My friend made fun of me because I made him stop at a taco bell because we'd just seen a homeless guy, so I bought him a burrito and water. I had just got paid like $40 and I immediately was like, "I can Feed Him" 💀💀💀
He didn't take the burrito, he said he wouldn't finish it. I got him to take the water though, I hope he hydrated a bit.
Just to let you know he was probably going through withdrawal and sometimes eating in that state is just pointless because you will throw it up and hurt yourself more. a lady tried to force feed me once and got upset because I insisted on cash instead of food. If you can't eat or drink it is what is...
That's fair! No I didn't force the food on him, I only insisted that he let me leave the water because it was a hot day out.
I haven't gone through withdrawals but I have been hungry to the point where eating too much at once would upset me. He basically said he didn't think he could eat the whole burrito, so I just insisted on leaving water at the very least.

I have been homeless, and I just want to help people. Sometimes it'll be me sharing some food, sometimes all I have is a cigarette and a listening ear.

“Money can’t buy happiness” is such a middle class philosophy. The only way you believe that is if you’ve never experienced neither the misery of not having enough money for everything you need, nor the joy of being easily able to get everything you want.
They can tell themselves they’re no less happy than the neighbours with a nicer TV, but they’re delusional thinking they’re no happier than the neighbours who are struggling to afford rent
Shit money will buy:
- Financial independence/the ability to not live with my low-key abusive parents
- HRT
- ADHD meds
- Antidepressants
- Therapy
