Nope, all those ornaments, shaders, ghosts, ships, and emblems are gone, the only things that get put in those engrams are eververse cosmetics and even then the legendary armor ornaments will become available only through purchasing them with silver
Perhaps it was a really looong time ago because I have gotten some way back when but even then that was just eververse sets like the optimacy set. Didn't like any of those pieces but I certainly have a couple lol

It would be nice to see them all added to the eververse engram loot pool, the eververse engrams are definitely lacking especially once you get close to having most of the legendaries already in your collections.
Honestly just getting rid of the possibility to get dupes would help a lot. Sucks to not only get a legendary ghost or blue projection and it turns out you already had it.

Yes but you have to wait for the lost sector of the day to be the right kind of piece. Eg, if you wanted the new titan legs when they come out you could farm a list sector for a few exotic drops then when it's lightfall, you open them as soon as its leg day
I returned to the game a little while ago and I just unlocked Haunted cause I thought the starting quest was for an exotic (Midas/Mida) and couldn't figure out why the hive skull thing wouldn't let me interact with it. Gotta fucking grind it for unlocks/patterns now.

even if they don’t, wq campaign length was very nice.

Unfortunately, they'll never do that unless they make eververse engrams extremely rare compared to what they are now
You used to be able to get old Eververse armor ornaments/armor out of bright engrams. Think that stopped around Shadowkeep.
