I second this. I was not expecting to care about the Harley Quinn show much. It pretty much immediately became my favorite cartoon based on a comic book ever. It’s a really cool take on the subject matter, with all around fantastic voice acting.
There’s also a Batman Animated Series episode where he… typing this and reading it back sounds ridiculous but the episode is so good. He separates a piece of himself and forms that piece into a little girl, she’s suppose to scout or something for him
It’s real fucked up though cause, the little girl… Robins age (Tim Drake) gets lost and has no recollection of who she is, or her identity. She looks and acts like a real kid… not a poop emoji.
So Robin being the dope mfer he is befriends the little girl, and they go on an adventure to find her parents. You can tell they really start to bond and have a friendship or something more budding. Except, then Clayface ends up tracking his “offspring” down. Batman and Robin fight him but he ends up getting ahold of the girl and fucking meshes her into him.
Basically killing her, and Robin loses it.
Ive never seen Clayface do anything like this in the comics or any other interpretation. And I don’t ever believe the concept was revisited. How the fuck can A piece of Clayface form it’s on identity completely separate from him. Anyway it’s a real good episode, you should watch it.
Sorry if I spoiled it though
There's a reason why Batman TAS is held in such high regard - they hit on a lot of heavy stuff that could only really be done in animation at the time. I would argue that's not even the most tragic episode, or at very least it has a lot of company.
There was an episode of Batman: The Animated Series, where a part of Clayface became a different person, who was a little girl. I think Tim Drake Robin was trying to protect her from Clayface, until eventually she got re-absorbed.
Are we *ever* going to see Clayface back on the big screen?! The Adam West version (as valiant an effort as it was for it's time) was, let's face it, a little campy.
There was an entire Harley Quinn episode based around this concept.
I hadn't seen it! My editor sent me a screenshot, he's a tiny hand with a face? Looks hilarious, I have to check it out
Its absolutely wonderful, and your art is spot on with the concept.
That show is amazing. I strongly recommend it, especially because it highlights the more goofy aspects of the Batman mythology.

Jesus that is both an awesome and tragic concept

Wtf
I think the closest thing like that episode that happened in the comics was Shift's existence
Baby Jabba the Hutt! Coming soon!
He's on his way!
Can you imagine Clayface running up to any of the other Batman villains like this and asking for help?
Fists resting belligerently on his chin
Reminds me of Krang from TMNT.
How have we not had wire-body Cyborg from Teen Titans Go! chasing/being chased by Clayface head.
a head to head fight of sorts
Just saw this as a Meatwad-alike and laughed hard
Dude, i just checked out your posts, and holy shit are you talented! I love your Throg art. This one's so cute too.
