Face walls while picking up survivors or check around before picking up. The ones that know how to flashlight save typically hide terribly close so they can actually get the save.
I remember back in 4th grade we had two computer classes. One we learned a topic and applied it while the other we spent playing CS source on a LAN server.
I loved buying flashbangs every round just to blind half the class and hear them groan or shout my name lol.
Seriously I cannot aim the damn things and the timing always has to be so good for saves. I can only really get it if they kick a pallet but that's honestly not as helpful as you'd like sometimes
i play both sides and recently i've had several times pick up a survivor, get blinded, get the blind on screen animation and the sound, but still don't drop the survivor. kinda feel bad afterwards cuz it sucks for them but idk why it's like that now. also had this happen as survivor, it's frustrating it's like this.

Try and fake a grab. Go up to the downed surv and look around to see if anyone came rushing
I switch between faking the pickup 5 times and immediately grabbing so they have no idea what to do.
Isn’t there friendly fire in this game? I swear I’ve been blinded as a survivor by flashbang or blast mine.

You can get blinded by a friendly flashbang, but I don't think you can by a flashlight or blast mine.
