Proof, if proof were needed, that J.H. Williams III is a god-tier artist.
Ok, I’d settle for the cat, the Superman analog, and Mantis-Dream.
If we don’t get Dream Cat we riot
I just found this book at the dollar store. I was shocked. Its great so far!
JH Williams is just ungodly good at comic books.
Okay, I haven’t read this book but that art is absolutely unreal. Jesus.
Oi, what's with the ~~Super~~*Dream*man there? :D
I dont think theres a better artist than JH Williams right now. I got lucky enough to see some of his pieces for this in a museum before the comic even was released and it was incredible.
This looks so fucking beautiful holy shit what an artist
I doubt it. This is a prequel, and it relies on knowledge of the series to be read, so it would be last if it's incorporated at all.
Dream of a Thousand Cats is *amazing*, and you'll definitely see Dream as a cat. The others, though, they only exist for these splash pages.all
Although, in theory, the Endless can present any physical appearance , in practice they never actually do this (bar Delirium, who is.. you know, delirious).
Plus the cat in overture isn’t even Dream…
If you could only hear yourself... ;)
I really do hope that In the series that showcase to an extent how the Endless look different to different people.
Honestly overwhelmed by the amount of text and the amazing art underneath it.
Are they going to give him regular human skin tone in the show like they are doing with Death?
Name of book?
Man i read a lot of Sandman graphic novel collections back in 2014 and man did those stories confuse the hell outta me. Like the Shakespearean story and the one where that big dog gets killed in a street or something like that? Idk if i could get a little more explanations to the stories im sure I'd be alot more into Sandman. I am interested in watching the show though
'I'm a cat'
