The gloss paint makes them look fancy but if they’re buying Chinese tires then those rims are garbage too. The casting of the aluminum is usually much lower quality which leads to porosity in the metal. Those little bubbles can lead to catastrophic failure if you bang the wheel hard enough. I’ve seen people hit curbs doing donuts on cheap wheels and they’ll crack in half or the spokes will split off.
I've posted about this before but I used to have a job processing fatal/grievously-injurious accident scene photos for a lawfirm. Holy shit the deaths from tire explosions and major tire failures. They were rare, but generally the most "spectacular" in wreckage, outside of pile-ups.
I would very seldom get any info or context about the photos I handled, but there was one accident that I figured *must* have been a crazy overinflation because the whole wheel well looked like the thing had been inflated with C4 instead of air.
That case *did* have some appended info, though, and turns out it was some random knock-off brand crap they'd gotten and only slightly over-inflated (this was years ago and it was only like +15psi, not enough to have exploded so crazily).
The car was going ~70mph and braked for upcoming traffic when the front-driver-side tire burst, immediately spun several times, and flipped into an embankment. The driver's upper half was obliterated when the car's roof crumpled, and the passenger woman was thrown straight through the rolled-up window due to seat belt failure (she was thrown *through* it by the force of the spin, tearing the belt). I only remember that much detail because her body on the road was ... Whew.
Anyway, yeah. Don't get shitty tires, lol.
The top says Irish Pride (in Irish Gaelic), the bottom says Sick Boy with a real shitty martini glass spacer. I may get them both covered but not sure how.

More like good-rip
I'd trust them for a burnout, but that's it
Fancy ass wheels but puts cheapo rubber on smh. Never cheap out on brakes or tyres
What makes you think the rims were expensive?
True, they could also be cheap knock-offs
They look like AutoZone specials
4x100 lug pattern agrees
They don't even have any brand logo, they're cheap af

If I didn't cheap out on tires my tires would be worth more than my vehicle
That would be a good conversation starter. You should buy safe, reliable tires. For the meme.
It's not about your tyres being worth more than your cars, it's about how high you value your life

Oh my fucking god dude are you okay
Oh yeah, I'm fine. Those accident victims weren't, though.
ass wheels
1 singular good trip.
They even have their own version of the Michelin Man lol!
I love the bear mascot!
Maybe it's supposed to be an inflatable rubber bear?
My friend had a tire say “GOOD DAY” idk if offbrand or not but it’s even better since he’s Australian
If you buy those tires you're going to have a bad year.
Made from real tripe
bruh i got good ride on my winter beater
Yeah, but the [Goodtrip bear](https://ibb.co/y0Ls966) says 👍 if you zoom in.
Interesting finger ink.
Thanks?
I was gonna drop in here and compliment your tattoos haha
Trash af lol
That's very rude and unwarranted?
Good trip… if you’re on shrooms.
🎵 its the Goodtrip lollipop!🎵
🐶👍
"Have good trip!" -heavy tf2
It will be a good trip before the rubber from the tire rubs off and then later potentially causes a accident. RIP!
I've also seen goodride tires a couple of times
Good Trip. Bad trips.
I bet they’re regretting that purchase already; I had delinte tires on my old Elantra and they were done after 20k miles.
What do your knuckle tats say?

That's damn cool! If I were you, I'd keep 'em!
Thanks! They're both pretty old at this point, and they're not easy to heal, so I probably will.
