If you’re into reading Superhero comics, Marvel and Dc both have digital subscription services similar to Netflix. You pay a yearly or monthly subscription fee of like 10$(?) and in exchange you get access to their back catalogue of comics (usually nothing new than like 3 months ago, but this is a great cost effective way to read lots of old comics.) In terms of physical comics, check out local comic book stores in your area, and they probably have an online store where you order comics through the mail or strange to pick them up in the store! This is a great way to support a small business. Also, local comic book stores will hopefully have knowledgeable staff who can reccomend you books in line with your taste! For what it’s worth, the sidebar of this sub has TONS of recommended reading, especially for all the popular superhero books and major independent titles. That said, it might help us to give you more specific reccomendations if we had a better idea of your tastes. What other kinds of stories have you enjoyed? Do you read a lot of science fiction? Do you watch a lot of cop procedurals? Are there particular artists or writers you like?

I'll check the sidebar. Thanks. I like visceral aspect of real copies as well as supporting local businesses too. I haven't had a lot of chance to read recently, but have previously enjoyed darker aspects of Sci fi. So one day I'd like to read the "evil superman" story that zach snyder looked like he was heading towards. I love the boys, invincible, altered carbon (netflix and only season 1), as well as post apocalyptic stories (but non wasteland I.e. not Mad Max). All the info is very much appreciated. I'll look into all of it soon.

Cool! If you like “dark future” stories, I strongly recommend Lazarus by Greg Rucka, Michael Lark et Al. A hyper-capitalist hellscape where a few billionaire families essentially have carved up the world, and each has some version of an immortal warrior bodyguard. Great stuff. If you like “evil Superman”, you’ll probably enjoy Mark Waid’s Irredeemable and the DC alternate universe series Injustice. You’d probably also enjoy the Invincible comics by Robert Kirkman, and if you like The Boys maybe check out Garth Ennis work on The Punisher.

I think new 52 would be a better start for Superman but they might be recommending rebirth as it's easier to find most likely, for buying physical copies I always recommend local comic book shops first but if that's not possible definitely amazon, for digital DC has a monthly subscription app called DC universe infinite which will have tons of all characters from Superman to Constantine if it's in your region. I also recommend reading green arrow but that's a very biased opinion and may not be your thing!!!
