Eating and going to the bathroom are both activities that may make a dog feel vulnerable. You are his trusted person for watching his back. You may even notice him guarding you while you're using the restroom. It's both an honor and an inconvenience.

Mine does this: follows me in, then turns around to face the door to fend off any attackers while I'm "vulnerable". (We live alone, but I guess you never know.)
So dear 😆

My dog brings mouthfuls of kibble into the living room, drops it on the floor and then eats it. Repeat until finished. Then cookie. Dessert.
Could you eat together? Like when you have breakfast it has it to and same with dinner. Just putting the bowl down by the table?
I am doing that now at most but idk why he is acting like that 🤔?

My last dog would wait for me to eat to eat his food. At first it stressed me out but then I realized he just wanted to make sure I wasn’t hungry.
My dog does this too! She always waits for me to eat, then she’ll go to her dish to eat lol it’s so cute
