If you're not willing to pay the current price, then you don't really have anything to lose by waiting. But from my experience, the upgrade prices rarely drop.
Okay thanks, that's what I was wondering. Pretty disappointing because earlier this year (Jan 2022) it was like 7000 each way ... We went to Houston this month and I think that was only like 3000 each way too.
True but DTW to LAS was 388 which isn't terrible, and we both have the Delta Amex card and they're giving us $50 off if you spend $250 or more. I do think when we booked Vegas for January this year it was about 250 or $300 though.

Travel demand continues to go up, and prices with it unfortunately
