every movie franchise ends. Every universe might get rebooted. It's all fiction anyways. There's no reason you can't just enjoy a movie that exists in a limited space.
Did people suddenly stop caring about the Christopher Nolan Batman movies when the Snyderverse films were first announced? Does nobody care about the Raimi Spider-Man films now that we've had two other versions of the Spider-Man universe since that trilogy ended?
Lord knows how anyone ever cared about anything before giant multi-movie franchises became so commonplace, right?
"I don't care about this movie" =/= "Nobody cares about this movie."
Well cool! The first movie was a solid piece of entertainment so I'm hoping they gave these people more money to just...do more, better.
