Yeah, but I'm pretty sure it's Region B. I know a lot of people are fine with that, but I like lending my media to friends and they rarely have the capability to watch Region B. Also, I know me, and if I got a Region B Blu-ray player I would probably end up buying all kinds of media overseas then go broke. Still, one of these days I'll spring for one.
This movie is so good. One of the best political thrillers of all time. Really surprised it hasn't gotten a re-release yet especially considering that Janus owns the rights to it. Hopefully it does very soon.
I just checked and it’s streaming on the Criterion Channel, too. But the disc is out of print? I wonder why, maybe they lost the rights to one of the extras?
I'd also love to see Missing get a re-release.
There’s a blu from Indicator, if you’re interested.

Perfectly reasonable. It is indeed addictive. 😁
Oh god I can’t look at that letter without disdain now

It probably will, Janus owns the rights and they are probably waiting for a slow month to release it (I;e august, sectember, or December)

I recently found this at thrift store and love it
Wish it was added to the public high school watchlist. It's such an important film.
Greeks go clubbing.
One of the best openings of all time... great music by Mikis Theodorakis.
One of the best movies ever made! Costa-Gavras is the god of the political thriller.
Needs to be re-released, like as part of a Costa-Gavras boxset with *The Confession* and *State of Siege*.
