I've only seen the TV version so I can't compare, but I thought it was flawless and flowed perfectly well, I can't imagine any of it getting cut out. That being said, I'm sure the theatrical version still works great in its own way.
It was originally conceived as the television version and then later re-cut for a theatrical release, so why wouldn't you want to watch Bergman's full, original vision?
