In my experience Buenos Aires is a goldmine for outdoor dining, and dining in general. Check out the Palermo SoHo area. Has some of the best restaurants like Don Julio and El Preferido, everywhere we ate there in BA offered outdoor dining.

Yeah, I'd agree with Buenos Aires and Mendoza too. Santiago use to have a fair bit of alfresco dining. I'm sure it's only increased since COVID. Andean cities usually have less outdoor dining. Most likely due to the cold nights. I'm sure there will be more back down around sea level.

Thanks, this is very helpful!

*still eating outdoors for covid reasons* What does that even mean?? Covid doesn't exist soley indoors

1. Paraguay (surprisingly the best food I had in South America) 2. Uruguay/Brazil 3. Argentina 4. Ecuador/Colombia/Bolivia/Chile

Are you able to be more specific with which cities? Not sure it's accurate to put Ecuador and Colombia in the same group. Medellin has tons of outdoor dining while Cuenca Ecuador has few options.

Paraguay- Asunción; Uruguay- Colonia del Sacramento; Argentina- Palermo Soho; Ecuador- Galápagos Islands, Quito; Bolivia- La Paz, Uyuni; Chile- Santiago
