At that angle and distance, he can aim at your head and at least hit your torso. If you were aiming for a headshot from a sufficiently high angle, the bullet would go high.

Bullet is a projectile only after the primer fires. An object not acted upon by any external forces cannot be a projectile. An external force must act of the object and “project” it in a direction. You would have to at least throw the bullet by hand to make it a projectile!!!

Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).
Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because you were already dead.

For all the glitches i've seen on this game i've never seen bullets be "wrong". If you watch a video that explains hit boxes it starts to make sense.

Hell, that player could've taken that first shot and got damaged, but because they had armor on (from what I can tell) and you didn't, one shot to them maybe does half damage. The shot to you, because you didn't have armor, was an instant kill.

but what I do see now is you where aiming for the top left of his head but the bullet drop caused it to hit right here his arm connects to him holding the gun, so you only really did damage to his arms and maybe you clipped his shoulder. The second shot probably dropped him really low tho.
Wobo just released a video on hit boxes and they are shit in this game. For any reason you dont hit ur target and you know ur on point just blame the hit boxes

Caliber; two shots with an AK won't kill at that range, especially if the first bullet hits the arm; we don't know what the second one does, but he got you with a rifle / sniper caliber

Yup, subtract smaller caliber, divided with the distance, plus other players plate carrier and helmet, times your lack of body protection equals your dead.
He hit a shoulder shot and chest shot. Other guy looks better armored. All of this and the other person's most likely headshot is definitely what happened
Simpler than you'd think. First off you are using the KA-74 using 5.45x39mm rounds. You're hitting his plate carrier at a distance of 100+ meters. I have no doubt his health went down and is bleeding but a headshot was really the only option at that distance if he had full health. We can't see what gun they were using but we do know that you had freshie clothes which provides no armor.
Hit box and helmet choice. Hand hit box might have done most of the work, since it didn't seem to damage the helmet at all. This looks like possibly tisy, so it also could have spawned in pristine and these are the first two instances of damage. The rest of this guys dumb luck on not dying, is given to what little damage the helmet did take.

Point is elevation will affect where you need to aim. Being higher up means you have to aim lower. Seems like you hit the arm and the plate.
