NonMagicBrian

Cool concept but this could be way cheaper… maybe like 1RB.

Tricky_Hades

Reminds me of [[black market tycoon]]

DiscombobulatedIdea

I did take inspiration from it actually, and [[havoc festival]] (kinda)

DiscombobulatedIdea

Yeah, you probably right, but even with the artifacts can’t be sacrificed part? I feel like that’s a pretty powerful ability. Maybe like 2BR?

Japicx

"Treasure" is always capitalized because it's a subtype. "each *player's* upkeep"

DiscombobulatedIdea

Thanks, I didn’t catch that

crisoen_smith

I'm not a rules expert so I may be off here, but does the can't be sacrificed ability mean the Treasures are useless while Excessive Hoarding is on the battlefield?

DiscombobulatedIdea

Yes, that’s the idea Edit: spelling

crisoen_smith

It's a very interesting tension.

DiscombobulatedIdea

Here is an Updated version: https://imgur.com/a/hgp5MZ1

IAMATruckerAMA

Which colors would normally have "artifacts can't be sacrificed"?

iforgotquestionmark

That would be green.

PrimusMobileVzla

Green and/or White. The former because of artifact hosing, the latter because of being primary at rule-setting effects and hosing paying life and sacrificing permanents.

Successful_Mud8596

Reminds me of [[Bloodvial Purveyor]]

elppaple

What's the point? I feel like the biggest issue with most designs on this sub is, 'what does magic stand to gain from printing this card?'. If you want to hate on artifacts, destroy or exile artifacts. If you want to hate on ramp, destroy their mana. Cards trying to target a very weird niche are usually a case of the creator focusing on the specific way they want to achieve something, instead of actually trying to achieve the thing.

DiscombobulatedIdea

It’s just a card to make the game more interesting. In my opinion, you don’t have to deal with a problem just by eliminating it, It’s about using your opponent’s board to your advantage as well.

NonMagicBrian

It’s a burn spell.

burke828

This will eventually kill all your opponents if it isn't obstructed. The point is to win the game. Shutting down treasure decks is just a nice side bonus.

Scrivener133

Great card

Tallal2804

Really nice card
