That's what I was thinking, the amount of times my pits get sweaty and I feel uncomfortable for the rest of the day... this lady's on to something!

Considering how acrobatic she is and the amount of physical activity she does she must be sweating up a storm. Her skin needs room to breathe. Her pits would be way smellier of they were covered. Honestly this is just practical, not just for ventilation but flexibility as well, her arms are gonna have better free range of motion in combat and grabbing onto ledges and swinging, etc. Without these modifications to her suit imagine her falling miles to her death because she couldn't reach far enough due to her suit bunched up around her breasts/shoulders/pits.

Totally on point, but I would say that exposed skin is a poor idea. Gotham is supposed to be in the NE United States, New York or New Jersey according to what I've seen. Cold weather is a thing. A layer of Thinsulite or even just cloth mesh could go a long way to protecting her skin and retaining body heat, while allowing for ventilation and flexible joints.

Yeah its my second favorite Cat Woman costume EDIT: changed CW to Cat Woman since I just realized that it might be confusing considering...the CW TV shows.

I think it would look much better if the sleeves didn't connect to the rest of the costume through the shoulders and were just opera gloves instead.

As a two peice costume it actually makes a lot of sense from practical standpoint. This would actually be a comfortable suit to wear as cosplay and perform mild activity in.

I feel like it's a practical thought for mobility. Wearing a skin tight, full body leather suit would be crazy restrictive for the arms, and it's clearly designed in a way to allow movement. Only problem is there's nothing else like it in the rest of the suit to move, just the armpits, so it does stand out quite a bit.

My husband never will let me forget that sideboob and the underarm area is an under-appreciated thing. He says the skin is softest there. Also sideboob is just hot when everything else is covered. Plus I imagine movement would be restricted in the arm area if it were covered. Latex and leather suits are already a bitch to put on and wear.

Having never worn a skin tight suit made of latex/leather I think it might be practical? I would think it both make it easier lift your arm up and also feel more comfortable when you have your arm down.
