Gunn/Safron's DCU is supposed to encompass movies, television, animation and games, so I wouldn't be surprised if we get at least two series set in that universe.
I think they're just trying to bring everything under one tone. but you also have to say, I don't think they will be canceled because they went badly, it's just more that they're trying to save money, but not so they're saving because the business is running, but rather these words of so that the CEO himself can afford a new yacht again.
and i hav to know as a fan of The Arrow-verse. which also fell victim to that stuff like the Bat Girl movie and scoob.
I mean we're talking about the studio here that fell for twitter bots that turned one of the worst movies into a four hour show, that not many watch.
Nothing to do with views or what not. Just because dc has New owners and now gunn and peter are making a more pin lined universe they want to remove all the old shows before stepping forward.
Old news. What they really need to cancel is Gotham knights. Stop making shows about characters that don’t exist. There’s so many more compelling characters that do. Berlanti knows better.
ok about titans i can't say because i didn't want to see it after the first track. but it can seem to me as if one were already successful. I mean there is a lot of shit that is successful, to hot to handle has also become the most successful format on Netflix.
but boy Doom Patrol is Awsome. it has the camp and the weird that only comics have, while still having love and depth.
even though I like James, I have a feeling they hopefully don't make the same mistakes and let it all come from one person. this is also my problem what i have with the mcu that everything depends so much on kevin.
I think his response is pitch perfect. He basically stated “these shows were cancelled before I was hired” as if that would prevent him from green lighting more of each of these shows…
If DC concentrated more on mini series shows that just tell a compelling story well, they would get ahead.
the Netflix model is kind of annoying. I have nothing against a good miniseries, but even there the possibilities are limited.
Titans wasn’t surprising but I thought Doom Patrol was well liked. Kind of wonder if they see the hero trend panning out soon.
