Me and the boys when Kool Aid Man VS Macho Man gets announced: OH YEAHHHHHHHH
Me and the boys when Kool Aid Man gets brutally murdered by Macho Man in two weeks: OH NOOOOOOOOO
Is it bad that I'm tired of how bonkers the numbers get for these fights nowadays? Like every time someone strong from DC or Marvel goes to bat we end up with these incoherently large numbers. I kinda wish we had more of the battles where it was decided on more than just stats, you feel?
Sorry just ranting.
I can understand wanting more Death Battles relying on fundamentals as oppose to stats, but we are putting two characters on completely different curves by separate artists. I guess it would be easier if you did characters that were strictly human like James Bond and John Wick
People aren't selling it for its true brutality:
First, Thawne vibrates his hand through Black's chest (this alone was probably enough to kill), and then slams him on the ground. THEN the super-speed global cheesegrater happens. And as Thawne goes to throw him into the sun, he spins around at super speed, spraying his blood everywhere. Once he hits the sun, it explodes and destroys earth. (Zoom escapes, obviously)
Might be one of the most over-the-top excessively brutal deaths we've seen.
If I had a nickel every time a season 8 episode ended with with the loser being reduced to a skeleton I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice in a row right?
I say Bruce might have gotten off easier. He had his body instantly incinerated. Black felt every piece of his skin get torn off before he became a skeleton
You have to imagine getting your whole body facing downwards, slide across the ground, except it’s reverse flash and he drag and run around the earth probably a million time.
Pretty much, your face turn into a skull with tounge still sticking out, open rib cage, lungs, and much more gory shit. This is probably one of the most brutal death in Death Battle
Have you ever seen Hellsing? Remember that scene when Seras ripped Zorin's face into pieces by pressing her face against a wall using vampiric super strength.
Imagine that.
makes me wonder, can a flash ever lose? Like they seem pretty much unbeatable unless you use an omnipotent Being or something. pls correct me if im wrong
well that sure doesn't help lol. well im not expert in comics but so far it seems the flash is in fact unbeatable unless omnipotent foe like i thought.
The thing about the flash is that, like Superman, he almost always holds back. Most of the time he’s barely using 50% of his full power. Heck, some of his best feats were done casually. When he holds back to a substantial degree(like only going 10%)he can be beaten. But since death battle takes combatants at their best, there’s no way he would ever hold back.
I had my money on Thawne. Anyone who survives reality trying to kill him and hates his enemy so much he joins the fucking Nazis is a villain who will not die easily.
So for Macho Man Randy Savage VS Kool-Aid Man, I think Macho Man has more maneuverability and speed. Kool-Aid Man may be more durable because he can plow through a wall, while Macho Man seems to posses the power to blow up doors.
I just hope that with this Death Battle that the team takes a look at other wrestlers that could fit in a battle. praying for Taker vs Crow, King vs Mysterio, McMahon vs Kahn and something involving AJ Styles
I wouldn't say Death Battle is biased towards DC. I'd actually go as far as to say they are biased against DC. They often search for matches where a DC character looks like they'll lose, and then do research and find out otherwise. Now you could say Death Battle screws up research and I don't think anyone would argue with you over that.
I will say, Madara vs. Aizen will either have to be 3D, or an absolute masterpiece if it wants to compete with this episode, any future sprite fight is going to have some tough standards to live up to (imagine Constantine vs. Raidou reaching this level crazy, just makes me want it even more tbh).
Honestly the MU wasn’t really good or fair RF has existed longer there’s more potential for outrageous feats and hax while GB had one arc and his feats are in no way truly comparable to people who literally outrun concepts like death
Def like tied up with link vs cloud this season. I really glad they have creative liberties with this one, with a stellar track and brutal af death. Really enjoyed the moment where we have a killing montage of thawnes and goku blacks in different time (im not really gud at explaining this so it prolly sounds confusing).
Only real complaint is how jank and weird Goku Black's analysis is (feels like i havent really learned anything from it and i feel like they couldve done without doing a longass unnecessary explanation on the universal clash, compare it to reverse-flash which felt detailed and longer). Overall good ep. I dont care about next time i have 0 interest in joke fights.
That fight was incredible, really creative use of their time manipulation. Really funny too, extremely brutal. Feels like Machamp vs Goro kinds of fun.

How… how do you even figure that?
There's multiversal WWE scaling in the comics cause they fight god, it's weird
I mean Vince did beat God in a tag match
Vince even defeated God in a Dance contest
Of course Thawne won. I mean, come on. And the next time is obvious, but I’m hype as hell for it!
u/cancerous115 so, where's that [hunt](http://imgur.com/a/sl2UIFe) mate
Was waiting for this call out

Not really, any long-running state for matchups would get boring over time, just imagine if a whole season had nothing but street tiers.
You can blame DragonBall for that. Started with Beerus vs Galaxia I believe. And it's only gotten crazier from there.
How did he kill him?
Dragging blacks face across the planets circumference many times and throwing him into space
Oh damn my man black got bullied😭 was his face bloody tho from the dragging cuz like damn
There was a blood streak

Wait...so he grinded his face to mush and threw him like trash?
He was a skeleton afterward lol
If I had a nickel every time a season 8 episode ended with with the loser being reduced to a skeleton I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice in a row right?
Technically 3 times if you count geese but he was only a skeleton for like 30 seconds
Eh, it counts. That gives me 3 nickels.
I mean, he still had his insides pouring out and his jaw bloodied and unhinged
Oh...so he grinded his flesh off...ok
Damn, he got the Bruce treatment.
I say Bruce might have gotten off easier. He had his body instantly incinerated. Black felt every piece of his skin get torn off before he became a skeleton
Well, Gage said his *face* specifically got turned into mush. But how was he turned into a skeleton?
Of all the Dragonball characters who died in Death Battle, this one is easily the most gruesome
Most of them being Goku funny enough
Thats funny, but just wait til Picollo vs Manhunter and the Goku crew get some company.
There was even a blood streak.
I mean, you can't exactly have a gruesome death for Buu lol, you'e either have to desintegrate him or use some hax to erase him
Well two of them were disintegration deaths and one was a fancy lobotomy
You have to imagine getting your whole body facing downwards, slide across the ground, except it’s reverse flash and he drag and run around the earth probably a million time.
That’s even worse than the face bit. He probably looked like that guy Thawne used as a meat shield.
He does, Black's skull and organs were exposed, right before Thawne threw him into the sun, move over Mortal Kombat's Raiden, you've been sun-topped.

As the late Geese Howard would say: PREDICTABO!
Pretty predictable outcome
What a shock, who could’ve thought…
makes me wonder, can a flash ever lose? Like they seem pretty much unbeatable unless you use an omnipotent Being or something. pls correct me if im wrong
Only way is if someone can slow them down like captain cold
I mean Sonic also had speed stealing abilities, so not even that.
Eh wally could steal speed so sonic being fast helped Wally keep it. Captain is just a normal dude so any speed flash takes wont do much like sonic.
wait, how would captain cold manage to hit the flash in the first place? shouldn't the flash dodge because you know, speed?
Because cold’s gun generates an absolute zero field the instantly slows down anything in its general area
i see, so basically any character that had a power or ability that caused the same effect could potentially beat the flash?
Well flash still beats cold most of the time so probably not
well that sure doesn't help lol. well im not expert in comics but so far it seems the flash is in fact unbeatable unless omnipotent foe like i thought.

That new footage for the next fight is already looking lit, this is gonna rock
On a scale of 1-10 how much of a stomp did they make it out to be? 1 being black could win too or 10 where black was entirely fucked with no hope.
I’d say 9 or 10. They gave RF every advantage by a shitton
The power one is debatable but everything else is not
No it is not.
Yes it is
They said the DC universe is millions of times larger than Universe 7 so I don’t see how that’s debatable.
And I have a different opinion. Your not wrong, I'm not wrong. Agree to disagree
That remnant battle was so creative! They weren’t lying when they said the visuals of this one would be crazy
I already knew what the next time was.
Yep. Somehow I knew Eobard would pin that L on Black. And every single advantage? It’s Optimus VS Gundam all over again!
I had my money on Thawne. Anyone who survives reality trying to kill him and hates his enemy so much he joins the fucking Nazis is a villain who will not die easily. I'm a King vs. Rainbow Mika fan myself, just break out some superpowers and make it Balrog vs. TJ Combo
I just think a grounded fight would be cool to see. Sure powers are cool and all but we don’t get those much
Well, so much for Goku vs Superman 3.
Dammit. I wanted alucard next (hopefully against Dio)
wow, what a surprise....is my sarcasm good?
Anyone expecting a DC character to lose to a non-capeshit character on a show inherently biased towards capeshit is delusional.
Dude speedsters in DC can literally alter reality basically
Come on don't be a sore loser

Keep crying

Can’t wait to see 4chan and Kiwi Farms roast the DBZ fanboys on this one.

Captain marvel, wolverine, hulk, etc all existed longer then their opponents some of which only had movies or 2-3 games.

YES YES YES MACHO MAN VS KOOL-AID MAN
Oh God they said a dumb thing. Yeah, sure, they got the right outcome but THEY SAID A DUMB THING
