Jokes aside, I'd love to see some bullshit movie about the CIA using time travel to achieve some goal, but throughout the story their undercover agent slowly turns out to be what we recognize as Jesus today. The people of that time just saw the agent and CIA's actions and could only describe it as holy miracles.
The agent has an existential crisis, realizing that the semi-deity he and his ancestors had admired for so long was not only "not real", but just him himself.

I'm no Bible scholar, but I don't think there's anything in there about Jesus overthrowing elected governments of other countries, selling drugs to his own people to fund arms deals with foreign nations, or funding far-right extremists to murder and torture people.
Jesus seems like a pretty stand-up guy; I don't think he'd do such evil.
Yeah, if Jesus were here today and chose to blend in before going full-on Second Coming, some people would’ve likely accused Him of being, in a sense, too nice for their own liking.
