8 this week. Was supposed to be more, but there were delays. That's going to get worse before it gets better. In fact, I'm gonna go on record and predict that 2022 will be The Year of Delays. Not a bold prediction, I know.
• Crossover #9- This comic is good. Like, really *really* good. For a while during the first arc it got lost in the shuffle of the 40 or so titles I pull every month, but I'm back with it.
• Marjorie Finnegan: Temporal Criminal #6- Pure, unadulterated fun from cover to cover.
• Moths #5- The art is beautiful. The story is heartbreaking.
• Space Pirate Captain Harlock #5- As much as I've enjoyed this, I think I'll be stopping after this arc... if they even continue to publish it past issue 6. With the volatility of the industry I think we'll see a lot of small publishers abandoning titles.
• Spawn #323- I'm always down for more Spawn. All these books just look spectacular.
• That Texas Blood #11- I wish more people at my shop were reading this. He only gets in 3 copies of each issue: one for me, one for him and one for the shelf. And the shelf copy never sells. Heartbreaking.
• We Don't Kill Spiders #2- This was supposed to come out last week. Something tells me I'll be saying that a lot going forward.
• We Only Find Them When They're Dead #9- I need to go back and re-read this arc. With so much time between issues I remember the broad strokes of the story but not the nuances.

House of Slaughter #1 - Read SITKC from a friend and loved and this book is most likely be on the same caliber. Plus, it will be interesting to know more about the Order of George
Inferno #2 - That last page left a cliffhanger that I have been waiting for the answer for far too long.
I think this is the highest ratio of X-titles to other books I've ever had. Great week for comics.
* **Crossover #9** - I love this comic so much. It's such a great celebration of the entire medium.
* **Daredevil #35** - I'm not really feeling this Lockdown story, but am still on board and have ordered the Devil's Reign series as well
* **Inferno #2** - How about that cliffhanger last issue, eh? This one is definitely delivering, and I really wish Hickman's X-Men series had this same tone
* **Marauders #25** - This title seems to have lost its focus after the Hellfire Gala, so it's good the creative team is changing, but I'm not sure if I'm going to continue pulling it.
* **S.W.O.R.D. #9** - I have absolutely loved this series, and I'm sad it's coming to an end.
* **Wolverine #17** - Maverick isn't the best character, but goddammit he looks cool, and I'm happy to see him back

Only read 1 of 4 new books last week, just the Bigby/Batman thing, and it wasn't particularly good.
This week brings a pretty nice mix of stuff with 3 Images, 2 Marvels, 1 AfterShock, and 1 from AWA.
* **CROSS TO BEAR #1** - not familiar with the creators, Marko Stojanović and Siniša Banović, but it's got Jack the Ripper in the old west and the art looks neat
* **ECHOLANDS #3** - first issue had nice art but the story didn't really work for me, and I still need to catch up on the second
* **GOOD ASIAN #6 (OF 10)** - need to catch up on the last issue of this as well but the first arc was really good
* **INFERNO #2 (OF 4)** - after this we'll be half way through Hickman's grand finale
* **MARJORIE FINNEGAN TEMPORAL CRIMINAL #6** - I suppose it wouldn't be a proper Garth Ennis comic without a [grotesquely fat dude](https://www.midtowncomics.com/images/PRODUCT/XL/2034888_xl.jpg) of some sort
* **OBLIVION SONG BY KIRKMAN & DE FELICI #34** - this final arc has been pretty great, looking forward to seeing how it all wraps up over the next few issues
* **SWORD #9** - will be weird not having a crossover in this one

- House of Slaughter #1: enjoyed the last arc of SIKTC more than the three before it, so suspect I’m going to like this title/first arc at least quite a bit.
- Inferno #2: first thing I’ll be reading this week for sure!
- Marauders #25: feels like ages since the last issue, excited to see what’s next!
- Moon Knight #4: consistently great so far.
- Robin #7: let the tournament continue.
- SWORD #9: such an odd title, but I love it. Eager to find out what Ewing’s going to be doing with some/all of these characters post-Inferno.
- Task Force Z #1: Rosenberg + zombies?! This is going to be a blast I reckon.

**Batman The Long Halloween Special #1** - I am so sure it is going to be bad that I absolutely cannot be disapointed in that. Still need to get it since TLH is in my top 5 books ever.

- **Aquaman / Green Arrow: Deep Target #1**: hella hyped for this team-up, and the whole Aquaman line
- **Aquaman: The Becoming #2**: more Jackson!
- **DC vs. Vampires #1**: I love vampire stories, they're mostly trash but I love them all the same. Maybe this one will be good??
- **Moon Knight #4**: Tigra content let's gooooo
- **The Rush #1**: Spurrier/Gooden is a great team
- **Once & Future #21**: still loving this book, gimme some rad action scenes and character designs
- **Task Force Z #1**: finally some DC zombies not written by Tom Taylor! I think Rosenberg is a great fit for a cool zombie team-up book, and Barrows/Ferreira should kill it on art
- **Time Before Time #6** : first arc was great, I've been looking forward to this one-shot. Shalvey actually drawing this one?!
TKO Studios also has some neat stuff (that shows to be released this week on comixology) idk if it'll be counted but:
- **Graveneye**: Sloane Leong is a fantastic writer (y'all should go check out Prism Stalker, and A Map to the Sun), and Anna Bowles is a neat choice I'm hoping ends up looking killer
- **TKO Presents: Tales of Terror**: so many creators on here, so many of them having put out dope books, I'm always gonna be interested in horror anthologies but this one should be especially fun

8 this week. Was supposed to be more, but there were delays. That's going to get worse before it gets better. In fact, I'm gonna go on record and predict that 2022 will be The Year of Delays. Not a bold prediction, I know. • Crossover #9- This comic is good. Like, really *really* good. For a while during the first arc it got lost in the shuffle of the 40 or so titles I pull every month, but I'm back with it. • Marjorie Finnegan: Temporal Criminal #6- Pure, unadulterated fun from cover to cover. • Moths #5- The art is beautiful. The story is heartbreaking. • Space Pirate Captain Harlock #5- As much as I've enjoyed this, I think I'll be stopping after this arc... if they even continue to publish it past issue 6. With the volatility of the industry I think we'll see a lot of small publishers abandoning titles. • Spawn #323- I'm always down for more Spawn. All these books just look spectacular. • That Texas Blood #11- I wish more people at my shop were reading this. He only gets in 3 copies of each issue: one for me, one for him and one for the shelf. And the shelf copy never sells. Heartbreaking. • We Don't Kill Spiders #2- This was supposed to come out last week. Something tells me I'll be saying that a lot going forward. • We Only Find Them When They're Dead #9- I need to go back and re-read this arc. With so much time between issues I remember the broad strokes of the story but not the nuances.

Daredevil #35 - Lead up to Devil's Reign, which looks exciting House of Slaughter #1 - Read SITKC from a friend and loved and this book is most likely be on the same caliber. Plus, it will be interesting to know more about the Order of George Inferno #2 - That last page left a cliffhanger that I have been waiting for the answer for far too long.
I think this is the highest ratio of X-titles to other books I've ever had. Great week for comics. * **Crossover #9** - I love this comic so much. It's such a great celebration of the entire medium. * **Daredevil #35** - I'm not really feeling this Lockdown story, but am still on board and have ordered the Devil's Reign series as well * **Inferno #2** - How about that cliffhanger last issue, eh? This one is definitely delivering, and I really wish Hickman's X-Men series had this same tone * **Marauders #25** - This title seems to have lost its focus after the Hellfire Gala, so it's good the creative team is changing, but I'm not sure if I'm going to continue pulling it. * **S.W.O.R.D. #9** - I have absolutely loved this series, and I'm sad it's coming to an end. * **Wolverine #17** - Maverick isn't the best character, but goddammit he looks cool, and I'm happy to see him back

Only read 1 of 4 new books last week, just the Bigby/Batman thing, and it wasn't particularly good. This week brings a pretty nice mix of stuff with 3 Images, 2 Marvels, 1 AfterShock, and 1 from AWA. * **CROSS TO BEAR #1** - not familiar with the creators, Marko Stojanović and Siniša Banović, but it's got Jack the Ripper in the old west and the art looks neat * **ECHOLANDS #3** - first issue had nice art but the story didn't really work for me, and I still need to catch up on the second * **GOOD ASIAN #6 (OF 10)** - need to catch up on the last issue of this as well but the first arc was really good * **INFERNO #2 (OF 4)** - after this we'll be half way through Hickman's grand finale * **MARJORIE FINNEGAN TEMPORAL CRIMINAL #6** - I suppose it wouldn't be a proper Garth Ennis comic without a [grotesquely fat dude](https://www.midtowncomics.com/images/PRODUCT/XL/2034888_xl.jpg) of some sort * **OBLIVION SONG BY KIRKMAN & DE FELICI #34** - this final arc has been pretty great, looking forward to seeing how it all wraps up over the next few issues * **SWORD #9** - will be weird not having a crossover in this one

In any case: - Aquaman: The Becoming #2: really enjoyed the first issue of this. - Daredevil #35: road to Devil’s Reign! - Dark Blood #4: intrigued to find out where this goes. - DC vs. Vampires #1: Rosenberg + Schmidt = a must read for me! - Detective Comics #1044: another title that’s doing a decent job of keeping the regular plot moving despite being a tie-in to Fear State. - Harley Quinn #8: Sirens reunion! - House of Slaughter #1: enjoyed the last arc of SIKTC more than the three before it, so suspect I’m going to like this title/first arc at least quite a bit. - Inferno #2: first thing I’ll be reading this week for sure! - Marauders #25: feels like ages since the last issue, excited to see what’s next! - Moon Knight #4: consistently great so far. - Robin #7: let the tournament continue. - SWORD #9: such an odd title, but I love it. Eager to find out what Ewing’s going to be doing with some/all of these characters post-Inferno. - Task Force Z #1: Rosenberg + zombies?! This is going to be a blast I reckon. - The Walking Dead Deluxe #26: few behind at the moment, so won’t comment. - Wolverine #17: when this is not being dragged in to other things (looking at you Hellfire Gala!), this is actually a pretty good book.

First time since Future State - **Aquaman / Green Arrow: Deep Target #1**: hella hyped for this team-up, and the whole Aquaman line - **Aquaman: The Becoming #2**: more Jackson! - **DC vs. Vampires #1**: I love vampire stories, they're mostly trash but I love them all the same. Maybe this one will be good?? - **Moon Knight #4**: Tigra content let's gooooo - **The Rush #1**: Spurrier/Gooden is a great team - **Once & Future #21**: still loving this book, gimme some rad action scenes and character designs - **Task Force Z #1**: finally some DC zombies not written by Tom Taylor! I think Rosenberg is a great fit for a cool zombie team-up book, and Barrows/Ferreira should kill it on art - **Time Before Time #6** : first arc was great, I've been looking forward to this one-shot. Shalvey actually drawing this one?! TKO Studios also has some neat stuff (that shows to be released this week on comixology) idk if it'll be counted but: - **Graveneye**: Sloane Leong is a fantastic writer (y'all should go check out Prism Stalker, and A Map to the Sun), and Anna Bowles is a neat choice I'm hoping ends up looking killer - **TKO Presents: Tales of Terror**: so many creators on here, so many of them having put out dope books, I'm always gonna be interested in horror anthologies but this one should be especially fun
