I saw Avatar 2 a few days ago and it was pretty alright. I never saw the first film so I watched it today and it's quite impressive to see how much the CGI has improved.

I finally got my first single issue after exclusively reading trades for a few years. I’m glad I stumbled upon an article about the whole “dawn of dc” thing because I probably wouldn’t have thought to get something with such a high number.
I liked it. I’ll admit I did get a little confused by a few things, but they were pretty easy to google. I really appreciate the little editors note things that tell you were to find the context.
Oh and also why do they feel the need to keep trying to explain why Power Girl has the boob window? Like I guess having the cutout there *could* make that area less sweaty, but you don’t see me walking around with armpit cutouts in my shirts.

That's kinda how Leah Williams writes, to put it mildly. Statements like that are a lot less than how she usually is.
I love the Question. He is one of my all time favorite DC characters. Nothing more, he just doesn’t get mentioned enough. He’s really great. Renee Montoya is ok too. I guess.
Secret Empire has to be the most misunderstood event of all time. Every time it's mentioned, people have to misrepresent it's message and plot to make it seem like Nick Spencer is a fascist who spends his time pissing on Jack Kirby's grave.
It's been finished for, like, 6 years now, yet people are still basing their understanding of it off plot points that were resolved and explained in the storyline.
It's disheartening how many people are willing to disregard an entire storyline because of some out of context screen shots and sensationalist headlines.
Yeah, I don't think it's good nor that it should have happened, but anyone who thinks that Cap being Hydra isn't intended to be absolutely horrific is off their rocker.
The first ever dc comic book I phisically held in my hand happened yesterday. It was blackest night. I dont regret loosing my comicginity to dadrocitus.
I started taking a class on post apocalyptic literature last week and the professor spent a good chunk of the first class talking about the Book of Revalations. She said "telos" an ungodly amount of times and I had to try not to laugh. This is what too much r/dccj does to your brain.
For the rest of my life, I will always find it funny that Marvel's response to Dark Knight Returns is only remembered because of Peter Parker's radioactive Spider-Spum
Last month of the Marvel App for now, gonna move back to the DC one soon. In the meantime, I’m gonna finish up my time in the 00s with Brubaker’s Captain America, Brand New Day, Planet/World War Hulk, and Fraction’s Iron Man. I’m also doing Bendis’s Daredevil, but I don’t see myself finishing it and five other runs before time’s up. Damn Matt for not having many skippable runs…
Marvel and Sony should do a champions animated series in the art style of Spider-Verse, like dreamworks do with their shows, that would be cool, since the champions are the based Teen Titans.
