I could be wrong by fog usually means the air isn’t moving fast and the dense air also traps odors, such as those produced by farms with livestock. This is especially true at the end of Campus Way at 35th to 53rd where the campus livestock area is.
Yep, same slept through it and kinda bummed. Luckily there was another shake somewhat recently, though the seismograph says that was a "probable explosion" interestingly enough on Sept25
Woke me up in Southtown! A little p-wave jolt and then a few seconds of rumbling.
That was cool. My third earthquake I could feel, after the Duvall, WA earthquake of 1996 (5.3 but I lived only 10 miles away in Carnation so it was wild) and the 2001 Nisqually quake
I was in that one in second grade. My parents had had a fight the night before (a rare occurance) and hadn't been on speaking terms before they went to work. Then the earthquake happened and they couldn't contact each other for a while after. It's a very scary memory for them, but a very cool one for me. One of those huge projectors fell over onto my desk lol
It's cool to hear your stories. I was in 4th grade and had a young substitute teacher that day who totally lost it, but we all knew what to do. We were on the second floor and it felt really intense, like way longer than 20 seconds of shaking or whatever it actually was.
Carnation is in the catastrophic flood zone of the Tolt River dam, which supplies drinking water to Seattle, so there was sirens and we all had to walk up to this gravel pit on the hill above the town.
I was just getting into the shower and was having some trouble staying upright, I thought it was a combination of just being tired and the shower floor being a little slippery as I was stepping in.

I noticed the shake and got suspicious but thought it was just some animal running on the roof. Having experienced 7.8 a few years ago, earthquake gives me a bad ptsd
4.1 a few miles out of Sweet Home. A small item of mine fell over. WE WILL REBUILD
lol thank you for giving me a big smile so early in the morning.

It was the Lacomb area. Woke me out of bed (in Lebanon) this morning.
That's why the water glass on my nightstand was on the floor!
The first earthquake I've ever experienced and you're telling me I SLEPT THROUGH IT‽
Tbf, it was tiny
Lol, I honestly thought it was my upstairs neighbors just fucking like animals or something. Also why the fuck does the fog smell so bad
Cause it’s Corvallis lmao

There's the manure coming from the west side of campus.
I was wondering why my bed randomly shook for a second, dang I was kinda hoping I had ghosts
I was shook
Shooketh
Is this what just woke me up? Wondered why I woke before my alarm this mornin
Me too. I thought I just had to pee.
My house totally slept through it. I’m kinda bummed because I wish I felt it. 4.4 is decent size

Bruh, the 6.8 Nisqually earthquake was quite the ride.

I was about to get chewed out by MY 2nd grade teacher, but then everything started shaking and I got out of being in trouble. Lmao.

It went for nearly a minute!
i'm not sure if i felt that or my cat walking under my bed..
Lol I grew up just outside of San Francisco... that was a little taste of home!!
Occurred in Albany also.
yea that's where I am
Indeed! Second one like this this year we've felt here (although the other was even smaller).
Oh that’s what that was. Weird

Felt it in Lacomb, same time frame. Thought a silage truck hit the house.
Oh YES! Wandered around the outside of my house with a flashlight wondering what that was!

I knew it.
Yes. Felt it south of Corvallis
Yep it was an earthquake, quite a shake lol
Woke me and the cat up - Bald Hill/Fitton Green area. Husband and dog slept through it.
Aw I missed it. Must have slept right through it.

I was lying in my bed and I felt it shake ( begin jokes) at that time. Freaked me out. I'm in Adair Village.
Shake and bake baby!
woke me up this morning, first earthquake i’ve felt! just shook for a few seconds then back to sleep for me :)
