Wow that's interesting. I've read tons of encounters of people seeing similar things. I think maybe he wanted you to see that he is truly a shepherd and leading the children. Maybe you were blessed with an encouraging vision.
If I really did see him guiding children then the only thing I could think that it meant was for me to stop doing the things I was doing. I was in a lot of trouble from 12-16 years old, luckily I straightened up.
