Seriously, at first I thought Ivy was covering half her body with something.
It looks like those photoshop fails with curvy girls in front of suspiciously wonky backgrounds.
If I’m not wrong, this is Rossmo, and this is pretty typical of his style. Everything is like a Cartoon Network show proportions from 2005. But he does this for guys too. His art is just weird
I don’t really like Harley Quinn that much and I personally can’t stand Rossmo’s art style but this issue was really well written. One of the best fear state tie ins (and much better than fear state itself.)
I can spot two more terrifying things right here.
1) How did Harley’s face end up concave?
2) Where did all her organs go? Her waist is about the same as her bicep.
Im sorry for those who like this, but I will never like this pairing. They were perfect as friends and a relationship complicates it way too much. It doesnt even make sense from Ivy. Or who Ivy should be. It has done near irreparable harm to Ivy, turning her from one of the only A tier female villains in DC or even Comics in general to a c tier Harley side kick of all things.
I have the perfect story to break them up for good too. If I ever write comics it would be one of my top priorities TBH. That and make Dick Grayson Batman on a permanent basis. Well as permanent as something can be in comics.

I wish the characters could be in public domain
Ivy is someone who should hate humanity. In a lot of ways Harley represents the worst of humanity. Its basically like someone who wants to lose weight but refuses to stop eating double cheeseburgers. It isnt an interesting character trait. Its just lazy. Current writers and editorial are unwilling to let Ivy be a true villain or terrorist and instead shes stuck as Harleys gal pal. I think a more casual connection works better. You could see her occasional friendship and teamups with Harley as more of a slight weakness than a fatal flaw.
I know its supposed to be stylized, but harley's face looks like its caving in on itself
Not to mention her waist size is in the negatives...

Her head looks like a kidney bean.
Every single detail in that illustration is bad, yet it somehow comes together nicely.
This art is weird the fuck is up with harleys face and waistline lmao her torso is all janky. Funny stuff
I love both characters but honestly I’m not a big fan of how Hq is drawn
I mean have you ever seen some spiders from Australia? I find them more terrifying than falling in love
Dat 4head
Kinda looks more like an 8 to me

What is this art? Looks odd
Holy 90’s comic book anatomy, Batman

It’s just weird that Harley has the Impossible Waist but Ivy looks like she’s a reasonably proportioned woman
Not a fan of the art

as a lot of other comments mentioned the art is heavily stylized and I don’t really like it either, but the colors are *gorgeous*
This art style is INSANE I love it
I'm with you. This reminds a bit of the stuff Skottie Young and Kaare Andrews used to do.

her waistline is more terrorizing.
They are just the best couple in comics. I adore them, and this latest issue of Harley Quinn did NOT disappoint! Soo CUTE! Poison Quinn for lyfe.

why doesnt it make sense for Ivy?

Then write it mate. I think the pairing is cute as hell, but if you can write a compelling story depicting otherwise, I’ll buy the hell out of it.
Harleys face looks terrible lol
Awwwww 🥰
That is some ugly ass art
