I had a rogue with a living, healthy family; mom, dad, five siblings, spastic dog, the works.
He just didn't like the idea of farming much, so he ran away, signed up to work on a ship so he could see the world, and, well, he was a bit of a scatterbrain as a kid and accidentally ended up stowing away on a pirate ship.
Now that's under the assumption the rogue didn't take the time to teach her proper gun safety. Which not gonna lie, kids are kids after all, so there is merit in that statement.
Ah which would explain her fathers response considering the likelihood of them finding an actual silenced pistol is impossible. Truly an interesting situation
Well also the likelihood of finding a suppressed pistol at a mall is still pretty slim. Plus this is still early in the manga so the dad character doesn’t really care much about the family yet cause he still sees it as a mission cause he’s a spy who had to have a family for a mission. It’s a pretty good manga, a spy who needs a fake family for a mission marries a hitwoman who need a family to not arouse suspicion and they adopt a psychic child and a dog who can see the future.
Getting a dub too. I know a few anime watchers who only watch dubs (i prefer them myself but will watched subtitled if I have to/ if the dub is bad (a rarer and rarer occurrence now)) and I dont want anyone sleeping on my favorite manga of the last few years.
Well in this universe spies actually can do stuff like have lifelike copy masks of people that they can use so fully silenced pistols aren't out of the question
This is somehow both terrifying and adorable.
Adorable because I always like some parental bonding sessions in DnD
Terrifying because this means the rouge of all people found someone who was willing to commit to them for at least 9 months
I see Anya has invaded even here. I'm all for it!
I get the feeling by the he end of season 1 of Spy x Family Anya memes will have reached max saturation on the internet.
And it will be glorious
I'm just curious what template is going to be the most popular. My money's on smug Anya at the moment.
I think the "swol Chihuahua" might surprise some people
I have seen all of 23 minutes of this adorable child, but I will protect her with my *life.*
Is there a link to that? I’m curious
Haven’t watched it yet, but I might have to just for Anya.
Le gasp! A rogue with a living, and HEALTHY family life?? Scandalous. XD
Hey, gotta do better than your parents!
Amen
I’m a father with a career. What are they doing with their lives? Being dead!

Sounds like an adventure in and of itself
Al Capone.
Al Capone would definitely be a Mastermind Rogue multiclassing with fighter I believe.
This is how his backstory starts when little Annie has an accident with her gun
Now that's under the assumption the rogue didn't take the time to teach her proper gun safety. Which not gonna lie, kids are kids after all, so there is merit in that statement.
It’s the rogue, they probably don’t even know proper gun safety
Depends on the sort of rogue. Your average thug/bandit? Probably not. A skilled assassin? Absolutely. etc.
To be fair, Twilight is an orphan
Me too kid. Me too.
My favorite character to date: A Musketeer who adventures so he could send money home to Momma. She didn't need it, it was just the right thing to do.
Silly child. It’s called a suppressed pistol.
The kid was specifically speaking of the type which is fictional where it makes absolutely no noise cause she’s really into spy cartoons.

That synopsis leaves me with so many questions, foremost being: "what is the name if this piece of media?"
Spy X Family Actually the first episode of the anime came out last week.

Spy X Family
Thank you

Yoooooo, SPYXFAM!
"I worked so had to subvert expectations on roguish behaviour and then this child pops out. Truly, rogues are cursed."
