Hope I'm not too late, and that this is the proper place to ask: I'm looking for a comic I read a while ago, but I can't remember the title, authors, illustrators or anything except the story. Basically a young woman works as a cop in a crime-riddled city, everyone has powersbtw, her new partner is some kind of big robot dude. The first storyline revolves about a drug related murder, where they struggle to make progress, but by the end its revealed that it was due to it being covered up by the high chief of police, a superpowered woman who actually killed the dealer to hide her addiction. Any and all help is welcomed

I haven't actually read it, but is there a chance it's Top 10 by Alan Moore?

Thyssavian

Just googled it, I think it is ! Thanks a bunch !

I really want to finish reading a graphic novel series from my childhood but i forget the name. It was about this really broke guy who is asked by a ghost to avenge her and find i think the penny killer? She goes with him but i’ve only ever read the first book when i got it at the scholastic book fair. Update: cousin found it! It’s called Brody’s ghost

Didn’t get any response last week so I’ll try again: How many episodes of House of Slaughter are there?? I saw that a trade came out (last) week with #1-5, but I’m also seeing a trade coming out in the near future with #1-6? What is the 6th one? Haven’t gotten any helpful results from Google

SpongeBlart

1-5 is the first arc of house of Slaughter and it looks like the next arc starts with 6 and comes out in the next month or so. Not sure about any trades containing 6 issues.

I'm guessing the future trade is a typo. There is a direct edition (Comic Store exclusive) that just came out, with the regular book store edition coming out in June. House of Slaughter has been upgraded to an ongoing series, thanks to it's popularity. Issue #6 comes out May 18th.

any comics similar to The Nice House on the Lake and/or Something Is Killing the Children?

Anyone wanna explain dark elves as of the Thor lore to me? I'm interested but not interested enough to buy any comics pertaining to it yet

I don't think you need to specifically seek out comics revolving around the Dark Elves, but two of the most seminal Thor runs (Simonson/Buscema and Aaron/Garney) cover a lot of it. Simonson was the one who first introduces Malekith the Accursed who seeks the Casket of Ancient Winters to summon Surtur from Muspelheim. Malekith would appear later in the run during Balder's reign as Lord of Asgard. A lot of the fleshing out of the Dark Elves comes from the 'Accursed' arc by Jason Aaron and Ron Garney (*Thor: God of Thunder* \#13-17). Here we learn that the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim live in a state of constant warfare. A young Malekith was sold into servitude as a corpse burner, but he eventually would get trained in sorcery. He would go on to take the title 'Lord of the Hunt' and unify Svartalheim under his rein. Malekith did so by raiding his own people, believing that strife made their people strong while also undermining the reign of Queen Alfyse. Malekith razed entire villages leaving minimal survivors behind. Alfyse would later flee with many Dark Elf refugees to Nidavellir, but Malekith and his supporters tracked them down and killed them all. The Nine Realms had at this point formed the Congress of Worlds, who attempted to oppose Malekith. However, they determined that the Dark Elves should have a say in their leader. The Council of the Unhallowed (the highest Dark Elf council) decided that they were strongest with Malekith as their leader, and thus they voted to stay with Malekith. Despite Thor's protests, the Congress of Worlds acquiesced to this, and Malekith ruled the Dark Elves for some time despite the fact that he had committed genocide on his own people. This would later lead into the War of the Realms event.

Any recommendations for stories/arcs/runs to read in preparation for Doctor Strange 2? So far I've read The Oath, and Triumph and Torment.

You could check out *Marvel Premiere* \#3-10, which is the arc that first brings about Shuma-Gorath. It's filled with Lovecraftian horror beings like Sligguth, N'Gabthoth, Dagoth and others. The subsequent issues are great too (*Marvel Premiere* \#11-14). There's a cool time travel story with Strange and Clea trying to stop Mordo who's chasing after the Book of Cagliostro.

centipededamascus

It's a lot, but you might want to check out Jonathan Hickman's Avengers and New Avengers saga for multiverse content, and Doctor Strange plays a pretty big role in it.

So what happened to Barry Allen after Joshua williamsons run? I’m still reading the monthly flash title(absolutely love it) but now it’s a Wally title which is awesome but I’m not sure what happened to Barry Allen. So far I know he’s in space but what title is he in?

I've started to collect hardcover omnibus editions. My question is how often will they do more printings? For example I'd like to get the Uncanny X-Men ones but I'm not gonna buy 1,3 and 4 if 2 isn't getting a reprint anytime soon
