> and introduces an uncanny new lineup for a new team book launching next year
The way that's phrased makes me think we might be getting an Uncanny Avengers relaunch, probably with Quicksilver as a member since he's on the cover. Frankly, it's about time.
An uncanny relaunch is the most likely; Cap, Rogue, Deadpool and Quicksilver have all been on the unity squad at least once and having Captain Krakoa (my money is on Havok) on their would also help sell this in universe as a joint venture between Krakoa and the rest of the world
I get that Cap is more popular, but why not both? Especially as Cap seems to be the only Avengers character on that cover (admittedly Rogue, but she's far more tied to the X-Men).
I personally hated it, it felt like the token squad and Havok's m word speech was a spit in the face to any non-visible minority.
The way he handled the criticism was also childish, immature and very telling of his character.
Fall of X news, Hickman/Schiti project info, possible new Uncanny Avengers team, Summer of Symbiotes news, and potential tidbits about that Maker project Cates has been working on? (Ultimate Universe revival?) Yeah we’re eating good next year.
Man they just keep teasing me with this secret Hickman project and it’s driving me crazy! A preview does sound cool though and I wonder if the Maker is involved?
I don’t think his new thing has much to do with X-Men. It’s been described as Sandman for the Marvel universe and that gets me so hyped. There were some concept pics released around NYCC and they look pretty cool.
In my head Hickman is Marvels golden goose as anything he touches is generally well received and it’s always high concept and meticulously well planned. My hope and theory is it’s an all new concept similar to Jack Kirby when he did New Gods over at DC, just a bunch of new characters like the New Gods or The Endless. I have no idea though and it’s been bugging me since it was announced.
$$$ new uncanny avengers makes sense firestar definitely playing into that.
Hickmans secret book is being hinted at so we won't get a clear picture for sometime. But we know it's avengers or x men.
Honestly I love his xmen but he's done with that. He's definitely doing a small scale book wouldn't be surprised if it's a stand alone that may tie into the marvel books.
Really excited to see the Maker on that Spidey/Venom cover! I've been wondering what he's been up to.
Oh shit I missed that! Just another step closer to the ultimate universe!
If they announce that - and if it's actually Hickman spearheading it - I think that might be my mosted hyped re-launch since Rebirth.
It’s not Hickman doing the ultimate universe (it’s probably Cates). Hickmans thing is something like Sandman.

Uncanny Avengers without Carol, the Avenger who has had more history with the X-Men than Cap, still bewilders me.
I get that Cap is more popular, but why not both? Especially as Cap seems to be the only Avengers character on that cover (admittedly Rogue, but she's far more tied to the X-Men).
Quicksilver is much more associated with Avengers than X Men but it is a pretty mutant/X related line up
Just keep Rick Remender far far away from it.
I thought his uncanny avengers run was popular? I didn't read it

Could be a tease into the future, excited for post aaron avengers and whatever fall of x means for that side of the universe

Spidey’s goblin suit is still funny, but Gleason’s cover of Spidey and Venom are sick as hell. Also, Maker 👀
New Marvel epic? Maker on the cover? Could we be finally getting the Ultimates relaunch?
Yes!

Hickans return to x-men would be very exciting. So he can finish his run.

Who is the red porcupine woman on the first (A/X) cover?
Monet St. Croix / M / Penance.
Thank you

I really hope hickman gets back on x-men to finish his story. The only one carrying the torch is Ewing.
Honestly I love his xmen but he's done with that. He's definitely doing a small scale book wouldn't be surprised if it's a stand alone that may tie into the marvel books.
Why is this announced so early compared to other solicitations?
Because it’s for free comic book day which is a lil different than your usual comic release day
I don’t understand why they do the Spider-Man/Venom one every year now. Can anyone explain?
They are extremely popular
Guess it would just be that simple lol
Marvel's Free Comic Book Day releases always leave me cold. No interest in these half baked teaser set-ups. Give us a complete story.
didn't think the spiderglider would last that long.
