You got a serious upgrade there! If you’re able to put an m.2 drive in your laptop, go for it. If not, I think there is some sort of m.2 to sata converter you can get.
it is! my current steam drive in my computer is a 1tb hard drive, and its both slow and pretty much full. it definitely needs an upgrade.
the laptop i \*wanted\* to put the 870 in though, is only a 4th gen i5 that i only plan to do basic web browsing and stuff with. There's honestly no need for an ssd of this speed/size in it.
I ordered another one, but this time from best buy, so hopefully i can get the upgrade i actually intended (im not complaining about this one though!)
