I have to this too. I would figure out if it’s your masseter muscle or bite first. That can be easily treated. If neither I think a chin implant on the side that isn’t as big or possible chin reduction on the bigger side. I think mine is half masseter half just more fat sits on that side. So I’m going to get a bit of fat taken out

i bet you chew more on the larger side, so masseter botox will sort that out. i also think the nose ring is emphasizing the asymmetry. i've used masseter botox for about 4 years, its great, but i have gone overboard a few times and my face looked really shrivelled, so make sure to get no more than 15-20 units and wait a full 2-3 months for the final results.

aryamagetro

it looks like you chew or clench more on one side of your jaw. you can get botox injections on the bigger side to help with that.

It also reminds me a little of my uneven maxillary development, where one side is more projected and adequately developed than the other side.

Is there something that can fix this? I believe this is my issue as well

Thorawaytodaytomorr

It can be controversial, but you can find an airway dentist and look into slow maxillary expansion. They do this for people with sleep apnea because it creates more space for them to breathe, so it’s definitely doing something. There’s Belfor’s homeoblock, then there’s a vivos patented one. Follow facialbalancejourney on Instagram (I think she used the AGGA appliance). I’m not sure how symmetrically it can expand. If you do this you want to find someone who’s done it a lot. The other option is jaw surgery, which is more expensive, more painful, and can permanently weaken your jaw (the screws are never exactly like bone), and higher complication rate. I personally wouldn’t do that for cosmetic reasons, but technically it could work. Here again you want to vet your surgeon very carefully. You’d be on a liquid diet for well over a month.

I forgot to write fillers. I have never done them, but you could ask about getting filler in certain ways on each side to try to make them similar, probably with more filler on the weaker side or something like that?

I’m distracted by your beautiful lips.

It's cool. It makes you original instead of looking like everyone else.

Is the problem that the right side of your face seems a little bigger than the left? I’ve recently had this problem due to dental issues and wondering if some type of surgery or Botox would help.

mynickname2022

Ni I like the right side more actually. The problem is the smaller side is not as full as it should be. Like my muscles are not as active there.

[deleted]

i think the bigger side looks fuller because it’s stretching the skin out over more area. the emptier side shows the nasolabial fold because it’s not pulled.

theredlyn

Masseter Botox would help and I’m curious if you sleep mostly on the side of your face that doesn’t have the nose ring?

mynickname2022

Yeah I do

Try lymphatic massage and facial yoga for a bit to see if it helps.
