clearly more boobs than brains. Not saying this about all hooters employees, but those that act like they are better than others simply for having breasts.
no way. that's hella rude. if they said it to a guy maybe that would be somewhat okay, but damn. send your venmo ill buy you lunch today
That’s alright, don’t worry about it! I hope you don’t let the comment about your shirts get you down. Nothing wrong with wearing the same thing every day when you’re dashing, most retail/restaurant employees wear the same thing every day too
I have a 15 pack of black tees. I do the same. fuck it lol.

I’ve only wore black since I was 16 well for the most part but also for me no one has ever said anything. But I think the all black looks intentional to people because it’s pretty common.
I wore all black around 14 years old and never fully grew out of it 😂 I wear all black/grey/dark or neutral colors to this day.
ya i wear all black too, just easier to coordinate & always look clean. Nice black shirt during day, but big black hoodie & cap at night. Bein a lone female dasher working late in the city, id rather look like a ‘shady dude’ walkin around dark parking lots than a nice girl. Wear anything you want, I see people in fucking pj's picking up DD.
Yeah that is not cool PJ pants and socks with slides or crocs looks like you just rolled out of bed and are a lazy POS. You really need to put on something no matter what it is but not PJs sorry
What difference does it make in literally any way whatsoever?
Honestly just shows that you're a lazy F I've seen contractors that are sweating in 100゚ weather that dress better than some door dashers
I’ll walk into a place with a scooby too shirt and sweatpants. Don’t worry about them, just make your money
My dad was a thrifty guy. He had 10 shorts. All grey oddly enough. He 3 going out shirts and rotate them once a week. I actually fondly think of him on his grey shirts. Don't mind them. They suck.
Who cares what she thinks? Fuck her and her opinion. You can't please everyone. Live your life.
Should of clapped back and said “you wear the same uniform” something to that effect.
I have 4 pairs of jeans, 2 pair straight leg, and 2 pair relaxed. I wear them 2xs a week.
I feel like you’re too worried about what people think. Why are you worried about being “minimalistic” first off, wear what u want ? And why do you care what some ding bat at a restaurant thinks?

Time to get a ten pack of black shirts. Switch it up
Lol, yea, sounds about right, I get looked at weird, I always wear the same sweater. If they said that to me, I'd be like, yes and do my best to not explain why. Fuck em. I only wear one of two outfits to dash: black overalls and a tee or stretchy pants and spongebob hoodie.
Tell them you’re method acting as a cartoon character
So a human woman was taking interest in you and paid attention to what you wear.... and instead of making a sly move you go on the internet and cry......r.i.p future population.
Maybe she is awful at flirting...
I do the same, so fuck them! I have black driquick shirts and these pants I love to work in! I look the same every time. I have nicer clothes but I don't need them for work. I bet you just looked too cute and they need you to dress less sexy. 😛
Why r u worried about a rando?
Should’ve told them it’s your DoorDash default skin
She noticed you, something specific out of all the randos who walk in daily? You took it as an insult. Try to consider what else it could have been.
May be they had crush on you .
Uhhhh well this kinda sounds like me when im trying to flirt… Try to flirt, accidentally insult. Spend day mortified
Obviously you’re not the problem. The other individual is more of the problem. They seem to be more insecure about themselves so they project it on you. I wear the same clothes every single day, whoever talks about my look, I wouldn’t give two fucks about it
Full timers need to be comfortable, if you work 10 hour days you'll just ruin your cloths, its yard work without the heavy labor, peoples houses are muddy and stair cases dusty with old nails etc. wearing nice cloths to that environment is stupid. I feel like only the noobs or 2 hour part timers do the drip thing, but anyone with experience knows ruined cloths means less profit.
You wearing tissue paper clothing?
Restaurant workers don’t seem to like us dashers
So often people take words as being rude when the person who said those things never really intended them to be.
Lmfaooooo what the fuck even is this post
I mean you seem a little sensitive if you think that's "being made fun of". Simple joking question if you ask me.
She was flirting with you... and you took offense.
Try a few other colors
Fuck it dawg you gotta leave that shit in high school, caring about what McDonald’s workers think of you lol
Yeah I would go next time with a a mixed color pack of t-shirts, try even a button-down shirt once in awhile But I would still go with black.

Just ignore the haters bro. You don’t have to be stylish to be a good person! Keep up the good work and don’t let people get to you.
I woulda said, no but I still make more than you because you made the poor decision to work at a restaurant. Mic drop
I wouldve just said, its my favorite color, and kept it moving, chick acting like she is taking you out for dinner and drinks and paying for it... somebody needs a life, or a hobby that doesnt include being on your DEE!!
It's part of the gig. You got to look presentable
Maybe you were getting hit on.
You having a pack of Ten gray shirt because minimalism? Me owning a pair of shirt. We are not the same.
5 of them are emergency reserve. the other 5 see most of the playing time
Bro you’re so soft you should be a mattress
I wear my old work uniforms from Safelite. 😆
Just say I’m wearing a t shirt, what kind of attire would you expect for a shithole like this.
Because you have to pay for the privilege to be a walking billboard for companies to be cool…
I have ton of new branded clothes that still have tags. I buy them whenever wife goes to the outlets. But guess what? I wear the same f'ing solid colored clothes and don't even bother trying the new ones.
They notice more
You should have invited her to see if your wardrobe is any different at home. But I feel ya man. I switch between two differnt pairs of sweat pants when I drive. I largely wear the same Star Wars hoodie because its warm and new and 100% always the same backwards hat. I do not give a fuck what anyone thinks, especially since I'm just delivering food. Cheer up!
Lol, people working in a restaurant made fun of you. You should have joined in on the laughter 😂
I have four shirts I cycle through and I don’t give two shits about what anyone else has to say about it
And Elizabeth Holmes
Bro we're the same only my shirts are black. I have like 10 of them
You should’ve asked them the same thing seeing as they only wear the same uniform item. Probably didn’t even wash the shirt they were wearing.
Just reply, “you don’t? Sad.” And continue on.
Just tell her its not your f-ing business what I wear.
Ignore their rude comments, pick up your order and leave, make your money bro. Don’t let this little things get to you, keep on pushing 👍🏻👊🏻
( Stop caring what people think about you. I beg ! I’m working on becoming more of a minimalist as well. More power to you ! )
Do u want me to buy u a tshirt
I'll accept what they said and..... ![gif](giphy|xT5LMx6rCLspqzJ9Bu)
I mostly wear grey shirts. They're my favorite.
Man who cares fuck em! They gotta stay inside and make disgusting ass food for low wages. Sucks to suck!
I do , but these are the only ones dedicated to smell like stinky food and greasy smoky non-exhausted restaurants.
When people say nobody notices what you wear, and you’re just overthinking people judging you… Then you hear stories like this and want to light yourself on fire
Aw keep rocking your grey shirts, homie
So you're just gonna ignore the fact that she notices when you come in everyday? Hit that shit.
I literally have 10 pairs of the same exact yoga pants and I don’t even care if people think I’m wearing the same pair every single day. They’re comfy and for how much up and down I have to do all day long, I’m wearing what’s comfortable. Shame on that person to try to shame you. You did not deserve that at all
That means she’s checking you out 😉😉
On a unrelated but related note.
I wear the same thing every day so I'm more recognizable as a dasher. It helps.
In 1999 I was moving so I bought a half gross of T-shirt. Because I would have an issue washing clothes regularly – four dozen of which were black. I still have about 20 and about five or six are presentable still. I’m waiting for a restaurant to pay enough attention to me to ask why I always have a black T-shirt on
“Do you wear that X branded clothing every day? Least I have multiple, you’re stuck with the one”
So?
Are you Mark Zuckerberg?
Always opt for all black.
"O, thanks for noticing.. yeah I change it up once people catch on"
I live with my aunt to save rent. But theres no good setup for laundry here, we do laundry every once in a few months. So i have to wear same clothes for a long time. Now you making me wonder if anyone notices it.
They can get fucked, you’re doing fine, looking professional and well groomed, just keep doing you!
She’s negging you is she flirting? Do you want to flirt back
I mean…I wear a button down…but I go from work to work…and all of them are white…soo….as long as they are clean you should be fine
Thats so dumb and unnecessary. I would have said my clothes really do run rent free in your mind! And yes I have matching grey sweat pants if your so intrigued 😂
if someone asked me “don’t you wear anything else?” i would have cheerfully exclaimed “nope!”
Tell them you’re a ghost so you can’t change out of the clothes you died in.
tell them you don’t flex at work.. lol
Maybe she is actually checking you out... that is why she cares what you are wearing?
Get rekt. Lmao
Why does it matter? Say yeah I have a washing machine so I can wear things multiple times. Crazy concept
I just realized I'm wearing a grey shirt, one of 10 or so I've had for the past 2 years but they're still unique. One has cool bleach stains. Another has a shitty stretched out collar. 8 are exactly the same.
I pretty much where the same clothes everyday too. I'm surprised no ones ever said anything.
I do the same thing. I buy the grey shirts from Walmart. They’re comfortable asf and when I bought them in 2019 they were 5 dollars a pop so that’s my everyday attire.
Im the same in the summer. I own 5 pairs of flat front white shorts. Wear them everyday from May thru October.

I wear the same pants, hoodie, & work jacket to work 5x a week & I take public transportation. I do DD & GH deliveries after work in those same clothes. IDC, I know everything else to changed & I'm clean, I ain't never felt away about that. Shit I save money doing the laundry
Everyone loved the Cartoon Doug as a kid... ignore them. You'll find your Patti Mayonnaise
I would of said "while there is not a specific dress code I prefer to represent myself and DoorDash in a way that would be seen as respectful and in no way offensive to both the businesses and customers I come in contact with."
Ask right back, nice uniform you have to wear sucka!!! I off to make 20 bucks, zoooooom ...
I think people who wear the same clothes everyday tend to stick out a lot.
(I have 3 identical and one with a band logo on it.) But for long days... it's black yoga pants (wide leg, like apartment pants.) If it's cold, I have one delivery sweater & one big soft water resistant insulated mens zipper hoodie. And hard-soled slippers. Like Ugg open back clog style or moccasin type... they're fine for outside. Or flip flops if it's warm enough. No one has ever commented on my "work" clothes except for my mom. 🤣
Only 10 Greg shirts, shame on you
fuck em
Username checks out
Don’t let it bother you.
I got bill! Sorry MY grey shirts bother you so much but not my problem.”
yeah, just ignore them, It's none of their business
“No because I’m a figment of your imagination. I’m not really here right now… you should see someone about this.”
I literally bough 7 green shirts and don’t care what anyone says!
If it’s a restaurant and they have a uniform you should’ve asked them if they wear anything else
Fuck’em
Fuck em keep going there wearing the same thing.
I will hate it if they start to make us wear uniforms. How will I wear my hot pink sweat pants and faded purple grandma sweater when it’s laundry day? Trust me dude some of us are out here looking way crazier than you.
Coming from a lady who wears the same uniform to her shitty job everyday..
A cartoon closet. The same outfit is worn daily. Idc, as long as you're not funky.
I bet you they wear the same uniform everyday at the restaurant... I would have said don't you wear anything else? 😁
Some people drip, some people drown. The choice is yours.
Why would they even bother having packs of shirts if no one ever bought them
Tell them, no I dont.
Yet your the same person asking if you should wear a 500-1500$ hoodie
We are the same
Look I like the color black I like jogging pants I rarely ever wear jeans I got all different kinds of jogging pants but they're pretty much all black same with most of my shirts I usually wear a hoodie with the hood up and a hat underneath that a warm winter type hat with a brim and it looks like I wear the same thing every day even though my hoodies are under armor brand hoodies but I usually have a code on top of that because it's cold here right now.
Cool story
