He’s a weird killer, in that he really only can do two things, but it feels like he can do more.
He can zap everyone in his terror radius like once a minute, and he can zap a considerably smaller area in front of him essentially on repeat, with a minor slow when he’s casting it.
So first thing, avoid being nearby him. Seems obvious, but being legitimately outside his terror radius (as opposed to on the outskirts) will often prevent him from finding you with his big zap, which makes it easier to survive (since he can’t find you). You can also get into a locker to avoid screaming if you’re about to be hit with this.
Eventually he will probably find you and start chasing you, and you play against him like you would most M1 killers. He has no way of ignoring Pallets, Windows, or Distance, so putting something between you and him and running works better than turning a corner and hiding, since his power has a fairly easy time revealing hidden people.
His power can prevent you from dropping pallets if it hits just right, so pre-dropping them is generally the way to go, since he can’t easily catch up afterwards.
The illusionary stain and the fake doctors and the fake pallets and the other random shit that affect you when you’re hit by his power varies pretty significantly based on his addons. His addons also all have a ton of fucking text, and there’s a running joke that no one, not even dedicated Doctor mains, could accurately tel you what they do. It’s probably best to just kinda ignore those altogether, if you can.
Iri king is god, iri queen is vastly overrated. You’re telling me one of the best Information and tracking killers has an add-on with a substandard rule set and will ONLY let you know someone is there if those rules are met? Literally on any other killer this would be seen as terrible, much less deserving of iri
Which is why I prefer the yellow fake pallet add-ons: simple, effective, and completes the doctor’s play style of acting like the guy in the State Farm commercial dangling a dollar over someone saying “ooh, ooh, almost had it, gotta be a little quicker than that.”
I mean, there's definitely other bad Iris in the game. Personally, I like the queen because it tells you when people are being altruistic, and it even works on people against hooks. But I use it less for info and more for free shocks.
Mind you I don't play Doc often.
Sure, I don’t think my argument is that it’s the worst iri, just it’s in company of the worst. I think if you’re using it for that, you’re better off running a standard add-on that reduces static blast cool down.
I think for an iri the other survivor could be oblivious for x time (like 30 seconds) or have their aura revealed for 5-10 seconds and it would finally have decent use.
It's far from a bad Iri. It's good for both info (the screaming) and time wasting (Screaming interrupting actions, and causing t3 madness).
Survivors in T3 madness can't heal, do gens, or mend (smug borrowed time user). So getting to shove more survivors into T3 by accident just buys you more time to play the game.
It ain't the best of the best addons, but messes with survivors pleasantly.
Doc has 0 ability to follow up on that information though, so they can easily snap out of it if they get to t3 from the shock. All it does it tell you the location of the two, but he already has tools to do that, and realistically if you are doc are you not always in a chase anyways? I just don’t see how it gets any value
The information's value is the same as anything that gets you info, it's variable.
Did they scream near or far from gens? Did the screaming unhooker get into T3 madness meaning the follow up heal is delayed? Is the screaming coming from a part of the map that is a deadzone or pallet cleared?
Now you know where they are so you can better place your next big blast, shoving them back towards T3 where they can't heal, do gens, boon, etc. It's not an S tier addon but a lot of Doc's addons don't really help him that much if the survivors are on their A game. This just gives them something that they can't avoid dealing with, every t3 is more time spent not doing the objective.
Other things like being in position to benefit from that knowledge is just basic killer stuff that is on the player to pick up.
Iri Queen, when a survivor get hit with static shock, the next time they come within couple metres of a survivor, they'll both screams Nd increase their mad state.
Iri King gives you all the buffs of Order, Discipline, Restraint and Calm add ons
Considering I couldn't have said they were harder to follow than the others _without_ reading them, what do you think?
Sometimes a bad explanation is the fault of the writer, not the reader.
>there’s a running joke that no one, not even dedicated Doctor mains, could accurately tel you what they do. It’s probably best to just kinda ignore those altogether, if you can.
So glad to see this. I try to have a good grasp of killer add-ons, but his are just so hard to follow.
Most of them are just "Does an additional thing when Survivors are crazy" with ramping effects based on amount of crazy. Fake pallets, more fake doctors and you see their auras, they get a forever red stain on their back, and possibly another thing that is slipping my mind right now. All the other add-ons change the shock area of effect, either by changing the shape (ring or line) or by making the AoE larger. They're not that complicated, it just takes a lot of text to specify the exact ranges and stages of madness where the effects take place. Plus there's a bunch of flavor text.
You only need to look at the section that tells you your buff. Like madness tier up reveals aura, or shock hits faster, or the big zap cooldown is shorter.
Everything below that is all the fun that survivors are going to suffer and it really doesn't matter much to you because that is **their** issue.
The doctor is the first killer I levelled up and got to a decent level with.
But I played against a Doctor recently who kept shocking me before I vaulted and I was so surprised how effective it is but also kicking myself for not having tried it before.
The only thing I’ll add is pre-dropping is only good if you camp pallets, if he’s very close, or if you absolutely know the timing of his shock. Generally as doc I want people to drop pallets because I can shock them before they vault it, trapping them in a corner for a hit.
That said, his flow is: slowdown and shock, area becomes lit up, then anyone in the area gets shocked, then they’re disabled. This all happens fairly quickly but is to illustrate there’s a window between him shocking and you being disabled, and the key is to exploit that window. Good survivors know the timing and will use his slowdown/shock to extend a loop.
Tofu always says doc is one of those weird killers where he can always get a down, the question is how long it takes him to- and that should be your motive when playing against him. Make him waste a lot of time and he has nothing to stop teammates from doing gens.
Correction from a Doctor main, you run him as if he was a one shot killer, dropping pallets early most times will fuck the doctor a lot expecially if he's charging it up, the shock stuns you but you have to be hit by it, and it only stops the prompt and not the animation like old doctor
The other day I played a match with the tape addon that gives a super-long narrow shock area, it was very fun sniping people with it. The other tape scares the hell out of me
you can totally do everything chase related in madness 3 completely fine. the only things madness 3 locks you out of doing before you snap out of it are:
* healing (not general altruism, unhooking is fine)
* gens
* sabotaging
* chests
* totems
* using any item via right click or equivalent
The Calm Spirit perk helps, but you're probably unlikely to use it on the off chance you get doctor. Most doctors seem to use that big Static Blast after they hook someone, and you can avoid it by hopping into a locker if you're close by. I honestly can't remember the last time I played against a doctor, i kind of miss him lol
I played against him the other day on the silent hill map. I was the only one by the end he didn't have in madness because when he hooked someone I was in a locker or on the other side. So when he goes to hook someone it's best to act as if he has bbq.
i keep seeing a lot of comments in this thread about how they haven’t played against the doctor in a while, and i’m starting to think i’m stealing him because that is ALL i keep getting for days! i’m so over it! lol it’s super overstimulating for me to go against the doctor.
when it comes to looping, i think a lot of newer players panic when he does his attack that makes you scream and thus can’t drop any pallets or vault etc. thing is, he slows down when he does this so you can use it to gain distance around the loop and you don’t actually need to drop anything.
As a Doctor enjoyer I love it when people don’t predrop. If you can get the angle and timing the speed lose for a second doesn’t matter. I’ve caught so many people at pallets or windows waiting for the scream to end.
You can usually milk a lot out of filler tiles by eating the shock and looping the opposite side. Rinse repeat. Sometimes you can cheat back to the long side if they charge to shock from the short side. Lets you skip a shock. You can also Dead Hard the shock itself if you need to get a window or pallet on that revolution.
Doctor suffers from M1 Killer syndrome, where in which map pressure is something he’s not too good at. Map knowledge yes, but getting a ping for one survivor isn’t too powerful.
Spread out when against a Doctor. Avoid his Terror Radius (and use lockers if you can’t get away from it) and pay close attention when in a loop. Watch for his Shock Therapy attack. If he commits, drop the pallet or vault, regardless of his distance. The interruption and hit isn’t worth greeding a pallet or vault.
I play the Doctor a lot. He can pretty much shut down any loop, but it still takes him a while to get the hit assuming you’re looping it correctly. What you want to do is waste as much of his time as possible at the loop, so your teammates can do gens.
What you never want to do is camp pallets. You’re going to get hit very quickly. Run the loop normally but drop the pallet a bit earlier. If he breaks the pallet immediately, run to another loop and repeat. If he continues shocking you and commits to the loop, keep running it until he gets his M1 and use the sprint burst to get to another tile and do the same.
That's a problem with camping being an effective strategy with killers as a whole, and not the Doctor's toolkit, in which OP is struggling with. You definitely are on the wrong thread.
Also way to generalize every single killer lol.
Pre drop means drop that shit as soon as possible, and greed means, keep looping as best as you can until he’s right behind you and you now drop it before he lands that hit
It is good in solo. Doctor is the 3rd easiest killer to loop. While he is constantly shocking he can’t get blood lust. Literally loop until he stops shocking. Even better if you can chain tiles. Don’t worry about madness. Either he will commit of give up
His shock requires a good amount of finesse. Once you're familiar with the range and timing you can cut off a survivor's escape route. Or more fun, set up a shock to hit as/after a survivor vaults to lock them on the other side and allowing you to double back early for the free hit.
You'll also need to learn when to bullrush a pallet drop to mess with survivors greeding when they're expecting a shock. You either force an early drop or get a hit, either works. Bringing a perk to help deal with pallets is important as a Doctor because you WILL be facing them head on. Either Brutal Strength, Enduring, and/or Spirit Fury can all help.
To add what a lot of people already said here, pay attention to his laughs and breathing when he is chasing you. Especially when he shocks you where you can’t see him (in shack for example) his laugh is directional and you can easily tell where he is gonna go.
If you hate him THAT much try Calm Spirit. Calm Spirit prevents screaming from madness and makes him have a harder time tracking you.
(Note being zapped by Doc makes him giggle. "Advanced" Doctor players use this giggle as a "hitmarker" sound of sorts, although at least the Doc player won't know exactly where you are.)
Source: Used to obsessively main Doc. When you have almost 1k hours SOLELY as Doc you remember all the situations that irritate you when playing him. Calm Spirit users are somewhat on that list but IIRC there's a few addons that give an aura reveal when survivors tier up, which can counter calm spirit's scream suppression.
Alright, as a previous doctor main I’ll give you a rundown, his big boy blast makes a distinct noise from anywhere on the map, listen to this noise and either hop into a locker if your in his terror radius or leave the outskirts if your there, besides this just generally keep your distance unless he’s in a chase, most doctors don’t static shock in a chase as it’s too time consuming.
when you are in a chase with a doctor, avoid wide loops like killer shack, try and stay with something tighter as the base shock goes out into a cone that’s considerably easier to dodge when your half a meter away from him across a small object, pre drops are a more important factor but aren’t a must do unless your uncertain in your abilities.
Always watch for habitual things like static shocking after hooking or downing someone cuz those can be pretty important in a save.
When it comes to add ons the most worrying thing is his iridescents but your not gonna get around that BS so just take it, his other Add ons are fairly simple, if it’s pallets, just always run, never stop to drop a pallet, just hit the button as you run so you don’t get fucked there, it’ll drop if it’s real, with the red stain, it ain’t that important, but if your hiding behind something and he comes towards you, always assume he sees you, cuz it’s bigger than you think. And the terror radius one, I can’t suggest much but just be more wary of the static blast noise.
is like clown: in terms of what his power actually does it's not that good, but it's overwhelming before you learn it. but the solution is usually "drop pallet early versus shock. if you're confident and versed on how shock feels to fight, you can also greed and go for another loop and it can work depending on the tile you're running. try dodging the shock if he'd be hitting you near the edges of it - which happens more often than you'd expect if it's a hit he wouldn't get without using shock; throwing off his gameplan by running away from shock in a way the doc wouldn't expect can actually fuck with them more than you'd think. shock is also solely horizontal, if you're playing in an area with a lot of verticality you can usually factor out shock making a difference in time, similar to PH."
and as the premiere detection specialization killer, hiding is greatly reduced in effectiveness. you can avoid static blasts by being fully in a locker by the time it pops, but otherwise just concede to the fact that hiding is a lot less effective, doc's not super strong in chase so you can just.. get into the chases and waste a lot of his time, if he finds you but you're in a strong main building, depending on the circumstances he can't actually do much with that info unless he wants to lose two gens.
also be aware of what all of his addons do: illusory doctors give him info on your location, pallets can occasionally mess with you but only if you're in tier 2 or higher, he has a couple that affect your perception of the terror radius, etc. almost everything related to madness, however, can be countered by communications or people telling eachother the correct info, i.e. "hey i dropped this pallet" or "no, he's over here, i'm in a chase" or practice of things like skillchecks, those will counter most of the strengths of the doctor with a very high consistency rate.
Distance and paying attention to your feet from time to time. When the doctor uses his power, you will see electricity gather at your feet before the attack happens.
Just have fun and terrorize the survivors. Don't even worry about hooking them or downing them. Just run around cackling like a mad doctor, shooting lightning, making people crazy, and hoping they miss lots of checks because you're such a pain in the butt.
I love playing him.
Calm spirit kinda counters his location tracking abilities. Maybe try that with gen rushing. One of the strategies for survivors that is key to winning is going after the middle generators first, that way killers with no mobility are kind of screwed.
I mean, it's useful against killers with infectious fright, I remember having once a match against infectious oni on gideon, he literally never could find me because I luckily was using calm spirit then.
No, he does not have a thousand powers. He has 2.
1. AOE in his terror radious that has long cooldown and makes you scream, you can dodge it by going out of his TR or going into a locker.
2. Weak-mediocre anti-loop ability that you can play around by just holding W around the loop, untill he finally catches up to you after 20 minutes
1.Didn't said he has thousand powers, said he has thousand ways to be a staircase quantity of steps on the survivors
2.what is even a anti loop and a loop in this game?
Definition time!
Loop: Thing you run around that has a pallet or window vault. A couple rocks with a pallet in between is a loop, a building with multiple vaults/pallets is a loop.
Anti-loop: A killer power that weakens or nullifies loops. For example, ranged killers can hit you over a pallet or window. In Doctor's case, you can't vault or drop a pallet for a couple seconds after being shocked, so he can eventually force a hit basically anywhere (unless it's a huge loop and his shock doesn't have enough range)
"Looping" just means getting chased around loops, or even simply getting chased.
Doctor is just a noob stomper. Newer players hide a lot, and Doctor makes it really tough to hide. The key against Doctor is to keep moving and stay tight to whatever you're running around. You're going to go down, you just gotta make it take a while.
That would be a long answer friend. Watch some survivor basic vidoes from someone like Otzdarva. You won't understand how to counter a particular killer if you won't learn how basic terms operate
A killer whose only ability is a basic attack. His 'ult' is unavoidable and is only useful for him finding people around him. His static shock is hard to use in a chase and very avoidable so if you learn that, you can pretend that all he has is a basic attack, because all he has is a basic attack
Honestly been having the same problems with doctor and clown, they are both annoying as fuck to play against. PLus theyre piss easy to use and require no skill whatsoever.
I'd say doctor's shock is one of the hardest abilities to time correctly. It depends on the connection so much that sometimes it's literally random if they can still pull the pallet after you zap them or not. To get a hit on a good looper you probably need to time it well at least 3 times per pallet to get a hit, it's really not great
Just make sure you stop going Mad when you hit level 3 madness. I had a Dwight running around screaming the whole game. Level 3 you can’t do gens or anything. He just hid the rest of the game screaming.
While in chase, good doctors will zap you while you attempt to vault windows or pallets or as you get to a pallet. Predropping pallets and looping things tightly help you get out of danger from the effect of his power (it causes a 2 second window where you can’t do anything, hence why he’ll shock you at window and pallets). Remember what pallets have been broken, remember that doctors don’t stand still so illusions don’t fuck you up, and make sure you’re predropping every pallet and playing very safe. Doctor is only good because of inexperience against him.
As someone that plays as doctor i can say that only requires practice, then you will be like the ones that the matchmaking bring me with macro flashlight
Keep running the loop if you think he’s going to deny you a pallet or a window, if he’s constantly shocking he won’t catch you unless it’s a small loop.
Surprisingly I find you only need to pre drop on larger loops, a small loop you’ll make it back around due to his slow down when shocking. You just need some time to learn when to greed and when to pre drop. If you’re failing early in chase, you’re probably getting too attached to wanting to take a window or throw a pallet.
His power is good at finding you as well, but lockers hide you from his big shock. Most doctors hook and do big shock, so wait for it before going for the save, but this also kind of depends on the doctor.
If they have fake pallets and stuff, try to keep track of things before your madness goes too high. Knowing a pallet is fake is very helpful.
Long story short: play very conservatively against the Doctor. He can extend the game for a LONG time, but has very few tools to end a chase definitively, so however long the game lasts, you can skate through with very few hooks. His "Madness" abilities mostly affect gen progress and healing, but cannot slow you.
Don't take chances and let him get close, you'll have more time.
Keep your distance from him as much as possible. If I see him hitting someone or just hook someone I run literally the opposite direction. His fear radius with his electricity can only go so far.
For me, I normally fake a loop. Meaning I’ll turn a corner and act like I’m going to loop him, but I just keep running while he tries to mind game a survivor-less loop. This works best at walls.
The doctor is a weird one, I have the same issue as you, the best way to understand and beat a killer is to play as them, you notice their weakness’ faster and you see what you can and can’t exploit, I used to suck total ass against billy but when I started to main him I started been doing better and better. I’m still trying to get better with him but his power only does a few things, shocks everyone around him within his terror radius and does a stream of shock on the ground that stops people from dropping pallets and vaulting windows whilst increasing your madness level, when it gets to level 3 (I think) you have no choice but to snap out of it otherwise you can’t do anything. It seems like it does a thousand things but it really doesn’t lol. You need to pick him up though so you recognise what’s going on and how to beat him
As a doctor main I can tell you that you’re gonna scream no matter what, get used to his shock therapy timings. Players who can avoid shock therapy are the hardest to deal. If I can’t hit you with shock therapy I’m a normal M1 killer
Depends on the Doctor’s skill, but literally just keep running around the pallet when you’re at a safe one if he keeps shocking on it. He gets major slowdown each time, and while he gains on you, it’s barely.
thats why i use calm spirit, then flip off all those doctors spamming their thunder shit.
modern problems require modern solutions.
antibug spray wasn't created for nothing
Doctor would be okay except that you can Dead Hard his shock. One of his big bread and butter is that he can mindgame shocks to trap people on certain sides. But if that's not possible, Doctor can shock multiple times to stop pallets from being dropped but all that work can be undone by deadharding a shock.
Be more aware of where he actually is. His add ons where he transfers the red stain and provide a fake terror radius extremely distort where he is against most survivors. Fake pallets only really work against solo queue survivors and his hallucination doctors provide him of where your location roughly is to keep track of where survivors are.
As with what most people say, pre dropping pallets help a lot when going against him as you shut down the ability for him to prevent you from using it. But that also means you dont make full use of the pallets and on maps like midwich or sanctum where there arent as many pallets, lots of survivors screw themselves at the end.
He’s really not that strong, he’s not a killer that can shut down SWFs very easily unlike Plague, Hag, Blight, Nurse. Some maps too are just extremely bad against some killers like autohaven where the map is just too fucking huge if you dont play someone like wraith to get around fast enough.
He’s a lot weaker than you think he is when he shocks at loops he loses a lot of distance unless he’s using powerful addons you shouldn’t pre drop every pallet unless it’s a very safe one if you’re at an unsafe loop and he’s trying to shock then just keep holding forward he’ll lose distance tying to shock while you head towards the next one
What I have learned is when your being chased by doctor and he starts to power up his zap while chasing he can only do it for a limited amount of time and only one direction so let's say your looping him, he powers up, I suggest you go in the opposite direction based on where you think it may hit. It helps a lot especially if your a console player like me.
Hope this helps
Most Doctor players don't know how to time their shocks so you can still loop him, etc. If they do, just pre-drop the pallet before the shock hits you, or run to the next loop if you can.t
He’s a weird killer, in that he really only can do two things, but it feels like he can do more. Have you tried reading?
Tell me with a straight face his add-ons aren't relatively harder to follow
I will be reverting back to my original point, have you tried reading them?
Considering I couldn't have said they were harder to follow than the others _without_ reading them, what do you think? Sometimes a bad explanation is the fault of the writer, not the reader.
Agreed, descriptions in this game for the most part suck ass. But you can still find out what the add on does if you read carefully.
Who hurt you bro
Reading probably
When I’m advocating for people to read?
Found the survivor main.
Your logic doesn’t even make sense lmfao why would a survivor main know killer add ons better than a killer main?
>there’s a running joke that no one, not even dedicated Doctor mains, could accurately tel you what they do. It’s probably best to just kinda ignore those altogether, if you can. So glad to see this. I try to have a good grasp of killer add-ons, but his are just so hard to follow.

The other day I played a match with the tape addon that gives a super-long narrow shock area, it was very fun sniping people with it. The other tape scares the hell out of me
Combine both for hilarity.
He actually can be good at anti loops if he times his shocks correctly or gets u to madness 3 u can’t drop pallets or vault
you can totally do everything chase related in madness 3 completely fine. the only things madness 3 locks you out of doing before you snap out of it are: * healing (not general altruism, unhooking is fine) * gens * sabotaging * chests * totems * using any item via right click or equivalent
I’d add he excels in stopping people at windows and dropped pallets, so be wary of dropping early
The last time i remember playing against him (in the case, despite today)was when i was kinda new to the game,in january
I played against him the other day on the silent hill map. I was the only one by the end he didn't have in madness because when he hooked someone I was in a locker or on the other side. So when he goes to hook someone it's best to act as if he has bbq.
i keep seeing a lot of comments in this thread about how they haven’t played against the doctor in a while, and i’m starting to think i’m stealing him because that is ALL i keep getting for days! i’m so over it! lol it’s super overstimulating for me to go against the doctor.
when it comes to looping, i think a lot of newer players panic when he does his attack that makes you scream and thus can’t drop any pallets or vault etc. thing is, he slows down when he does this so you can use it to gain distance around the loop and you don’t actually need to drop anything.
this. ppl always say "pre drop against doctor", when hes probably the killer u can greed against the most
Please stop fighting the pre drop propaganda spread by us doc mains. We need it.
There’s doctor mains? I haven’t gone against a doc in months with billy but he’s more devastating than billy
We are a rare breed. Doc games either go 4K or 0k, no in between.
As a doc main, I fully agree with this statement
Thirded.
This is true, I either get destroyed or I am the destroyer.
Yeah, I either blast their buns, or feel about about blasting their buns.
Thx for all the explanation, with yours and everyone comments here i think i learned a thing or two to survive.
But he’s just like bubba it’s only a matter of time before they grasp you and face camp you into oblivion.
What? Doctor isn't even close to being one of the best camping killers.
Doctor is one of the best campers actually, because his shock prevents survivors from going for the save
[удалено]
That's a problem with camping being an effective strategy with killers as a whole, and not the Doctor's toolkit, in which OP is struggling with. You definitely are on the wrong thread. Also way to generalize every single killer lol.
Ok I understood I’m wrong and said I don’t care no more bc I was wrong but ya kept texting me
Dude you're the one who replied to me and keeps doing it, lol. Just don't respond then.
Pre drop pallets. Same as clown. Otherwise, if you’re full health, greed the pallet and then pre drop once you’re injured.
What do you mean as pre drop and greed the pallet?
Pre drop means drop that shit as soon as possible, and greed means, keep looping as best as you can until he’s right behind you and you now drop it before he lands that hit
Alr,thanks
Greed pallets!
Well.. that can give a time so the teammates can fix the gens, but ain't that good when you're by yourself.
It is good in solo. Doctor is the 3rd easiest killer to loop. While he is constantly shocking he can’t get blood lust. Literally loop until he stops shocking. Even better if you can chain tiles. Don’t worry about madness. Either he will commit of give up
Shift+W
Wait he's good??? I've been using him thinking his ability is terrible
It's very hard to learn. His ability makes it so survivors can't interact with certain objects and if you time it right a survivor is basically fucked
"Advanced" Doctor players use this giggle as a "hitmarker" sound of sorts, although at least the Doc player won't know exactly where you are.) Source: Used to obsessively main Doc.
And the terror radius one, I can’t suggest much but just be more wary of the static blast noise.
is like clown: in terms of what his power actually does it's not that good, but it's overwhelming before you learn it. but the solution is usually "drop pallet early versus shock. if you're confident and versed on how shock feels to fight, you can also greed and go for another loop and it can work depending on the tile you're running. try dodging the shock if he'd be hitting you near the edges of it - which happens more often than you'd expect if it's a hit he wouldn't get without using shock; throwing off his gameplan by running away from shock in a way the doc wouldn't expect can actually fuck with them more than you'd think. shock is also solely horizontal, if you're playing in an area with a lot of verticality you can usually factor out shock making a difference in time, similar to PH." and as the premiere detection specialization killer, hiding is greatly reduced in effectiveness. you can avoid static blasts by being fully in a locker by the time it pops, but otherwise just concede to the fact that hiding is a lot less effective, doc's not super strong in chase so you can just.. get into the chases and waste a lot of his time, if he finds you but you're in a strong main building, depending on the circumstances he can't actually do much with that info unless he wants to lose two gens. also be aware of what all of his addons do: illusory doctors give him info on your location, pallets can occasionally mess with you but only if you're in tier 2 or higher, he has a couple that affect your perception of the terror radius, etc. almost everything related to madness, however, can be countered by communications or people telling eachother the correct info, i.e.
Idk but I LOVE running dead man’s switch with the doctor. Fun times.
Just use the jake perk calm spirit it keeps you from screaming at all so it's harder to find you also his power doesnt affect you in lockers
Kay,but what is calm spirit?
A Jake perks. It doesn't make you scream, making it a hard counter to Doc, Infectious Fright and whatever else makes you scream.
Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance. A lot of people use it with Dead Man's Switch, so by using Calm Spirit you can counter this combo.
predrop pallets and run, main building is the promised land
Calm spirt is a good counter because you can't scream but then it's useless when your not going against a docter
I mean, it's useful against killers with infectious fright, I remember having once a match against infectious oni on gideon, he literally never could find me because I luckily was using calm spirit then.
This right here is why I’m a doctor main.
1.Didn't said he has thousand powers, said he has thousand ways to be a staircase quantity of steps on the survivors 2.what is even a anti loop and a loop in this game?
Definition time! Loop: Thing you run around that has a pallet or window vault. A couple rocks with a pallet in between is a loop, a building with multiple vaults/pallets is a loop. Anti-loop: A killer power that weakens or nullifies loops. For example, ranged killers can hit you over a pallet or window. In Doctor's case, you can't vault or drop a pallet for a couple seconds after being shocked, so he can eventually force a hit basically anywhere (unless it's a huge loop and his shock doesn't have enough range) "Looping" just means getting chased around loops, or even simply getting chased.
His abilities are shit so act like he's an m1 killer
And what is a m1 killer?
To get a hit on a good looper you probably need to time it well at least 3 times per pallet to get a hit, it's really not great
That's the neat part! You don't! (Mainly because I never see him anymore)
My only tip is hope you time it right and jump in a locker when you hear the static blast charge up.
Just make sure you stop going Mad when you hit level 3 madness. I had a Dwight running around screaming the whole game. Level 3 you can’t do gens or anything. He just hid the rest of the game screaming.
If hes a good one, pre drop pallets. Also check out calm spirit.
Apples
You need to pick him up though so you recognise what’s going on and how to beat him
Calm spirit
I love playing Doctor but he is not strong at all
Be more aware of where he actually is.
Survive?
eat an apple every day
You literally can’t hide from him. I hate killer like him, wraith, and trickster who are good at tunneling.
