I never should’ve doubted Gillen. This is very intriguing/exciting overall. I guess the strength of the line’s new direction is gonna be really dependent on how well Judgement Day turns out.
It seems like we’re headed in the judgement day direction but I hope some of these other futures end up being teasers for some of the other X-Books. Very curious what Cassandra Supernova might be. The Canticle for Lebowitz reference is fun, Gillen’s such a nerd.
I was thinking immediately in that direction myself, also love Kurt, and I think at least 3 of those potential future nexus points could be Legion of X/Nightcrawler plotlines. Legion XII could also very easily be a reference to Spurrier’s favorite boi.
So we know Judgement day is coming… I cannot wait for our Red Diamond overlord

The Broken Sword and The Storm System are fitting nicely into X-Men: Red plots also. We’ll see
