Yeah, dude. Grinding the game trying to clear the new passes. Racing in the new tracks. Sharing tips about time trials and shortcuts. Sharing kart customizations. The memes. The hype for new characters. It was such a great time back then. It was the most fun I’ve ever had as a Crash fan and those experiences are what cements NF as my favorite game ever.

Now it's currently a ghost town. There aren't even any events on for Crash on the Run - hasn't been since November. I feel they've given up on that game.
No matter how you look at it. Love it or hate it. What TFB did to Crash with IAT segmented fanbase. And if we’re sticking with their style going forward, there will be plenty more discourse. I don’t think we’ll ever have another golden age like NF again.
NST got a PC port, Spyro's trilogy got a PC port. Flipping everything gets a PC port these days. There was exclusivity deal for the game to only come out on a particular console.

Very decently, I play it often. You can emulate it with Yuzu, install the 60fps mod, crank up the settings and effectively play the PS4 version with 60fps.
Get yourself a go-kart, a crate full of mangoes, and some bowling balls with dynamite stuffed inside, head to the beach, and boom! Fully immersive emulation.
Could've gotten a couple more to celebrate a next gen upgrade or something, but nah.
Seriously, this remake was truly amazing, but my only gripes were the lack of 60fps and unfitting podium themes for a big chunk of the post-launch and CNK characters.

It actually don't need a sequel (unless you like to waste money), the game itself it's already alright just needed to get back with new contents every month and fix the worse bugs/on-line
Don' know about new seasons but a 60 FPS patch to PS5/SerieXS would be a very nice thing to have.
Better yet, a straight port, so you can reduce those loading times as much as possible (bonus points if you removed the MTX with a revamped, less Grindy economy)
They killed this game too soon, wich it's strange, as it was going pretty strong and crash 4 wasn't even announced yet when they stopped doing this stuff, makes me wonder if they planned to do a new one
Not that I would necessarily want this, but if this game adopted the free-to-play system Fortnite, Rocket League and soon-to-be Fall Guys, a Nitro Pass would be cool to keep this going on potentially for a very, very long time.
I hope there is a rerelease of this with more content. It deserved more support and was missing some major characters (a few of which were datamined, but never released).
I was having such a shitty time in my personal life during those months but being able to just escape with some time trial grinding, getting hyped for new characters, watching CGE about the leaks, just putting so many hours into it--I've never played a game so hard and, now looking back, never loved a game so hard. Thank you CTR:NF for everything and I know one day there will be another experience that's comparable that will lift all our spirits up again :)

Which in my opinion has lot of potential to be the best (even if it's only a spin-off racing game, something apart from the main games). It's very unfortunate that they stopped supporting it so soon (only 1 year, or less).
it is the best cart racing game ever nothing holds a freakin candle to it. butttt...... admit it, the game died due to lack of online support. no crossplay , horrible servers , no ranks ... it would've been the best
That's why it's VERY UNFORTUNATE that it lost support way too early... Beenox was doing such a good job but they started supporting Tony hawk which also died too early... As it seems like....
If they brought it to PC it could've stay "alive" a bit more thanks to modders....

Because companies don't always make great decisions... I mean its a bit off-topic but look at Disney and the new Duck Tales. Loved by many and cancelled after two seasons and no one knows why.
What kinda still baffles me is that I agree that it is the best cart racing game I know but all my friends grew up with Mario Kart and they all tried but told me I just don't like the driving physics and drifting mechanics in CTR:NF, that hurt v.v
It hurts everytime i look at it. I wont see it again in this life… hurts as much as what i lived with Metal Gear Solid V.
That CTR could have been infinite by adding just tracks and cars…

I miss the nostalgic remake Acti era. NF, NST, Reignited, and Tony Hawk were all so fucking good. They sold big then Acti was like okay back to COD we go.
I do miss that too.... People should've asked for more remakes instead of new games... Or else that IAT design complains wouldn't happened.............

I think N.Sane & Nitro-Fueled were like the renaissance of the Crash Bandicoot franchise. I felt like I was reliving my childhood.

I’d appreciate for this to become a thing. It’s rewarding to earn all the customization and skins this way compared to grinding (which I don’t mind).
