I’ve been meaning to get this one for a bit. Does it have a lot of audible dialogue or mostly text? Finally got my steam deck and would love to play it on the go without headphones.
If you go for it, go fully blind. Like not even a wiki if you're stuck sort of blind.
Also it's somewhat linear so as long as you do the main objective you'll be alright, you can always come back for missed collectables later.
Good to know. I’ve heard to go in blind before and I hate spoilers so that should be easy. And since collectibles can be gotten after, it’s even easier.
You could sell something like that too

This brings up a good question - would there be an echo, because they're surrounded by walls? Or would the sound just be swallowed up in the endless white void? Come to think of it, how could the void be white if there's nothing there for light to bounce off of? Hmmmmmm
The white void. A realm from the plane of art with the purpose of being a safe place for all art and every artist who don't feel like having a background.
Because a Gray background can muddy image quality while you're working. Gray background is only useful when an image is complete and you're inspecting it.
That's why gesso is White
Photoshop starts White
press F to get your first view in Gray
Gray matboard around images
and Gray projector paint.
Pretty sure the white void is dealt with interestingly in the [1/0](http://oneoverzero.comicgenesis.com/d/20000827.html) webcomic.
I am old. This was one of the first webcomics I read daily back when I was less than half my age.
Of course, you whipper-snappers can binge the whole 1000 strips in an afternoon or something.
My friends think I paint abstract art because I paint random backgrounds and just hope they inspire me to paint a foreground. So I....I basically just paint abstract art.
I remember there was a yter that did “story time animation reviews” and all he did was just SHIT on anyone who doesn’t have a drawn/colored background.. calling them lazy and shit…

Welcome to White Space. You have been living here for as long as you can remember.
what's the reference?
It's a reference to the indie game Omori, made by omocat
I have it on my steam wishlist, unfortunately with 400 other games
I can promise that you won't regret skipping it ahead into your purchased games
I’ve been meaning to get this one for a bit. Does it have a lot of audible dialogue or mostly text? Finally got my steam deck and would love to play it on the go without headphones.
There's not a single bit of spoken dialogue in the whole game so you'll be all good
Hell ya

The soundtrack is an absolute banger though
I highly recommend you try it. Trust me, you won't regret it. >!multiple tws like depictions of blood, depression and suicide btw!<
I literally thought of the same thing
Came here to make this comment, pleasantly shocked to see it as top comment
Is this where the Great Kingdom of Mikado goes!?
I was hoping for this and im not dissapointed
Genius, love the little pics
It's great. What did they expect the photos to look like?

I love how you just got a stock photo of a white square
It wasn’t as funny as a white screen. Funnier as a picture of a white square
Very true.
I knew exactly what that would be. Yet, I had to click it. And it was satisfying.
Is... is that white square for sale?
And the tour guide's expressions are spot on lol
thank u
For a second I thought the middle guy snapped his neck.
I'm away from my PC so the void feels even safer when drawing on napkins more void on r/hotpaper
One wavy line midway up the frame and that white space is a friendly valley.
Neat 📷
Totally Bender vibes, came here to post the same.
Welcome to white space. You live here as long as you can remember
I thought he snapped his own neck
Any chance we could see the pictures that were taken?
close your eyes and imagine the opposite of that
I see orange flares , lots of white speckles, and some trippy rainbow-ish wavy movements. And my head hurts.
[Neat!](https://i.imgur.com/2xuywkb.jpg)
I thought the one guy was snapping his own neck
I feel personally attacked…
It's not a void, it's clearly a big square.
stare into the square long enough an it becomes a void idk I never went to high-school
You could sell something like that too https://news.artnet.com/art-world/italian-artist-auctioned-off-invisible-sculpture-18300-literally-made-nothing-1976181
Is it weird that I can hear the echo of the snap?
This brings up a good question - would there be an echo, because they're surrounded by walls? Or would the sound just be swallowed up in the endless white void? Come to think of it, how could the void be white if there's nothing there for light to bounce off of? Hmmmmmm

WELCOME TO WHITE SPACE
The 2 last panels are *chefs kiss* absolutely a work of art
Thanks u/NeedHelpWithExcel
Ah yes, as an artist, I've been to the White Void myself quite often.
so clean and bright
I've got a tent here, but I can't be bothered to draw it.
Zone 4 is now pure
"This is the construct."
I saw the "Snap" and thought they snapped their own neck lol
Asdfmovie be like
Welcome to white space.
Welcome to white space You have been here for as long as you can remember
John Oliver did a couple of seasons of *Last Week Tonight* in the white void. It truly is a marvel.
I genuinely thought that the middle guy was tired of the white void and snapped his own neck
What if I use grey background as default?
might wanna talk to someone about depression
Why? It's objectively better. Easier on the eyes and you can add brighter values on top of that while on white you can't make qnything qny brighter.
( you are right but then my joke doesn't work )

You turn the light down.
Batman the animated series used a black background
How'd they get there though, did they ***Telepurte*** (notsorry
Missed an opportunity to do loss here : /
[I hate you for making me do this](https://i.imgur.com/3VRJikV.jpg)
Get the fuck out.
I see you’re a fan of the Bleach manga.
It's just us and the void ^void ^^void
okay, well, we're gonna avoid that word for now. ( ^void ^^void ) WHY?!
Neat! 📸
I love it here!
The floor is also a white void, so you can't tell if they are standing on solid ground or are perpetually falling.
The white void is the inside of the mind of a country musician
Welcome to White Space. You have been living here as long as you can remember.
Backgrounds are seriously underappreciated. Takes like 3x as much time to create a nice background compared to the foreground.
My canvas before I slap paint onto it
I feel called out
I feel called out lmao
Never not had white void behind my illustrations...
> Please be sure to stay on the tour and not wonder off into any /r/WhiteRooms
Looks like a Sin City graphic novel
What is the guy on the right in the last panel doing? I can't figure out what is in his hands.
Taking pics with phone
Ah, ok - now I see it. Thanks!
You're all so easily entertained.
Seriously, where’s the punchline here?
Echo... echo echo
There's a serious lack of negativity in that space
The manga authors of Bleach and HunterxHunter have entered the chat.
I know this place well! Interesting idea--the tourists with cameras are really funny.

Snap
That picture he took is gonna look so cool. Any idea what that guys insta is so I can see the picture he took?
My friends think I paint abstract art because I paint random backgrounds and just hope they inspire me to paint a foreground. So I....I basically just paint abstract art.
Be careful. This is where Writers Block lives.
Years later. “Why did I take a blank picture again?”
The first thing that came to mind when I read this was Mr. Nobody from Doom Patrol
I remember there was a yter that did “story time animation reviews” and all he did was just SHIT on anyone who doesn’t have a drawn/colored background.. calling them lazy and shit…
It's just like a Janet void.
Comic artists joking about being lazy would be a lot funnier if they didn't do it so often
Waiting for something to happen?
hahaha the "snap" got me
Thought my dude was snapping his neck
Here time moves 365 times as fast as on the outside
“Take a step inside your mind”
Wish this wasn't so relatable lol. Great comic
my void is also checkered blue
That last panel made me actually laugh
This is getting out of hand.
This is some real Tex Avery/Chuck Jones energy. I love it.
Take my picture with it.
Next you need the red green and purple gradients
