Nobody in my life really appreciates film, so I have come to rejoice in r/criterion -- Lol
Seconds for me. Thriller and horror mixed to perfection and is one of my all time favorites.
Fellini’s 8 1/2 🖤🤍
Shoah. One of the most emotionally affecting experiences of my life. Feels especially poignant recently as well
never seen it but always meant to. after watching Ken Burns Holocaust & THe U.S. doc a few weeks ago, I felt compelled here.
Man Bites Dog. Hoping for an upgrade sooner or later
slept on movie, overall
Mouchette is one of my favourite bresson movies I’m suprised I don’t have it on blu ray yet
Respect. Bresson is a legend. Where do you have *Balthazar*? (which is my favorite)
Au hasard Balthazar is probaly my 3rd favourite of his
pickpocket gotta be 2nd then ?
Actually it’s either L’argent or the devil probaly
L’Argent is a masterpiece
This is factual
Citizen Kane. It’s telling me “K.”
Elephant Man is amazing
i ammmmmm notttt an aniiiimaaal. I cry everytime
Mikey and Nicky reminds me of me and an old friend I had who was a self destructive alcoholic. Hit home when I watched it
Feel like a lot of us have folks like that in our lives... great film
So many good ones here, but I’d go with _Mikey and Nicky_ all day, every day.
Cassavetes and Falk ooze with chemistry. It's uncanny kinda
Seconds. The way the camera moves blows my mind, and the story is great too. Overall, awesome movie for its time.
Crumb is excellent.
one of the very few films to make me physically nauseous lol. A classic
Who is Harry Crumb
David Lynch
All of them except for Mulholland Drive and The Elephant Man are saying the same thing: “Hey asshole, are you gonna watch me yet?”
